Warasinee Apirakdahcarchai ID 5080048 ICSC302 Project REPORT What is the relationship between bird and dinosaur?

First of all we have to look at cosmic calender to see who came first. From this we can see that dinosaur came before bird. We mean bird came how came from some species to meet the theory of evolution..

Now, let's look back 65 million years ago. What had happen to the Dinosaur. There are 2 theories. Some believe tit is because of gradualistic (the change of biological evolution)or, catastrophic (the extraterrestrial impact hypothesis). By combining 2 theories gradualistic and catastrophic. I can claim that who died are the one who live in the shallow water marine animal because the level of sea had fallen due to the climate change that make the air cool down (which go to the ice age era). For some species that were lucky too live evolve into the species to adapt with the new climate and atmosphere. Now, let's talk about dinosaur era or Mesozoic era. This era is divided into 3 periods which are Triassic period, Jurassic period and Cretaceous period. In Triassic period, dinosaur were small. They are most predator. The climate was hot and the land was dry. In Jurassic period, dinosaurs got bigger. Some species were huge. There were then forest in this period. Lastly, the period that we will focus about, Cretaceous period, many dinosaurs were found to have feather on them, raptor is the best example. Look back again 65 million years ago, Asteroid impact the earth and most dinosaurs were wiped out. Asteroid Personally I dont believe it is extinct. I believe many had dies some were lucky to survive. Then one who survive then now change to be other species according to the rule of evolution. Now i'm would like to classify dinosaur into two main categories, which are the four-legged dinosaur which evolve to be lizard and two-legged dinosaur which evolve to be bird. Four-legged dinosaurs can be either huge and small. I believe that the one who died out are the one who was huge. This is because the are slow. The one were small was lucky to survive but anyway they need to evolve into another species to fit with the new climate and atmosphere. Two-legged dinosaurs, their two hand were useless. If the T-rex fell it might be able to break

their own rib. Because the body is too heavy. So it is not perfect predator after all even though it will chase after you. In Cretaceous period, sone believe that dinosaur start to have feature like a bird. Some said that The early bird is so dinosaur-like. Archaeopteryx, the first good example of a "feathered dinosaur", was discovered in 1861. The initial specimen was found in the solnhofen limestone in southern Germany, which is a lagersttte, a rare and remarkable geological formation known for its superbly detailed fossils.Archaeopteryx is a transitional fossil, with features clearly intermediate between those of modern reptiles and birds. later on more and more dinosaur feather were to be found and the prove of the link between bird and dinosaur is getting stronger. Moreover the lung Comparison between the air sacs of Majungasaurus and a bird Large meat-eating dinosaurs had a complex system of air sacs similar to those found in modern birds, and they even sleep like one(posture). There bone structure are very similar and they both laid eggs. In conclusion, I could say that some dinosaurs that were lucky to survive evolve to be bird in these modern day. Evidence, studies and research are shown above. Every spicy in modern day must be some how evolve from some other species that may or may not have been extinct.
