INTRODUCTION
Fireproofing is a fire protection system that is applied to prevent fire damage to commercial, residential and industrial structures. The fundamental purpose of fire protection systems is to prevent the passage and spread of smoke and fire from one area of the building to another and to allow safe escape of the building occupants. It also prevents / reduces the amount of damage to the building structures, neighbouring structures and reduces the risk of collapse for the emergency services. Over and above these are the commercial reasons for the use of fire protection systems, is to reduce the amount of damage and prevent collapse of the building that can help to: < < < Reduce the possible risk to the fire fighters. Reduce the rising cost of insurance polices. Protect capital investment.

Fire retardants are a form of passive fire protection that are extensively used where there is a legal requirement to provide a fire safe environment for the public. Buildings and transportation used by the public are the major areas where fire retardant products are utilized. They help in: < < Delaying the collapse of the building structure. READYPLAST FIRE RESISTANT MORTAR

High Strength Fire Resistant Mortar For Underground Concrete Support Structures
DESCRIPTION READYPLAST FIRE RESISTANT MORTAR is a fire resistant mortar system having an insulating filler named Vermiculite that has a property of expanding at higher temperatures and heat insulating property. Due to its high insulation property and spray applied benefits it can be applied in relatively thin layers. It is used at concrete temperatures <380 oC and steel o reinforcement temperatures <250 C.

FAIRCOAT FR
Water Based Fire Retardant Coating DESCRIPTION FAIRCOAT FR coating is a ready to use, water based fire retardant coating that minimizes fire propagation and spread of flame fire protection on internal timber substrates. It is not suitable for surfaces exposed to mechanical stress. It is for interior use only.

BENEFITS < < < < < < Ensures strong adhesion properties. Can be applied over sound existing coatings without loss of performance. Non-hazardous and environment friendly. Can be applied over sound existing coatings. Can be overcoated with upto 3 coats of acrylic paint where a decorative finish is required. Insulates against heat, checks fire, prevents propagation of fire and diminishes flue and flue-gas temperature.

USES FAIRCOAT FR is suitable for use in public buildings, schools, housing, shopping centres, restaurants, banks, churches and for walls and ceilings in escape routes where timber or wood derivatives are used. Also used on materials such as softwoods, hardwoods, plywood, pre-painted fibre insulation board, plasterboard, etc., in new and existing structures.

Fig. (a) and (b) shows demonstration of two structures - one with fire retardant coating and one without fire retardant coating. It can be seen that the one with fire retardant coating application is protected and the other is fully damaged.

PACKING AND COVERAGE FAIRCOAT FR is available in 1kg, 5kg and 20kg buckets. Coverage: 4-5m per kg per two coats. However, the coverage depends upon the surface.

High Performance Water Based Intumescent Coating for Steel Structures DESCRIPTION FAIRCOAT INTUMESCENT is a high performance water based intumescent thin film fire protection system specially designed to provide enhanced fire resistant for steel structures. It is a unique combination of intumescent fire protection and an attractive, decorative interior finish. It is based on special blend of acrylic resins that provide optimum resistance to fire propagation. FAIRCOAT INTUMESCENT is supplied in 1, 5 and 20 kg & will have coverage of 4-5m/kg/two Coats (Recommended DFT 200 microns) The coverage of FAIRCOAT INTUMESCENT depends on the surface.

FAIRCOAT Is a smooth protective, decorative & anti-carbonation durable coating, allows surface to breathe with high degree of elasticity. Ideally suitable for protection of concrete structures, gives excellent bonding with concrete substrates. Coverage : 4-5m / kg / two coats. DFT: 200 microns. FAIRCOAT INSULTECH High performance, long lasting, flex thermal, decorative, anti carbonation coating for exterior / interior surfaces. It is an excellent waterproofing coating and gives temperature reduction from 8% to 20%. It covers and seals cracks and enhances the life of the structure.Coverage : 4-5 m / kg/ two coats. SAFECORE CE High build, solvent free flexible epoxy coating. Thixotropic hardwearing and hygienic chemical resistant coating. Good chemical and acid resistance with flexibility. DFT: 400 to 500microns. Coverage : 12-13m per 5 kg. pack per two coats. SAFECORE SF Solvent free epoxy protective & decorative coating for concrete surfaces & steel tanks. It is a thixotropic coating suitable for vertical surfaces, has excellent resistance to abrasion and chemical attack, suitable for potable water, excellent adhesion to concrete and steel surfaces and available in different colours. DFT: 400 to 500 microns/two coats. Coverage : 8-10 m /5 kg pack/ two coats. SAFECORE EP (F) High build and decorative solvent based chemical resistant coating for industrial floor and walls. It can be applied on damp or dry surface has excellent resistance to mild acids and chemicals, good asthetic appearance and available in different colours. Coverage : 12-14m / 5kg pack / two coats. Dry film thickness 175-200 microns.
