INTRODUCTION
This lab continues exploration of transistor switching circuits to include CMOS logic gates, latches, and flip-flops. We will perform shift-register and counter circuits using small arrays of flip-flops. The two logic states are designated 0 (low) and 1 (high) and defined electronically by fixed voltage levels. The low-state is usually the reference or ground potential in the circuit, and the high-state is some positive voltage such as +5 V. A logic gate takes one or more logic-level inputs and produces a single logic-level output. The output is also a logic level, so the output of one logic gate can connect to the input of one or more other logic gates.

Digital Multimeter Digital Multimeters are great diagnostic tools used for a variety of jobs. They can be used to diagnose and find electrical faults in automotive and home electrical circuits, appliances, electronic devices and light switches. A digital multimeter is a small handheld device with a digital display and two probes. They are used to touch different parts of a circuit and test it. The results are displayed on the digital readout. A digital multimeter has its own power source. They can test for continuity, voltage, amps, and ohms.

DC Regulated Power Supply These 0-30 Volt/10 Amps DC Regulated Power Supply are made from very high quality raw material which ensures hassle free work performance at its user end. These 0-30 Volt/10 Amps DC Regulated Power Supply are widely finds its applications in various electrical sectors. All electronic equipment include a circuit that converts ac supply into dc supply. The part of equipment that converts ac into dc is called DC power supply. In general at the input of the power supply there is a power transformer. It is followed by a rectifier (a diode circuit)a smoothing filter and then by a voltage regulator circuit., the basic power supply is constituted by four elements viz a transformer, a rectifier, a filter, and a regulator put together. The output of the dc power supply is used to provide a constant dc voltage across the load. 8

Function Generator A function generator is used for producing an output signal which varies as a prescribed mathematical function of an input signal. The generator comprises a bank of like amplifying channels whose inputs are connected in shunt relation, the input signal being applied concurrently to all channels. Each channel includes adjustable gain control means to vary the amplification slope thereof, and means to adjust the breakpoint thereof to vary the input level at which the channel is conductive. The output of each channel is fed through a separate polarity-reversing switch to a common summing amplifier whose output signal is functionally related to the input signal in accordance with the combined slopes of the amplifying channels as determined by their respective polarities

Oscilloscope Cathode Ray Tube

The oscilloscope cathode ray tube (CRT) is a vacuum tube that creates and deflects an electron beam to form a graphical image representing the electrical properties of a circuit. An oscilloscope (Figure 1) is used to test electrical devices by displaying a graph of the voltage between two points in a circuit over time. The CRT (Figure 2) displays this graph. Similar CRTs are used in radar systems, televisions, and computer monitors. This document explains to the beginning engineering or physics student the structure and operating principle of the oscilloscope CRT. A glass tube contains and encloses the oscilloscope CRT in a vacuum. The base of the tube plugs into the oscilloscope, while the other end flares to a large flat area that serves as the screen. An electron gun inside produces an electron beam that passes through two sets of deflection plates before hitting the fluorescent screen to create an image. This device operates by creating and accelerating a beam of electrons with an electric field. Another electric field between the deflection plates directs the beam to the desired location of the display. Finally, the fluorescent screen converts the energy of the electron beam into slowly emitted visible photons. Four main parts make up the oscilloscope CRT: bulb, electron gun, deflection plates, and fluorescent screen.

Flip-flop trainer kit

The Digital Electronic Trainer is intended OMEGA for elementary as well as advance training of digital electronics. The trainer cover regular digital circuits by solder less inter connections through use of 2 mm brass terminations and patch cords. Various clock generators, logic level input / output indicators and DC regulated power supply are in built. The unit housed in sunmica finished wooden box enclosure with provision for safe keeping of mains cord, patch cords and top lid for protection during storage.

Bread Board
A breadboard is a construction base for a one-of-akind electronic circuit, a prototype. Because the solderless breadboard does not require soldering, it is reusable, and thus can be used for temporary prototypes and experimenting with circuit design more easily. Other, often historic, breadboard types don't have this property.
