Description : The project deals with sales analysis system of CAL PORTLAND. The project is implemented with the aim of analyzing and estimating the sales trends. The project includes reports were generated for decision support to various departments of company i.e. the sales departments. The project involved building of business intelligence tools for an enterprise wide Data Warehouse. Informatica was used for Extraction, Transformation and Loading and Report studio for reporting. Responsibilities: Involved in designing Frame Work Models, importing the Meta data from the Data source tables. Involved in gathering/refining requirements from the customers for developing reports. Generated various kinds of reports like List and Cross tab in Report Studio. Created Pie charts, bar charts for graphical representation of the business. Applied different types of Calculations, Filters and Conditions. Applied different types of prompts like text box prompt, value prompt, select and search prompt, date prompts, cascading prompts etc., Worked with Condition Variables to highlight the data based on report requirements. Merck to develop the business intelligence reports on three major therapeutic areas using Cognos Series 8. Involved as Cognos Report Developer in the report development of three major projects Oncology, Transplantation & Infectious Diseases. This position focused on analyzing and developing a variety of Account, Physician, and Summary and Detailed reports, based on District, Territory, FSD and Nationwide using Cognos Suite 8 Responsibilities:

Involved in creating of Framework Manager Metadata models and publishing of packages. Involved in design & development of multiple reports using various templates like list reports, cross-tab reports and chart reports. Created a series of templates, drill-through reports, reports with individual prompts and filters and sectioned reports. Extensively used cascading prompts, drill-through, summaries, conditional formats, grouping and association features to generate efficient and user-friendly reports.
