Ed and Sherri Mason have been thers since joining Trinity

UCC in the late 90’s. The Masons are involved in numerous
ministries and commiees including: The Married Couples,
Adult Ushers, Newness of Life, Amani, Prison Ministry, Financial
Counseling Consorum, Endowment Commiee and Deacon
Ministry. Trinity has been an integral part of their life. When
having their estate plan completed, they felt that it was natural
thing for them to do - to leave a the or 10% of their residual
estate to Trinity UCC for generaons yet to come. Fiy years
from now, they know they will not be acve in the life of the
church as they are today. However, through their legacy and
many others, Trinity UCC will sll be able to impact Christ,
Community and Culture in the many years ahead, just as the
church has done for them.

• If you are like most people, you probably didn’t
wake up one morning and say, "Gee, I’d love to spend
every minute of my life dedicated to the needs of
another person.” Instead, you may be an accidental
caregiver. An accidental caregiver can be a relave,
friend from church, or even a neighbor. They come
to the aid of someone who needs help with errands,
meal preparaon, or light housekeeping. Their
responsibilies grow over me, and while they didn’t
plan to become a caregiver, they became one. For
individuals who currently find themselves living as an
accidental caregiver, Amani Trinity United Community
Health Corporaon has a series of caregiver workshops
that are held monthly covering a number of topics

January • Levicus: 25:10

Consecrate the fiieth year and proclaim
liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants.
It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to
return to your family property and to your own
clan.
February: Levicus 25:1

The LORD said to Moses at Mount Sinai,
March • Levicus 25:2

“Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When
you enter the land I am going to give you, the
land itself must observe a sabbath to the LORD.
April • Levicus 25:3

For six years sow your fields, and for six years
prune your vineyards and gather their crops.
May • Levicus 25:4-5

But in the seventh year the land is to have a
year of sabbath rest, a sabbath to the LORD. Do
not sow your fields or prune your vineyards.

Do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the
grapes of your untended vines. The land is to
have a year of rest.
June • Luke 4:18-19

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he
hath anointed me to preach the gospel
to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken-
hearted, to preach deliverance to the capves,
and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at
liberty them that are bruised, 19To preach the
acceptable year of the Lord.

Whatever the land yields during the sabbath
year will be food for you—for yourself, your
male and female servants, and the hired worker
and temporary resident who live among you, 7
as well as for your livestock and the wild animals
in your land. Whatever the land produces may
be eaten.
August • Levicus 25:8

“‘Count off seven sabbath years—seven mes
seven years—so that the seven sabbath years
amount to a period of forty-nine years.

Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on
the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day
of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout
your land.
October • Levicus: 25:11-12

The fiieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do

and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken
directly from the fields.
