Preface
I love my friends and like my enemies. Friends love me, accept my good deeds, inspire me and correct me by constructive criticisms. Enemies give me stimulus to go forward.

All praises for the almighty Allah.

History of this book I started writing this book about 7 years back. In some days of this duration, I have to work about 12 hours or more in a day. After such a long time works, this small book is about to come in the market. I have discussed with teachers and students of Bangladesh and overseas countries to improve the quality of this book. There are some other published books by me. These creative works by me was not taken easily by some people (probably from jealousy). They have become my enemies and have harassed me in different ways (like circulating propagandas against me, creating obstacles for me etc.). I use the pains given by my enemies as energy to write this book. I request to all my readers and well wishers to pray for me to overcome the future obstacles.

Goal of this book This book's goal is to deliver a clear conception of physiology to the students. Emphasis has been given here to the topics which are more useful clinically. I hope this book will work as a foundation of physiology which will help the future doctors to understand the mechanisms, manifestations and treatment of diseases. Acknowledgements I am grateful to my colleagues, my friends and students of different medical colleges of our country and abroad who have encouraged me and provide me guidance to write this book.
