INTRODUCTION The Reading Program aims to cultivate pupils' interest in reading and expose them to read books of different genre. It also provides opportunities for pupils to listen to good spoken English as the teachers read the stories aloud to them during the library periods. To carry out this program, teachers has purchased a range of books that are recommended for the different levels .These books are for the teachers to use as read-aloud books. They learn to express themselves confidently and clearly in a range of situations. We consider it essential that they are taught to listen carefully to others and to evaluate what they hear. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The objectives and aims of reading program are to develop the readers as a means of communicating ideas. All students are expected to read and write in a variety of ways for different purposes and audiences: stories, poems, dialogues and diaries to name just a few. Handwriting practice is undertaken regularly and all children learn to use a cursive script. We encourage all the students to participate in this schools reading program. Another objective of undertaking an extensive reading approach is to get students reading in English and liking it. An increase in reading fluency should be another objective. Because of this, reading should be a pleasurable activity for the student, promoted as much as possible by the teacher. These programs aim the students to communicate with the written and oral English language, knowledge and proficiency in English in daily activities within and outside the school. Establish positive relationships with all parties, especially beneficiary students in an effort to help improve students motivation. Beside that is inculcate reading habit and care of books in children, teach them how to use books and library, sensitize the public about the activities of the board and encourage students to involve the program.

DURATION OF PROGRAMME 6 months. In this case, students begin this program for the first week every month. (Jan Jun) TARGET GROUP The target group is confusion all pupils in year 4, 5 and 6. The pupils have a mastery of the stage is weak in English that they haven't mastered the English word reading proficiency .This program is targeted on students aged 10 12.It is believed that a students should start developing voluntary reading habit from 4 years old and such child could be encouraged to read effectively as he/she grows up to adulthood. REPORT ON IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMME These programmed had achieved the objectives mentioned. However, there are few activities that should to improve. For examples, for activities that involve group, it had tendency for weaker students to be as a follower. They tend to follow all the others decisions. So, for future we suppose to reduce the quantity of members in each group. However, after implement these programs, few pupils showed their confident to communicate in front of public and able to deliver their thought with no hesitant. They are also showed their interest to read and write more then before. Their general knowledge also increases tremendously.

STRENGTHS OF PROGRAMME 1. Motivate by story of your own - let children see the writing process in action. 2. Children may share a few starting ideas, but not 'morning talks' and start writing drafts in their language book. 3. Encourage children to write as 'if they were there', back 'in' the situation. 4. The teacher roves, interacting, diagnosing needs, extending, refining, valuing.

WEAKNESS OF PROGRAMME Students feel that reading a textbook was always considered to be difficult. They do not want to read because they did not know the book, and they also do not want to read because mastery of Malay and English they are weak. Students are more interested in reading a memorandum that teachers provide or nota commercial. To them, this may warrant graduation brilliant and this is what is being encouraged by a teacher, mother and father. SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS This Reading Program needs to be extended to three more aspects of the language proficiency of hearing, speech and writing proficiency. It is because it can provide a more thorough description of the problem and the completion of lesson .In addition, it can make a positive impression to all English teachers but what is more important is it can improve the mastery of the pupils. This Program needs to be passed on to improve the mastery of the English Language reading proficiency for weaker students in another stage anyway. The Program also makes the teachers always think positive, critical, creative and innovative as well as always flexible in teaching and learning with the more memorable.

CONCLUSION

No doubt, this program has succeeded in attracting large group of children each year. So, we can take these advantages and implement these programs to enhance our student knowledge. Students also may use these programs to improve their self confidence in front audience especially. Students must not be regarded as having a learning difficulty solely because the language or medium of communication of the home is different.

REPORT ON IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMME Good teacher really enjoy helping students learn `how to learn` the process of learning, the strategies involved in any task, are as important as the outcomes. Every interaction with a teacher ought to leave the students more in control, more independent and more aware of the need for them to achieve their personal best. WEAKNESSES OF PROGRAMME Students still get nervous when speaking in front of group or audience. They need to speak in front of group and give presentation. Do not be afraid of speaking in front the public. Sometimes they do not focus while training action song with their friend. But, when they identify problem, they actively take action to correct it. Beside that self confidence is good but when they are too confident, they stop learning or practice. It is not good for them.

SUGGESTIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS The students begin by identifying the characters and their actions within the song and then discuss the issues or meaning present in the song. Children are natural movers and shakers and the rhythms and beats of music can be magical. When accompanied by appropriate actions that involve the body and mind, action songs can be effective teaching tool for colors, shapes and counting. Why teach action song?
