2. Instalao do Citrix Presentation Server

2.1 Requerimentos para instalao do ambiente Citrix Presentarion Server 4.0
Windows 2000 Server (Server, Advanced Server, or Datacenter Server) with Service Pack 4 Windows Server 2003 (Standard, Enterprise, or Datacenter Edition) with Service Pack 1 400MB for MetaFrame Presentation Server, Enterprise Edition 50MB for the Management Console for MetaFrame Presentation Server 25MB for the Management Console for the MetaFrame Access Suite 35MB for the Document Center Java Runtime Environment Version 1.4.2_06. (Este e instalado durante o processo de instalao) Microsoft Windows Installer (MSI) 3.0. (Este e instalado durante o processo de instalao) NET Framework Version 1.1 with Service Pack 1. (Este e instalado durante o processo de instalao)

NOTE: Do not install .NET Framework Version 2.0 on systems you wish to run the Access Suite Console.

2.2 Presentation Server 4.0 (Primeira Instalao)

Este tpico descreve o procedimento de instalao do primeiro servidor Presentation Server 4.0 do Farm. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Insire o Presentatio Server 4.0 Server CD, na unidade CD-ROM do servidor. Click em Product installations and updates. Click em Install MetaFrame Presentation Server 4.0 and its components. Selecionar a opo I accept the license agreement e role a barra de rolagem ate o final, o click em Next >. Na tela Prerequisites Installation, click em Next> Na tela Componente Selection, desmarque o item e Web Interface. Click em Next >. Na tela Welcome to the Citrix Metaframe Access Suite Licensing Setup, Click Next >. Na tela Destination Folder, deixar como default C:\Program Files\Citrix e click em Next >. Na tela Select Features, click em Next >.

10. Na tela License Files Location, deixar como default C:\Program Files\Citrix\Licensing\Myfiles\ e click em Next >. 11. Na tela Web Server Selection, selecionar a opo Microsoft Internet Information Services(IIS) e Click em Next >. 12. Na tela Restart Microsoft IIS Server, selecionar a opo OK to restart Microsoft IIS Server e Click em Next >. 13. Na tela Ready to Install the Appliation, click em Next >. 14. Click em Finish .

15. Na tela Welcome to the Metaframe Presentation Server Administration Snap-in Installation Wizard, click em Next > para dar continuidade na instalao. 16. Na tela Destination Folder, deixar como default C:\Program Files\Citrix e click em Next >. 17. Na tela Select Snap-ins, click em Next >. 18. Na tela Ready to Install the Appliation, click em Next >. 19. Click em Finish. 20. Na tela Welcome to the Metaframe Presentation Server Setup, click em Next > para dar continuidade na instalao. 21. Na tela Product Edition Selection, selecionar a opo Enterprise Edition e click em Next >. 22. Na tela Component Selection, click em Next >. 23. Na tela Pass-through Autentication for the Pass-through Client, selecionar a opo No. Click em Next >. 24. Na tela Create or Join a Server Farm, selecionar a opo Create a new farm. Click em Next >. 25. Na tela Create a Server Farm, em Farm name: digite o nome da Farm e selecione Use the following database on a separate database server para selecionar em que base de dados o Presentation Server 4 vai trabalhar, clique na segunda opo e selecione SQL Server. Por default deixamos o item Use default zone name selecionado, click em Next >. 26. Na tela Create a New Data Source to SQL Server, no item Description: digite Data Store Citrix e no item Server selecionar o <servidor SQL Server>. Click em Next > . 27. Selecione o item With SQL Server authentication using a login ID and password entered by the user. Em Login ID: <usurio do SQL> e Password: <password SQL>. Click Next >, para avanar. 28. Marque a opo Change the default database to, selecione na barra de rolagem a base de dados <DATABASE-DataStore Citrix> e click Next >. 29. Click Finish. 30. Click em Test Data Source... para testar a conectividade com a base de dados SQL. 31. Click OK, aps a resposta de TEST COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY!. 32. Click OK. 33. Na tela Assign Farm administrator credentials, no item User name: digite o administrador do Citrix Presentation Server e Domain: <dominio> ou <local>. Click em Next >. 34. Na tela Metaframe Access Sute Licensing Settings, selecione o item Enter the host name for the machine hosting your Metaframe Access Sute license Server, em Host name: digitar o nome do servidor que vai gerenciar as licenas citrix. Click em Next >. 35. Na tela No license found, selecione Continue the product installation without installing license. Click em Next >. 36. Na tela Configure shadowing, selecione Allow shadowing of users sessions on this server

e selecione os dois ultimos check boxes Force a shadow acceplance popup e log all shadow connections. Click em Next >. 37. Na tela Configure Citrix XML Service Port, selecione Use a separate port e em TCP/IP Port: digite 8080. Click em Next >. 38. Na tela Add users to Remote Desktop Users group, selecione Add the list of users from the Users group now. Click em Next >. 39. Click em Finish. 40. Na tela Citrix Metaframe Presentation Server for Windows has been successfully installed., desmarque todas as opes e click em Close. 41. Na tela Welcome to the Management Console for Metaframe Presentation Server 4.0 Installation Wizard, click em Next >. 42. Na tela Ready to Install the Appliation, click em Next >. 43. Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 (Demais Servidores)

Este tpico descreve o procedimento de instalao para os demais servidores Presentation Server 4.0 do Farm. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. Insire o Presentatio Server 4.0 Server CD, na unidade CD-ROM do servidor. Click em Product installations and updates. Click em Install MetaFrame Presentation Server 4.0 and its components. Aps a instalao dos Servidores Citrix, foram extraidos do site da citrix e aplicados os seguintes Hotfixes seguindo a ordem abaixo:

Hotfix Rollup Pack PSE400W2K3R02 - For Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 for Windows Server 2003. Hotfix PSE400R02W2K3040 - For Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 for Windows Server 2003. Hotfix PSE400R02W2K3042- For Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 for Windows Server 2003. ASC400W006 For Access Suite Console for MetaFrame Presentation Server 4.0 for Windows 2000 and 2003

Citrix License Management Console

Clique em Start / Programs / Citrix / Management Consoles / License Management Console; Clique em Configure License Server; Clique em Step 2 : copy license file to this license server Clique em Browser Selecione c:\Pasta$\license_20051228134356.lic, e clique em Upload Clique em Current Usage e verifique se aparece o nmero correto de licenas.

3. Tunning e Customizaes
Este captulo descreve o tunning para melhorar a performance do ambiente Citrix Presentation Server 4.0 da Rede Globo e customizaes .

Policies aplicadas
Criao da Citrix universal Printer (NO OBRIGATORIO FAZER SOMENTE SE FOR USAR A UNIVERSAL PRINTER) Click em Start / Run e digite regedit.exe. Adicionar a seguinte chave no registry do servidor, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\Print. Criar uma DWORD DefaultPrnFlags, com o seguinte valor 0x00000020. Click em Start / Programs / Citrix / Presentation Server Console. Click com boto direito em policy, selecionar Create policy e crie uma new policy Print Universal. Click em Printing / Client Printers /Auto-Creation, marque enable e selecione em When connecting o item Do not auto-create client printers. Click Apply. Click em Printing / Session printers, marque enable e click OK.

Citrix Connection Configuration

Click no 3 cone Citrix connection configuration, localizado na Toolbar Presentation Server. Click duplo em ica-tcp. Click em Advanced e configure os seguintes itens: 1. Em Disconnection Timeout Settings (in minutes), desmarque os itens Inherit User Disconnection Timeout e No Disconnection Timeout. Em Disconnection Timeout: digite o valor 5 . Em Ide Timeout Settings (in minutes), desmarque os itens Inherit User Idle Timeout e No Ide Timeout. Em Ide Timeout: digite o valor 30 . Em On a broken or timed-out connection, desmarque inherit use config e selecione reset. Em Reconnect sessions disconnected, desmarque inherit use config e selecione from this client only. Em Shadowing, desmarque inherit user config e selecione is enable, input ON, notify ON. Click OK.

Click Client Settings e configure os seguintes itens: 1. Em Connection, desmarque inherit user config.

Em Client Mapping Overrides, marque somente o Disable Client Audio Mapping. Click OK.

Click em ICA Settings e configure o Client Audio Quality para Low. Click OK.

Customizao do Sistema
Segue algumas configuraes de devem ser implementadas nos Servidores MetaFrame para uma melhor performance. Clique em Start -> Settings -> Control Painel ->Automatic Updates Desabilite a opo Keep My computer up to date. Clique em Start-> Settings-> Control Painel->System -> Advanced Em Performance, clique em Settings: Na tab Visual Effects, selecione <Adjust For Best Performance> Na Tab Advanced Em Processor Scheduling, selelcione <Background services> Em Memory Usage, selecine <Programs> Virtual Memory Clique em change Especifique : Initial size (MB) : 4096 Maximum size (MB) : 4096 Clique em Set Em Startup and Recovery, clique em Settings: System failure, marque Automatically restart Em Write debugging information, selecione None Em Control Painel -> Licernsing, selecione Per Device or Per User. Em NetWork and Dial-Connections: Clique em Properties no cone Local Area Conection: Duplo clique em File and Printer Sharing For Microsoft NetWorks: Selecione Maximize data troughput for network applications. Clique em OK->OK. Configure a placa de rede para 100 Mbps Full Duplex. Clique em Data/Time-> Time Zone e desabilite a opo automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes. Clique OK

Standard and Formats: Portuguese (Brazil) Clique em Customize Na tab Date: Short date format: DD/MM/YYYY Clicar em OK Location: Brazil Na tab Languages Text services and input languages, clique em Details Em Installed Services, adicione: Portuguese(Brazil) Brazilian ABNT2 United-States International Em Default input language, especifique: Portuguese (Brazil) Portuguese (Brazilian ABNT2) Clicar em OK Configuraes da Barra de Tarefas e Menu Iniciar Na tab Start Menu: Selecione Classic Start Menu, clique em Customize Desmarque: Display Run Enable dragging and dropping Use Personalized Menus

Copiar a pasta para o Default User o L.ogar com um usurio diferente do que usado nas configuraes acima. o Na rea de trabalho clicar com o boto da direita no cone MyComputer- Properties Advanced. No quadro User profiles clique no boto Settings o No quadro Profiles Stored on this computer selecione o usuario que voc criou e depois clique no boto copy to o No quadro copy profiles to clique no boto browser e selecione a pasta
