Junior recruiter: Primary Responsibilities: 1. Work closely with Hiring Managers to develop position profile and to understand overall needs and requirements. (Description, salary, timing, expectations, etc) 2. Create a comprehensive job description based on hiring manager specifications to be used to present to candidates and to post to job boards and internal gateways. 3. Work with Sourcing Analyst to develop appropriate sourcing strategies for each role. 4. Educate client on the recruiting process and the roles involved in the process 5. With use of Enterprise applicant tracking technology and innovative recruiting tools, review and select candidates to move forward from the slate presented by sourcing efforts, determine and instruct next course of action. 6. Develop and Manage strong consultative relationships with hiring managers and candidates. 7. Solicit and document hiring manager and candidate feedback throughout the interview process. 8. Disposition all candidates personally contacted in recruiting cycle (phone screen or higher manager interview). Secondary Responsibilities: 1. Participate in recruitment knowledge sharing and best practices. 2. Manage the recruiting process to meet hiring goals through the use of effective resource management and effective use of Enterprise applicant tracking system. 3. Consistently meet the performance metrics as defined by the Director of Recruiting. 4. Provide reporting and regular status updates to the Director of Recruiting and Hiring Manager as required. 5. Solicit referrals from potential talent and internal employees/recent hires. Qualifications Required: 1.Must have significant recruiter experience, in multiple recruiting environments (i.e. more that one organization, agency or corporate) with a wide variety of job disciplines. 2. Must be available to work a flexible work schedule (occasional nights and weekends may be required). 3. Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. 4. Skilled in soliciting input and proactively evaluating business, client and candidate needs. 5. Ability to build strong relationships and positively influence clients and colleagues 6. Strong problem solving ability 7. Proven ability to take initiative and look beyond current role openings and identify strong industry talent. 8. PC skills and desire to work with new and innovative technology. 9. Ability to accurately and articulately document information. 10. Reporting to the Director of Recruiting, primary responsibilities will include contacting, screening and assisting in the placement of qualified candidates at our client sites. The ideal candidate would possess inside sales experience, dynamic personality and the ability to build relationships with good communication skills. The Junior Recruiter will be groomed to assist in development and implementation of our recruiting strategies and processes, while working closely with our management team. DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES: Contacting candidates, following-up with candidates, and managing candidate pipeline. Scheduling interviews, briefing and debriefing candidates before and after interviews. Maintaining timely documentation of all conversations with candidates within our internal database. Assisting in generating leads from conversations with candidates. Presenting candidates to our management team applying high quality standards. Partner with the Director of Recruiting to implement creative recruiting resources to attract qualified professionals. Identifying and attending networking activities such as career fairs, professional association meetings, technical schools and outplacement services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience in telemarketing, sales, marketing or customer service environment strongly preferred.

Knowledge of or ability to understand technical terminology and concepts. Excellent written and oral (phone) communication skills a MUST. PC literate in Windows environment including MS Office and the internet. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong networks. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field is desired. Self confidence combined with openness to learning and applying new skills and concepts. Good sense of humor.

Collaborate with the Managing Director and the project team to plan and implement effective recruiting strategies for Technology or Consumer research positions. Insure job profiles and position requirements are aligned with business objectives Understand the client company, the market they are in, the products they produce, the strategic direction of the company, and the specifics surrounding the role we are working to fill Serve as an ambassador of our firm when reaching out to candidates; cold calling candidates for positions and acting professionally in representing the firm Identify and the best mix of resources to source top talent using our research function, job boards, web searches, referrals and industry-specific sources Develop position-specific screening questionnaires Recruit, assess, and hire top talent Identify, screen and present top talent to clients Work with research team as assignments change/evolve Manage candidates throughout the interview process Leverage candidate tracking systems to ensure future searches leverage all data gathered during the process. Bachelors degree or equivalent Understanding the functional breakdown of an organization at the executive level 5+ years recruiting experience for individual, managerial and executive level positions The ability to identify qualified candidates for various projects, contacting them through cold calling and capturing their interest A proven track record of successfully sourcing hard-to-find candidates Experience using staffing systems and tools including relational database applicant tracking systems, the internet, job boards and imagination Strong verbal communication skills, including interviewing, selling, influencing, negotiating and collaborating The ability to speak intelligently at some level of detail about our clients across different industries, and to be able to articulate why we are a premier search firm Strong project management skills, including planning for and tracking recruiting metrics Proven knowledge and expertise in all sourcing methods including using recruiting research, cold calling, warm calling and internet recruiting Business development skills and client relationships would be ideal but are not required

Primary Responsibilities

Develop business and create new client relationships in the for-profit/corporate sector; Directly source working job candidates from competitors organizations; Prepare candidate resume, any supporting documents, and prep candidate for interviews; Counsel and consult with client organization hiring managers on current market trends and progress on orders; Perform salary, fee, and contract negotiations with clients and candidates, where applicable; Oversee progress on all positions being filled through the Rockville office; Serve as account manager to client organizations and cultivate ongoing relationships; Devise recruiting strategy and mentor Rockville recruiting staff; Assist with company-wide recruiting projects and serve as back-up to out-of-office colleagues.

Qualifications

2 years of corporate recruiting experience mandatory. 23 years of experience in as a third-party recruiting agency strongly preferred. Excellent interpersonal, consulting, diplomacy, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work independently on projects, as team lead, and as a member of a team. High level of initiative, strong drive to succeed. Excellent organization skills and oral/written communication skills a must. Library knowledge/experience a plus but not mandatory. Bachelors degree mandatory.
