Walk-in-Interviews for Project Assistant Level-I&II

Eligible and interested candidates may attend the interview for purely temporary engagement as Project Assistant Level-I, Level-II & Level-III under different externally funded/CSIR Network Project tenable at Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow. Project wise vacancy position and qualifications details are under.

Project Assistant Level II 1 No.) Project No. GAP-229 Job requirement : Molecular Biology work using mice model for tumor Qualification : M.Sc. in Biochemistry. Candidates securing 60% and above aggregate marks will only be considered for interview. Desired qualifications : JRF-LS will be preferred as per DST, New Delhi norms. Upper age limit : 28 years Stipend : 12000.00 per month consolidated. Duration for which to be engaged : for two years. Project Assistant Level I 1 No Project No. GAP-229 Job requirement : Animal handling, Histopathology work Qualification : B.Sc. in Botany. Project Assistant Level II (1 No.) Project No. NWP-0019 Project entitled : Detection and Gene Expression Studies using DNA Microarray Technology for Bioremediation of Hazardous Chemicals. st Qualification : 1 class M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology. Job requirement : To carry out research and development work in the field of microbial metagenomics and recombinant DNA technology experiments Upper age limit : Not more than 28 years Stipend : 10000.00 per month consolidated. Project Assistant Level 1 No.) Project No. CNP-232 Job requirement : Conduct physic-chemical and biological experiments on GRP samples as per ISI 2709,9845 and other national/international guidelines. st Qualification : 1 Class M.Sc in Chemistry with experience of working preferably in the area of plastics for approx. 1 year at CSIR lab/NABL accredited Lab and knowledge of computer operation, preparation of PPT presentation/Documentation etc. Upper age limit : 28years Stipend : 12000.00 per month consolidated. Project Assistant Level 1 No.) Project No. NWP-019 Job requirement : Purification of melanoidin degrading enzyme from bacteria and detoxification of distillery effluent. Zero pollution discharge technique. Qualification : M.Sc. (Biotechnology/Microbiology) Candidates securing 60% and above aggregate-marks will only be considered for interview.
Upper age limit : years Stipend : 10000.00 per month consolidated. Duration for which to be engaged : Till completion of project.

How to apply
Interested candidates for Level I, Level II & Level III position may attend the interview on the fixed date along with duly filled the down loaded application form by attaching the attested copies of all the relevant Certificates etc., and also a passport size photograph may be pasted where the space is provided on the application form. The candidates should also bring their original certificates with themselves on the date of interview. TERMS & CONDITIONS:

1. Age relaxation will be granted up to 5 years in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST and 3 years OBC categories. The positions are purely temporary on contract basis and co-terminus with the sponsored projects. Based on the performance of the candidates in the Interview, a panel of recommended candidates will be formed which may be utilized as and when the requirement arises in the similar field/area in the sponsored projects in future. Further, the above stipends are tentative and the same will be finally decided based in the emoluments in the sponsored project. The number of vacancies is tentative and may increase/decrease. Tentative marks sheets/certificates and results awaited will not be considered. Candidates who strictly fulfill the eligibility/experience and possess the degree/mark sheet in the aforesaid subjects only should apply for the positions. Mere fulfilling minimum qualification will not entail any right for consideration. NO TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing in any influence political or otherwise will be treated as disqualification for the position. Total Tenure as Project Assistant shall not exceed five years in any circumstances. The total tenure of five years shall be calculated as per period spent on one project and/or different projects taken together in IITR or any other lab./instt. of CSIR.
