How to Purchase Finale Academic/Theological Edition

If you are a: Student Private Music Teacher Faculty Member Church Representative and want to purchase Finale Academic, fill out the form below and send it to MakeMusic with payment. This product is intended exclusively for the use of qualified faculty, college students, music ministers and music ministry representatives. Only qualified buyers may purchase this product. Purchase by or transfer to others is prohibited. Refer to the chart below for qualifications.

To purchase this product:

1. Provide MakeMusic with current identification verifying your academic qualifications or theological status.
If you are a:
College or University

You must be:

Fully accredited and nonprofit, with degreegranting programs. Fully accredited and nonprofit.

And must provide:

An institutional purchase order or institutional check. An institutional purchase order or institutional check. A photocopy of a current dated photo ID issued by the school that employs you or another photo ID and a letter verifying current employment on original school letterhead from the schools administration. Proof of nonprofit status and tax-exempt number and a letter on official letterhead defining the buyer as the churchs official representative. A photocopy of a current dated photo ID issued by the school you attend or another photo ID and a current fee statement.

Pre-College School (K-12 in the US) Faculty Member

Currently teaching at a college, university, or pre-college school as defined above. If outside of the US or Canada, you must be employed full time.

Religious Institution, Music Minister or Music Ministry Representative

Nonprofit with a separate house of worship or currently employed by a church or other religious institution. Currently enrolled in a degree program at a college or university as defined above. If outside of the US or Canada, you must be enrolled full time. A current member of the MTNA. MENC or other professional music educator association.

College Student

Private Music Teacher

Proof of your current membership: Associationissued membership card or letter of acceptance.

US Government: schools abroad or music groups in branches of the military.

An institutional purchase order or institutional check.

For exceptionally talented middle and senior high school music students, and music therapists employed in fully accredited hospitals or care facilities, exceptions to MakeMusics qualification requirements are granted by MakeMusics Customer Support department on a case-by-case basis. Letters of recommendations from their teacher(s), plus a photocopy of a current dated school ID are required for student candidates. Requests for music therapists must be on institutional letterhead and be accompanied by a photocopy of candidates institutional ID or copy of the therapists credentials.

2. Complete and sign the Purchase Agreement below at the time of your purchase. Fax or mail the completed Agreement to MakeMusic (Institutions: Complete one Purchase Agreement per unit purchased.) 3. If you have tax exempt status, fax your tax exempt certificate along with the completed Agreement to MakeMusic 4. When Finale arrives, follow instructions inside the box to register Finale.

Limits on Transfer and Support

This product is for the use of the original purchaser only and may not be transferred to others. The original purchaser must register this product in order to qualify for technical support and upgrade privileges.
