Academic Projects:
1 . IMPLEMENTING A GRAPHICS EDITOR Duration: 3 months Place : G.S.S.IT ,Bangalore Platform: Turbo C & C++ Deals with the implementation of the full screen graphics editor that works on the dos platform and has all the basic operation for drawing the desired shape and geometrical figures. The editor is a 16-color graphics package with a pixel based editor for drawing anything on a viewport and to perform certain transformation. 2. A PROJECT ON HYBRID INTRUSION DETECTION IN FLOSOLVER DIVISION, NAL This Project was done as a part of my 8th semester curriculum Place: NAL, Bangalore Team Size: 4 Environment: JAVA Description: Deals with the development of an Intrusion Detection System which combines two different IDS systems namely Host-based Intrusion Detection and Network Intrusion Detection Systems into an integrated Hybrid Intrusion Detection System, which detects the threats based on the attack signatures in the database or the rule set. Thus, identifying the threats and intruders in the network and alerts the network administrator so that he can take necessary action based on the organizational policies

3. ST- SEGMENT ANALYSIS USING BIORTHOGONAL WAVELETS This Project is done as a part of my M.Tech curriculum Place: IISC, Bangalore Environment: MATLAB Description: This project reports the ability of detecting the onset of symptoms of myocardial ischemia using electrocardiogram (ECG). The proposed technique for identifying the isoelectric ST segment of an ECG is by using Biorthogonal wavelets and Hidden Markov model. The ST-segment is then compared to an isoelectric baseline, using the PQ segment, which determines if theres a presence of myocardial ischemia. An ST-segment that deviates from the baseline by 0.1mV is a probable myocardial ischemia. Having an ST elevation for more than 30 seconds determines that a myocardial ischemia is present and a patient needs to be alerted. A program based on Matlab software is written to perform the identification of myocardial ischemia. The accuracy of the written code and its ability to detect true positive myocardial ischemia was determined using the ROC analysis.
