EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
We are in 21st century with the era of modernization and globalization. Organizations are changing rapidly in all fields and activities. One key area is to build a continuous learning environment with the organization and to study about the Assessment of Human Resource Policies & Welfare Schemes are for the purpose of identifying the scope for improvement in organizational efficiency and effectiveness. By analyzing the HR Policies and Welfare Schemes could be one of the better ways to achieve the stated and unstated objectives. After knowing and understanding Human Resource Policies & Schemes in IOCL, I have come up with a comprehensive frame work of these Policies and Welfare Schemes of Human Resource Department in IOCL. I hope this venture would be helpful not only to the Corporation but also to the individual. The purpose behind the study of HR Policies and Welfare Schemes of Human Resource is to know about the structure of overall set-up and also to know the views of employees, whether they are satisfy or not. The objective of the study is to mapping the different Policies & Schemes for the welfare of employees. The purpose is to obtain creative solutions and suggestions in Human Resource Department. What kind of other Policies and Welfare Schemes should be implemented by the organization and to get the right feedback from the employees?
