BTEC Units - Marking - What needs doing??? Unit Task Current Grade What do you need to do?

To gain M3 - I would give a more in depth response in relation to the three procedures. This should be achieved by giving at least TWO REAL EXAMPLES that occur in a sporting environment, such as your local leisure centre. This would mean that you would need to give two examples for Normal Operating Procedures (NOP), two examples for Emergency Operating Procedures (EOP) and two examples from Staff Training. To gain D2 - Explain advantages and disadvantages for EACH PROCEDURE and then provide your OPINION on each procedure stating WHY they are important and HOW they could be improved further. To gain P5 - I will give you a risk assessment template, which I would like you to complete thoroughly!! Then from this I would like you to REVIEW the assessment in relation to your work experience lesson. You will need to discuss the process in terms of what went well and what didnt go so well. You will nally need to tell me what you would do differently in the future, giving reasons why. T gain M4 - Make sure you complete the following for P5 and in addition to this provide REAL EXAMPLES throughout your review.
By looking at the BTEC Specication (that us teachers use) Im happy that P1 & P2 have been ACHIEVED!! Good Times!! I will conrm with Vanessa though just to make sure!!

To gain P1 - Provide a denition to Personality in your introduction. I would then discuss the different types of theories. These are Martens Schematic View, Psychodynamic Theory, Trait Theory, Situational Approach and Interactional Approach. For the PASS just give an introduction to the above. In this you will also look into Type A & B Personalities as well as Eysneck and Cattells Personality Model (see and use image)

To aid your description you MUST give REAL SPORTING EXAMPLES to aid your understanding. To gain P2 - Provide a denition of Motivation in this next section. Again discuss the types of theories. These are the trait, situational and interactional view, achievement motivation (NAF & NACH) and attribution theory. You will then need to look into the types (intrinsic/extrinsic) with REAL SPORTING EXAMPLES. To gain M1 - You will need to state if SPORTING PERFORMANCE was POSITIVE or NEGATIVE during ALL of your examples. To gain D1 - At the end of each section (Personality and Motivation) you will need to give the good and bad points from each theory and then give your OWN OPINION on which theories most relate to SPORTS PERFORMANCE.
