NOTICE BOARD

Rt Revd. Colin Buchanan will be our preacher next Sunday and he

will be leading our thoughts at our parish weekend.

Asda Run During June the mini bus will be running to Asda every
Thursday morning at 10.am and will be at Asda for approximately
one hour. If you know anyone who could benefit from this service
please ring the church office on 01924 220868.
Whinn Dale Court Service I will be holding a short service for the
residents of Whinn Dale Court on Tuesday at 2.00. You will be very
welcome to join me.

Work for Church Day Prior to TLG all cupboards and items in the
back room at the Parish Rooms need to be removed, unwanted
items can be taken to the tip. To coincide with this we will be having
a work for church day on Sunday 19th June, 1.00 - 4.00 pm. For
more details see Jenny or Gavin.

Going for Gold 2012 The Olympics what will the church be doing?
If you would like to know more or get involved please speak to John
Dracup or Roger Wills. More details in the coming weeks.

Freedom in Christ A discipleship course to stretch your faith which

has blessed many people in church wanting to grow will begin again
on Tuesday 6th September. If you want to know more speak to Dawn
or Sarah.

Alpha For those just starting out as Christians or exploring what it

means to be a Christian we will be running a course in the Autumn.

Mara Update Please look at the notice board for information

regarding the link we have with Mara, below is a short extract from
the letter we received (full letter on notice board) thanking us for
the bibles we funded last year and how they are being used in the
study groups.
The Diocese of Mara - distribution of bibles to the bible study groups
First of all, I, Revd Canon Jacob Robert on the behalf of the Christian
education department and on the behalf of My Diocese of Mara, I
would like to send our gratefulness to you, our friend of the church
of All Saints Normanton for your generous Bible contribution, that
has enabled us now to read and study the Bible. I would like to say
that, may our Lord Jesus add more blessings in your Christian
journey life. We promise to continue to pray for you and share our
life in the Bible study ministry.
