Employment History:
Project Engineer
10/2009 12/2010 Project Consulting Services, Metairie, LA
Performed expansion & flexibility analysis for buried piping using Caesar II Ver
. 5.2. Checked & assured quality of stress analysis calculations for equipment
& vehicle crossings of buried pipelines using Technical Tool Boxes Ver. 12 (Whee
l Load Analysis, Track Load Analysis, API 1102 Analysis, ect.).Performed expansi
on & flexibility analysis on offshore pipelines & tow load analysis for sub-sea
tie-in piping using Caesar II Ver. 5.2. Performed stress analysis for offshore p
ipe laying operations using OFFPIPE. Checked & assured quality of flow simulatio
ns performed to size pipelines and determine variations of pressure, velocity an
d temperature in cross-country and offshore natural gas pipelines using PIPESIM.
Mechanical Engineer II
02/2006 - 08/2009 URS Corporation of America, New Orleans, LA
Developed procurement specifications and evaluated bids for mechanical equipment
such as boilers, boiler feed water pumps, Fin/ Fan air coolers, agitators, truc
k weigh scales and large diameter piping. Developed installation specifications
for piping insulation, duct insulation and borosilicate glass, acid resistant du
ct linings. Performed stress analysis on piping using Caesar II Ver. 5.1. Used F
EPipe Ver. 4.2 & 5.0 to implement Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques to co
mpute SIFs for piping branches and mitered elbows in large diameter piping syste
ms. Used FEA (FEPipe Ver. 4.2 & 5.0) and WRC 107(PVelite) analysis techniques to
evaluate the need for additional reinforcement on nozzle openings and clip atta
chments for pressure vessels and tanks per the requirements of the ASME Section
VIII Div. 2 and API 650 codes. Used PVelite to perform pressure vessel design c
alculations and pressure vessel re-rates per ASME Section VIII Div 1. Used Zicks
analysis to design saddle supports for 48" -96" slurry piping.
