En caso de dudas dirjase a una persona
profesionalmente cualificada.
En caso de incompatibilidad entre
la toma de corriente y la clavija del
aparato, mande sustituir la toma por
otro de tipo adecuado, dirigindose a
personal cualificado.
Desaconsejamos el uso de adaptadores,
clavijas y/o cables de extensin. Si
dichos elementos fueran indispensables,
use slo adaptadores simples o
mltiples y cables de extensin que
respeten las normas de seguridad
vigentes, cuidando en no sobrepasar
el lmite de potencia indicado en el
adaptador y/o en el cable de extensin.
Si el aparato dejara de funcionar dirjase
nicamente a un Centro de Asistencia
Tcnico autorizado. En caso de avera
y/o desperfectos de funcionamiento,
apague el aparato sin intentar repararlo.

tcnica autorizado y solicite que sean
utilizados repuestos y accesorios
originales.
El aparato tiene que destinarse
nicamente al uso domstico para el
cual ha sido diseado y tal y como se
describe en este Manual. Cualquier
otro uso se considera impropio y, por
consiguiente peligroso. El fabricante no
puede ser considerado responsable de
los daos eventuales derivados de un
uso incorrecto, errneo e irresponsable
y/o debidos a reparaciones efectuadas
por personal no cualificado.
Al utilizar aparatos elctricos, se deben
de seguir ciertas normas de seguridad
bsicas para reducir el riesgo de fuego,

tierra eficaz tal como prevn las vigentes

responsable de daos derivados de la

4. ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
Antes de utilizar el aparato por primera vez:
Limpie las placas con un pao hmedo
o esponja y deje secar.
Cuando las placas estn secas, ntelas
ligeramente con aceite de ensalada.
Como proteccin contra descargas
elctricas, no sumerja el aparato ni el cable
ni la clavija en agua o en cualquier otro
lquido.

DAOS A PERSONAS O PROPIEDADES
POR EL CONTACTO CON LOS LADOS
O LA PARTE SUPERIOR DEL APARATO
DURANTE SU UTILIZACIN O EL
ENFRIAMIENTO DEL MISMO.
Desconecte el aparato de la red cuando no
lo est utilizando y antes de proceder a su
limpieza. Djelo enfriar antes de limpiarlo.
No utilice el aparato si el cable de
alimentacin o la clavija estn estropeados,
o en caso de avera o mal funcionamiento.
El usuario no debe proceder a la sustitucin
del cable de este aparato. En caso de que
est estropeado o haya que sustituirlo,
dirigirse exclusivamente a un Servicio
de Asistencia Tcnica autorizado por el
fabricante para su examen, reparacin o
ajuste.
No deje que el cable cuelgue del borde de
la mesa o la encimera, que est en contacto
con superficies calientes o que se enrede.
Compruebe con regularidad el cable de
alimentacin, por si presenta algn dao.
No deje el aparato encima o cerca de un
quemador de gas o elctrico caliente,
dentro o junto a un horno caliente o un
horno microondas.
Cuando vaya a utilizar el aparato deje un
espacio de aire suficiente encima y a los
lados para la correcta circulacin del aire.
No permita que el aparato est en contacto
con cortinas, papeles pintados, ropa, paos
de cocina y dems materiales inflamables
durante la utilizacin.
ATENCIN: En superficies en las que
el calor puede resultar un problema,
se recomienda utilizar una almohadilla
termoaislante.
No utilice ningn aparato elctrico que
tenga el cable o la clavija deteriorados
o cuando el aparato no funcione
debidamente o haya sido daado en
cualquier forma. Lleve el aparato a un
servicio tcnico autorizado para su
examen, reparacin o ajuste.
No tire del cable de alimentacin para
extraer la clavija del enchufe.
No deje el aparato desatendido cuando
est en funcionamiento y mantngalo fuera
del alcance de los nios o discapacitados.
No deje el aparato expuesto a los agentes
atmosfricos (lluvia, sol, hielo, etc.).
En caso de avera y/o desperfectos de
funcionamiento, apague el aparato sin
intentar repararlo. Dirjase a un Centro de
Asistencia tcnica autorizado y solicite que
sean utilizados repuestos y accesorios
originales.
No utilice utensilios metlicos sobre las
placas calefactoras ya que se podra daar
su recubrimiento antiadherente.
Este aparato no est destinado para el
uso por personas (incluidos nios) con
capacidades fsicas, sensoriales o mentales
disminuidas, o faltas de experiencia o
conocimiento; a menos de que dispongan
de supervisin o instruccin relativa al
uso del aparato por parte de una persona
responsable de su seguridad.
Debe vigilarse a los nios para asegurar
que no juegan con el aparato.
Para mayor proteccin, se recomienda la
instalacin de un dispositivo de corriente
residual (RCD) con una corriente residual
operativa que no supere los 30 mA. Pida
consejo a su instalador.
5. PUESTA EN MARCHA

estable, dejando suficiente espacio

REALIZACION DE SUS SANDWICHES
Caliente siempre las placas antes de
colocar los sandwiches.
Recomendamos la utilizacin de pan de
molde especial para sandwiches.
No aada azcar sobre el pan ya que tiene
tendencia a quemarse. Si es necesario
adalo despus.
Cuando utilice queso en la realizacin de
los sandwiches, es conveniente que lo
haga con rebanadas finas de queso blando.
Le recomendamos que comience
con tiempos de 3 minutos y vaya
incrementando o disminuyendo los tiempos
en funcin de su gusto.
6. LIMPIEZA
Para proceder a la limpieza del aparato
desenchufe siempre el aparato y espere a que
las placas se templen.
Utilice un pao hmedo, esponja o cepillo suave
Para limpiar el interior y el exterior del aparato.
No utilice detergentes ni elementos abrasivos
para no rayar las placas.
La limpieza es ms fcil si se realiza cuando las
placas estn templadas.
NUNCA SUMERJA EL APARATO EN AGUA NI
LA COLOQUE BAJO EL GRIFO.
8. INFORMACIN PARA LA
CORRECTA GESTIN DE LOS
RESIDUOS DE APARATOS
ELCTRICOS Y ELECTRNICOS
Al final de la vida til del
aparato, ste no debe
eliminarse mezclado con
los residuos domsticos
generales.
Puede entregarse, sin
coste alguno, en centros
especficos de recogida, diferenciados
por las administraciones locales, o
distribuidores que faciliten este servicio.
Eliminar por separado un residuo de
electrodomstico, significa evitar posibles
consecuencias negativas para el medio
ambiente y la salud, derivadas de una
eliminacin inadecuada, y permite un
tratamiento, y reciclado de los materiales
que lo componen, obteniendo ahorros
importantes de energa y recursos.
Para subrayar la obligacin de colaborar
con una recogida selectiva, en el producto
aparece el marcado que se muestra
como advertencia de la no utilizacin
de contenedores tradicionales para su
eliminacin.
Para mas informacin, ponerse en contacto
con la autoridad local o con la tienda
donde adquiri el producto.

2. Prepare los ingredientes para tostar
el sndwich. Por cada sndwich Ud.
necesita dos rebanadas de pan con el
correspondiente relleno. Para un correcto

los panes (las que van en contacto con las
placas).
3. Al cabo de unos 5 minutos
aproximadamente, el piloto verde se
apagar indicando que las placas han
alcanzado la temperatura correcta para
comenzar el tostado. Durante el tostado,
el piloto verde se encender y apagar a
intervalos regulares indicando los ciclos
del termostato; el piloto rojo, se mantendr
encendido durante todo el tiempo que dure
el tostado, indicando que el aparato est
conectado a la red.
4. Levante la tapa y coloque el/los sndwich(s)
con cuidado de no quemarse. Cierre la tapa
con cuidado y enganche el pestillo de cierre
(3) en el asa inferior (4) fig. 3.
Puede tostar un solo sndwich si lo desea.
5. Al cabo de 3 4 minutos aproximadamente
(depender del grado de tostado que Ud.
desee), los sndwichs estarn a punto.
Abra la tapa y extraiga los sndwichs con
cuidado de no quemarse. Utilice para ello
una esptula de madera y evite el empleo
de utensilios cortantes que pudieran daar
la superficie antiadherente de las placas.
6. Desenchufe el aparato despus de su uso y
espere a que se enfre antes de su limpieza
o almacenamiento.

Este aparelho, deve utilizar-se apenas
para uso domstico, para o qual foi
desenhado e tal como se descreve
neste Manual. Qualquer outra utilizao
considerada inadequada e, por
conseguinte, perigosa. O fabricante,
no ser responsvel pelos danos
que possam derivar de uma utilizao
desapropriada ou pouco adequada ou,
ainda, por reparaes efectuadas por
pessoal no qualificado.
Ao utilizar aparelhos elctricos, devem
seguir-se certas normas de segurana
bsicas, afim de reduzir o risco de fogo,
descargas elctricas e/ou danos a
pessoas:
Como proteco contra descargas
elctricas, no mergulhe na gua nem
em qualquer outro lquido, o aparelho, o
cabo e a ficha.

Desligue o aparelho da corrente
elctrica quando no o vai utilizar e
antes de proceder sua limpeza.
Deixe-o arrefecer antes de o limpar.

No toque no aparelho durante o
funcionamento. Utilize as pegas para o
manusear.
Nunca puxe pelo cabo, para tirar a ficha
da tomada elctrica.
No abandonar o aparelho quando est
em funcionamento e mantenha-o fora do
alcance das crianas ou incapacitados.
Evite que o cabo toque nas partes
quentes do aparelho.
No utilize nenhum aparelho quando
o cabo ou a ficha no estejam em
perfeitas condies, quando o mesmo
no funcione devidamente ou que
esteja danificado de qualquer forma.
Leve o aparelho a um servio tcnico
autorizado para que o possam examinar,
reparar ou ajustar.
Se o cabo deste aparelho estiver
danificado, dirija-se a um Centro de
Assistncia tcnico autorizado para que
o substituam.
No caso de avaria e/ou defeitos de
funcionamento, desligue aparelho sem
tentar repar-lo. Dirija-se a um Centro
de Assistncia tcnica autorizado e
solicite que sejam utilizadas peas e
acessrios originais.
Se decidir deixar de utilizar o parelho,
definitivamente, depois de o desligar
da tomada, conveniente inutiliz-lo,
retirando o cabo de alimentao.
No utilize objectos metlicos sobre
as placas elctricas, j que poderia
danificar a cobertura anti-aderente.
Este aparelho no se destina a ser
utilizado por pessoas (incluindo crianas)
com capacidades fsicas, sensoriais ou

5. FUNCIONAMENTO
1. Coloque o aparelho sobre uma
superfcie estvel, deixando espao
suficiente volta do mesmo e ligue-o
rede elctrica, com a tampa na posio

2. Prepare os ingredientes para tostar a
sandwich. Por cada sandwich, necessita
de duas fatias de po com o respectivo
recheio. Para que doure correctamente,
conveniente untar ligeiramente com
manteiga, as partes exteriores do po
(as que esto em contacto com as
placas).
3. Ao fim de 5 minutos, aproximadamente,
o piloto verde apagar-se-, indicando
que as placas alcanaram a temperatura
correcta para iniciar a tostar. Enquanto
tosta, o piloto verde acende-se e apaga-
se em intervalos regulares, indicando os
ciclos do termstato; o piloto vermelho
manter-se- aceso durante todo o
tempo em que estiver a tostar, indicando
que o aparelho est ligado rede
elctrica.

7. CONSELHOS PARA UMA MELHOR
REALIZAO DAS SUAS SANDWHICHES
Aquea sempre as placas antes de colocar
as sandwiches.
Recomendamos a utilizao de po de
forma especial para sandwiches.
No ponha acar no po, j que este
tem tendncia para se queimar. Se for
necessrio, junte o acar depois.
Quando utilizar queijo na realizao das
sandwiches, conveniente que o faa com
fatias finas de queijo mole.
Recomendamo-lhe que comece com
tempos de 3 minutos e v aumentando ou
diminuindo os tempos, em funo do seu
gosto pessoal.
6. LIMPEZA
Para proceder limpeza do aparelho,
desligue-o sempre e espere que as placas
arrefeam.
Utilize um pano hmido, esponja ou escova
suave para limpar o interior e o exterior.
No utilize detergentes nem produtos
abrasivos para no riscar as placas.
A limpeza, mais fcil, se for efectuada
quando as placas estiverem mornas.
NUNCA COLOQUE A SANDWICHEIRA NA
GUA NEM DEBAIXO DA TORNEIRA.
8. INFORMAO PARA A GESTO
CORRECTA DOS RESDUOS DE

aparece a marcao que se apresenta
como advertncia da no utilizao
de contentores tradicionais para a sua
eliminao.

Read all instructions carefully and keep
them for future reference.
After removing the packaging, check
that the product is in first-class
condition. If you have any doubts, do
not use the appliance and contact an
authorised Technical Assistance Centre.
The plastic bags in which the product is
wrapped should be kept out of the reach
of children as they constitute a possible
health hazard.
Before using the sandwich maker, check
that the voltage of the domestic power
supply corresponds to that indicated on
the appliance.

is switched on, the inside surfaces can
reach extremely high temperatures and
can cause serious burns. Do not touch
the appliance while it is switched on.
Use the handles to move or adjust its
position.

to unplug the appliance.

while switched on and keep it well out of
the reach of children or disabled people.
Do not let the cable come into contact with

4. BEFORE USING FOR
THE FIRST TIME
Before using the appliance for the first time:
Clean the inside surfaces with a damp
cloth and leave to dry.
When the inside surfaces are dry, grease
them lightly with vegetable oil.

1. Place the appliance on a stable surface,
leaving sufficient room around the edges
and plug it in with the lid closed. The red
and green pilot lights will come on.
2. Prepare the ingredients you wish to
toast. For each sandwich you will
need two slices of bread plus their
corresponding filling. To achieve a
golden brown toasting lightly butter the
bread on the side that will be in contact
with the hot surfaces.
3. After about 5 minutes the green pilot
light will go off, indicating that the
sandwich maker has reached the correct
temperature. During the toasting process
the green pilot light will come on and
go off at regular intervals indicating the
cycles of the thermostat. The red pilot
light will remain lit throughout the entire
toasting process, indicating that the
appliance is plugged in.
4. Lift the lid and place the sandwich(es)
in the sandwich maker taking care not
to burn your fingers. Close the lid and
carefully click the lock (3) onto the lower
handle (4) (fig.2).
The sandwich maker can toast either
one or two sandwiches.
5. After approximately 3 or 4 minutes
(depending on how well done you wish
your sandwich to be), the sandwiches
will be ready to serve.
Open the lid and carefully remove the
sandwiches, taking care not to burn
your fingers. We recommend that you
use a wooden spatula. Do not use sharp
instruments as they can damage the
non-stick coating of the inside surfaces.

6. CLEANING
To clean the sandwich maker always
unplug the appliance and wait until the
surfaces have cooled.
Use a damp cloth, sponge or soft brush
to clean both the inside and outside of the
appliance.
Do not use detergents or abrasive materials
which may scratch the inside surfaces.
Cleaning is easier if carried out while the
inside surfaces are still warm.
NEVER PLACE THE SANDWICH MAKER IN
WATER OR HOLD IT UNDER A RUNNING
TAP.
7. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR
A MAKING BETTER TOASTED
SANDWICH
Always ensure the inside is properly heated
before inserting the sandwiches.
We recommend the use of sliced bread
designed especially for sandwiches.
Do not sprinkle sugar over the bread, as it
tends to burn. It should be added later.
The cheese used in your sandwiches
should be soft and finely sliced.
We recommend starting with a cooking
time of 3 minutes which can then be
gradually increased or decreased according
to taste.

4. AVANT LA PREMIRE UTILISATION
Avant dutiliser lappareil pour la premire fois:
Nettoyez les plaques laide dun chiffon
humide ou dune ponge puis laissez scher.
Une fois les plaques sches, talez de lhuile
de salade en lgre quantit.
5. MISE EN MARCHE
1. Placez lappareil sur une surface stable, en
laissant suffisamment despace libre autour

Emmenez lappareil un service technique
agr pour lexaminer, le rparer ou le rgler.
En cas de panne et/ou de mauvais
fonctionnements, teignez lappareil sans
essayer de le rparer. Adressez-vous un
Centre dAssistance Technique agr et
demandez ce que des pices de rechange
ou accessoires dorigine soient utiliss.
Nutilisez pas dustensiles mtalliques sur
les plaques chauffantes tant donn quils
pourraient abmer la plaque revtement
anti-adhsif.
Cet appareil na pas t conu pour son

connaissance; moins de lutiliser sous
surveillance ou aprs avoir t dment

6. NETTOYAGE
Pour procder au nettoyage de lappareil
dbranchez toujours lappareil et attendez que les
plaques deviennent tides.
Utilisez un chiffon humide, une ponge ou brosse
souple pour nettoyer lintrieur et lextrieur de
lappareil.
Nutilisez pas de dtergents ni dlments abrasifs
afin de ne pas rayer les plaques.
7. CONSEILS POUR MIEUX
RALISER VOS SANDWICHES
Chauffez toujours les plaques avant de poser les
sandwiches.
Nous recommandons lutilisation de pain de mie
spcial sandwiches.
Najoutez pas de sucre sur le pain tant donn
quil a tendance brler. Si besoin est, ajoutez-
en aprs.
Lorsque vous utilisez du fromage en ralisant
les sandwiches, il convient que vous le fassiez
laide de tranches fines de fromage pte molle.
Nous vous recommandons de commencer par
des priodes de 3 minutes et daugmenter ou de
diminuer les temps en fonction de votre got.

sandwich. Pour chaque sandwich vous avez
besoin de deux tranches de pain avec les
ingrdients correspondants. Pour le dorer
correctement, il convient dtaler lgrement du
beurre sur les faces extrieures des tranches
de pain (celles qui vont tre en contact avec les
plaques).
3. Au bout de 5 minutes environ, le tmoin vert
steindra en indiquant que les plaques ont
atteint la temprature correcte pour commencer
griller. Pendant que lappareil prpare le
sandwich, le tmoin vert sallumera et teindra
intervalles rguliers en indiquant les cycles
du thermostat ; le tmoin rouge restera allum
pendant toute la dure de prparation, en
indiquant que lappareil est branch au rseau.
4. Levez le couvercle et posez le/les sandwich(es)
en veillant ne pas vous brler. Fermez le
couvercle avec prcaution et accrochez le
cliquet de fermeture (3) la poigne infrieure
(4) fig. 3.
Vous pouvez raliser un seul sandwich si vous
le souhaitez.
5. Au bout de 3 ou 4 minutes environ (tout
dpendra du degr de chaleur que vous
choisissez ), les sandwiches seront dors
point.
Ouvrez le couvercle et retirez les sandwiches
en veillant ne pas vous brler. Utilisez pour
cela une spatule en bois, vitez lutilisation
dustensiles coupants qui pourraient
endommager la surface anti-adhsive des
plaques.
6. Dbranchez lappareil aprs son utilisation et
attendez quil refroidisse avant de le nettoyer ou
de le ranger.
Le nettoyage savre plus facile si vous leffectuez
lorsque les plaques sont encore tides.

Feuchten Tuch oder Schwamm und lassen Sie
sie trocknen.
Wenn die Heizplatten trocken sind, bestreichen
Sie sie bitte mit etwas Salatl.
oder auf irgendeine Weise beschdigt wurden,
drfen nicht benutzt werden. Bringen Sie
das Gert zur Untersuchung, Reparatur oder
Einstellung zu einem zugelassenen Technischen
Kundendienst.
Im Falle eines Schadens und/oder
Betriebsstrung, schalten Sie das Gert bitte
aus und versuchen Sie nicht, es zu reparieren.
Wenden Sie sich an einen zugelassenen
Technischen Kundendienst und achten Sie
darauf, dass nur original Ersatzteile und
Zubehr verwendet werden.
Vermeiden Sie es, die Platten mit
Metallgegenstnden zu berhren, da diese die

5. INBETRIEBNAHME
1. Stellen Sie das Gert auf eine stabile Flche
und achten Sie darauf, dass gengend Platz
rund um das Gert vorhanden ist. Schlieen
Sie den Deckel und stecken Sie den Stecker
in die Netzdose. Die rote und die grne
Anzeigeleuchte leuchten auf.

6. REINIGUNG
Bevor Sie das Gert reinigen, unterbrechen Sie
bitte stets den Netzanschluss und warten Sie, bis
das Gert soweit abgekhlt ist, dass die Platten
lauwarm sind.
Um das Gert von innen und auen zu reinigen,
verwenden Sie bitte ein feuchtes Tuch, einen
Schwamm oder eine weiche Brste.
Verwenden Sie keine Reinigungsmittel oder
scheuernde Gegenstnde, um die Platten nicht zu
verkratzen.
Heizen Sie die Platten stets vor, bevor Sie die
Sandwiches auflegen.
Wir empfehlen die Verwendung von Toastbrot fr
Sandwiches.
Bestreuen Sie das Brot nicht mit Zucker, da dieser leicht
anbrennt. Sollten Sie Zucker auf dem Brot wnschen,
bestreuen Sie es nach dem Toasten.
Wenn Sie die Sandwiches mit Kse belegen, verwenden
Sie bitte feine Scheiben Weichkse.
Wir empfehlen, mit einer Toastzeit von 3 Minuten
zu beginnen und diese Zeit anschlieend je nach
Geschmack zu verlngern oder zu verkrzen.

Die Reinigung ist wesentlich einfacher, wenn die

2. Bereiten Sie die Zutaten vor, um das
Sandwich toasten zu knnen. Fr jedes
Sandwich bentigen Sie zwei Scheiben
Brot und den gewnschten Belag. Um ein
einwandfreies Toasten zu garantieren, mssen
die Aussenseiten der Brote leicht mit Butter
bestrichen werden (die Seiten, die mit den
Heizplatten in Berhrung kommen).
3. Nach ca. 5 Minuten erlischt die grne
Anzeigeleuchte, was bedeutet, dass die
Heizplatten die korrekte Temperatur erreicht
haben, um mit dem Toasten zu beginnen.
Whrend des Taoastvorgangs leuchtet die
grne Lampe in regelmigen Abstnden
auf, und zeigt damit die Thermostatintervalle
an. Die rote Lampe leuchtet whrend des
gesamten Toastvorgangs; sie zeigt an, dass
das Gert ans Netz angeschlossen ist.
4. Heben Sie den Deckel an und legen Sie
das/die Sandwich(es) ein. Achten Sie dabei
darauf, sich nicht zu verbrennen. Schlieen
Sie dann den Deckel und haken Sie den
Verschlussriegel (3) in den unteren Griff (4) ein
(Abb. 2). Wenn Sie es wnschen knnen Sie
ein einziges Toast toasten.
5. Nach ca. 3 oder 4 Minuten (je nach
gewnschtem Brunungsgrad) sind die
Sandwiches fertig.

den Netzanschluss und warten Sie, bis das
Gert abgekhlt ist, um es dann zu reinigen
oder zu verwahren.

4. PRIMA DI USARE L'APPARECCHIO
PER LA PRIMA VOLTA
Prima di usare l'apparecchio per la prima volta:
Pulire le piastre con un straccetto umido o
una spugna e lasciarle asciugare.
Una volta asciutte le piastre, spalmarle
leggermente con un po' d'olio da insalata.
5. ACCENSIONE
1. Sistemare l'apparecchio su una superficie
stabile, lasciando abbastanza spazio
intorno allo stesso ed inserire la spina nella
presa lasciando il coperchio in posizione di
chiuso. Si accendono le spie rossa e verde.
2. Preparare gli ingredienti per il toast. Per
ogni toast sono necessarie due fette di pan

Prima di pulire l'apparecchio staccare
sempre la spina dalla presa ed attendere
che le piastre si raffreddino.
Usare uno straccetto umido, una spugna o
una spazzola morbida per pulire l'interno e
l'esterno dell'apparecchio.

non rigare le piastre.
La pulizia risulta pi facile se si effettua
quando le lastre sono tiepide.

7. CONSIGLI PER PREPARARE DEGLI
OTTIMI TOAST
Riscaldare sempre le piastre prima di
sistemarvi i toast.
Si consiglia di usare pan carr speciale per
toast.
Non cospargere zucchero sul pane
perch tende a bruciarsi. Se necessario,
aggiungerlo dopo.
Per quanto riguarda il formaggio, si
consiglia di usare le sottilette.
Si consiglia di fare le prime prove con un
tempo di 3 minuti e quindi di aumentare
o diminuire il tempo a seconda dei propri

3. Dopo circa 5 minuti, la spia verde si

indicando i cicli del termostato; la spia
rossa resta accesa per tutta la durata del
funzionamento indicando che l'apparecchio
collegato alla rete elettrica.
4. Sollevare il coperchio e appoggiare il/i
toast facendo attenzione a non scottarsi.
Chiudere il coperchio con cura e
agganciare il dispositivo di chiusura (3) al
manico inferiore (4) Fig. 3.

5. Dopo circa 3 o 4 minuti (a seconda del
grado di tostatura richiesto), i toast sono
pronti.
Aprire il coperchio ed estrarre i toast
facendo attenzione a non scottarsi. Per
farlo, usare una spatola di legno ed evitare
l'impiego di utensili taglienti che potrebbero
danneggiare la superficie antiaderente delle
piastre.
6. Dopo l'uso, disinserire la spina
dell'apparecchio dalla presa e attendere
che si raffreddi prima di pulirlo o di riporlo.

Trek de stekker van het toestel uit
wanneer u het niet gebruikt en voordat
u het reinigt. Laat het toestel afkoelen
voordat u het reinigt of bewaart.
Gebruik geen enkel elektrisch toestel
met een versleten kabel of stekker,

Reinig de verwarmplaten met een
vochtige doek of spons en laat drogen.
Smeer de platen wanneer ze droog zijn
lichtjes in met slaolie.
Laat het toestel niet zonder toezicht
wanneer het aan staat en houd het
buiten het bereik van kinderen of
gehandicapten.
Stel het toestel niet bloot aan
weersomstandigheden (regen, zon,
vorst, enz.).
Zet het toestel indien het beschadigd
is of slecht werkt en wanneer u het
niet gaat gebruiken, uit en probeer het
niet te maken. Als het herteld moet
worden, raadpleeg dan enkel een
door de fabrikant erkende Dienst voor
Technische Bijstand en vraag dat ze
originele reserveonderdelen gebruiken.
Gebruik geen metalen voorwerpen
op de verwarmplaten, daar dit de
antiaanbaklaag kan beschadigen.
Dit toestel is niet bestemd voor gebruik
door personen (inclusief kinderen) met
fysieke, zintuiglijke of mentale handicaps
of gebrek aan ervaring of kennis, tenzij
in het geval van toezicht of opleiding
op het gebied van het gebruik van het
toestel door een persoon die instaat
voor hun veiligheid.
Houd kinderen onder toezicht om te
voorkomen dat ze met het toestel
spelen.
Voor verdere bescherming wordt
aangeraden een aardlekschakelaar
(RCD) te installeren met een
werkingsreststroom van hoogstens 30
mA. Raadpleeg uw installateur.

6. REINIGING
Trek voordat u et toestel reinigt de
stekker uit en laat het afkoelen. Reinig de
binnenkant en de buitenkant van het toestel
met een vochtige doek, spons of zachte
borstel. Gebruik geen afwasmiddelen of
bijtende producten om krassen op de
verwarmplaten te vermijden. Het reinigen is
eenvoudiger wanneer de platen nog lauw
zijn. HOUDT HET TOESTEL NOOIT ONDER
WATER OF ONDER DE KRAAN.
8. INFORMATIE VOOR DE JUISTE
VERWERKING VAN AFGEDANKTE
ELEKTRISCHE EN ELEKTRONISCHE
TOESTELLEN
Op het einde van de
levensduur van het toestel
mag dit niet samen me het
algemene huishoudafval
worden weggegooid.
U kunt het gratis naar
hiertoe bestemde en door
de plaatselijke overheid aangewezen
verzamelpunten of naar verdelers die deze
dienst verlenen, brengen. Een afgedankt
elektrisch huishoudtoestel afzonderlijk
verwerken, betekent eventuele negatieve
gevolgen vermijden voor het milieu en
de gezondheid ten gevolge van een
ongepaste verwerking. Bovendien kunnen
de materialen waaruit het toestel bestaat
zo worden behandeld en hergebruikt,
wat tot een aanzienlijke energie- en
grondstoffenbesparing leidt.
Om de verplichting tot medewerking
met een selectieve afvalverwerking te
benadrukken, bevat het product het
merkteken dat er op wijst dat het toestel
niet in traditionele afvalcontainers mag
worden gegooid.

2. Bereid de ingredinten voor om de
tosti te roosteren. Voor elke tosti
hebt u twee sneden brood met het
overeenkomstige beleg nodig. Smeer de
tosti aan de buitenkant (contact met de
verwarmplaten) lichtjes in met boter om
goudbruin te roosteren.
3. Na ongeveer 5 minuten gaat het groene
controlelampje uit. Dit betekent dat de
verwarmplaten de juiste temperatuur
hebben bereikt. Tijdens het roosteren
gaat het groene controlelampje
regelmatig aan en uit, wat overeenstemt
met de cycli van de thermostaat. Het
rode controlelampje blijft altijd opgelicht,
wat aangeeft dat de stekker van het
toestel is aangesloten op het lichtnet.
4. Open het deksel en plaats de tosti(s) op
de verwarmpla(a)t(en). Wees voorzichtig
dat u zich niet verbrandt. Sluit het deksel
voorzichtig en bevestig de sluitklem (3)
aan de onderste handgreep (4). Zie afb.
3. U kunt desgewenst slechts n tosti
maken.
5. Na ongeveer 3 of 4 minuten (afhankelijk
van hoe u uw tosti wenst) zijn de tostis
klaar. Open het deksel en haal de tostis
van de verwarmplaat. Wees voorzichtig
dat u zich niet verbrandt. Gebruik
hiervoor een houten spatel en vermijd
het gebruik van scherp keukengerei dat
de antiaanbaklaag van de platen kan
beschadigen.
6. Trek na gebruik de stekker van het
toestel uit en laat het afkoelen voordat u
het reinigt of opbergt.
7. TIPS VOOR HEERLIJKE TOSTIS
Laat de verwarmplaten steeds opwarmen
voordat u de tostis plaatst. We raden
speciaal tostibrood aan. Strooi geen suiker
op de tostis. Suiker kan verbranden. Voeg
desgewenst nadien suiker toe.
Als u kaas gebruikt voor uw tostis, gebruik
dan fijne plakjes zachte kaas. We raden aan
met 3 minuten te beginnen en naargelang
uw smaak de bereidingstijd te verhogen of
te verlagen.
