INTRODUCTION In this experiment we implemented the Boolean expressions using the logic gates and verified their truth tables. Functions are, F1 = a.b.c + a.b.c F2 = (a + b + c) (a + b) EQUIPMENT USED Bred Board ICs 7404, 7408, 7400, 7402 & 7432 Connecting Wires Trainer Kit having DC Power Supply Input Switches & Output LEDs

PROCEDURE The procedure for this experiment was very simple. The pin configuration for each IC was observed from the chart. The ICs were placed on the Bred Board as shown in circuit diagram shown. +5 V DC was given to pin 14 of each IC and pin 7 of each IC was grounded. Using connecting wires, each IC was connected to the input switches as well as the output LEDs. Following are the observed and the actual truth tables for the functions. In the fig 01 led 01 shows the F1 and led 02 shows the F2. At the end the circuit was made using NAND and NOR gates only and verified the truth tables.
