As the industry pioneer of truly independent ONT solutions, TXPs standards based ONT family brings world class features and tremendous flexibility to carrier GPON deployments, while offering the broadest array of proven OLT interoperability.
Based on widely available System-on-a-Chip (SoC) architectures that yield superior performance over older proprietary FPGAbased designs, TXPs GPON ONTs offer an unparalleled feature set, all provided through a single downloadable software image from any OLT platform. Ethernet
The 7356G SFU supports data services through a 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet interface via RJ-45 connector. It meets IEEE 802.3 specifications and supports full and half duplex modes.
Optical
The 7356G SFU supports network connectivity through an SC/APC fiber connector. This interface supports 1550 nm for video overlay, 2.488 Gbps 1490 nm optical downstream network services traffic and 1.244 Gbps 1310 nm optical upstream data bursts per ITU-T G.984.2 Amd 1 Class B+ optics with power leveling capability.
POTS
The 7356G SFU supports basic telephone service through two POTS interfaces. Each interface is supported by an RJ-11 and an IDC connector.
Video
The 7356G SFU supports CATV RF-video service through a single F-Type coaxial connector.
RF Return
TXPs RF return implementation is fully integrated in the ONT and is compliant with ITU-T standards for three wavelength GPON deployments, as well as SCTE 55-1 and 55-2 standards that support Set Top Boxes (STBs) from the two major manufacturers.
