I was responsible for managed care contracting, operations and relationships for
Carolinas HealthCare System (CHCS) which accounted for more than 60 % of the an
nual revenue. It was my responsibility to develop a system wide Clinical Care M
anagement Department responsible for over 70,000 discharges per year. I also ma
naged the Third Party Administrator (TPA) for CHCS which paid claims for all CHC
S employees under the self insured insurance plan.
