Worked on team to analyze, design and implement the required changes needed to bring the Commonwealth's Payroll and Time Distribution systems to Y2K compliance. Both systems contained significant numbers of Natural and COBOL modules and required extensive ADABAS updates and conversions. Communication among team members was via thorough use of Microsoft Outlook. Other tools used were Microsoft Access and Excel to track versioning and to report to management. 4/88 to 3/98 Commercial Union Insurance Foxboro, MA Systems Specialist * Designed and developed Agency Receivables on line. Due to the nature of the site, COBOL II and Natural were used to accomplish the task. Assisted in development and programming to break into sectors the company product lines. This was also a Natural/ ADABAS project in which COBOL II was used as well. I led the team that designed, programmed and implemented field office repetitive billing system and collection management system using COBOL and Natural/ADABAS. Interpreted; and either executed programming, or assigned to programmers, users requests. Within the scope of the above project utilized System Design Methodology to accomplish design specifications, work flow, time considerations, personnel allocation and complete life cycle testing.
