The Little Brown Book

A Physicians Guide to Mental Health Resources for Children and Adolescents in Houston and the Surrounding Areas
2009

Dear Physician, During my training as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow, I had many parents inquiring about referral information for various mental health services. It was then that I realized the need for referral services to be available for physicians in a convenient and concise manner. When I was awarded the American Psychiatric Association SAMHSA Minority Fellowship, I decided to use the funding to produce a resource material that is designed specially for physicians in the community. I hope you find this information to be a useful resource for you and your staff in aiding your patients needs. Sincerely,

Ayanna Brown, MD
