Monitor Trunk Status

Start by non-intrusively checking the physical line status of the trunk in both directions. Use this information to easily pinpoint layer 1 problems that will adversely affect VF operation. Problems like impedance mismatch, bad repeaters, etc., are readily detected and resolved. (For more information, see T1 Testing.)

End the Finger Pointing

Unparalleled visibility of both trunk line and call states allows you to quickly ascertain both source and type of problem and easily determine the best solution. In addition to immediate visibility, you will also have a detailed log file that will guarantee that all parties quickly reach the same conclusion.

Place or Answer Calls

Place or answer a call on any channel. Simply plug in your handset and your test set can call and answer on e&m, loop start, and ground start trunks with unmatched simultaneous analysis capabilities. Take total control of your trunks by placing and answering both supervised and unsupervised calls as well as sending wink, ring, and dial signals.

Comprehensive Call State Analysis

Detailed call state and call progress messages as well as detailed error reporting guarantee that you know exactly what is occurring on your line. All signaling is completely decoded according to trunk type and is qualified against industry standards and user-definable parameters.

DTMF Digit Analysis

DTMF digits are detected and displayed with the digit and interdigit time. Common problems such as dialing time-outs, routing, dropped, or corrupted digits can now be quickly resolved.

Wink Analysis
Measure wink time and quickly identify nonstandard timing parameters that prevent a call from being completed.

Capture and Log Signaling Bits for all 24 channels (csv)

Log call status, call states, timestamps, and signaling bits on desired channels. The file is stored to your disk in a spreadsheet format for easy analysis.

User-defined Call Parameters

User defined timing parameters like wink, hit time, etc., allow you to quickly adapt to various trunks.
