Career Objective Coming from IT background having completed my Bachelors Degree in

Information Technology, I want to use my skills I gained from this to excel my
career in Computing.
 Worked as a Customer Service Officer Cum IT power user at the British
Experience Council, Kandy,Srilanka.(2 years)
• Currently working as a Software Developer at Softtech Solutions,Kandy
from Feb -2009 (Visual Studio ,SQL Server, Dreamweaver)
• Ability to communicate in English and Tamil
COMMUNICATION: • Up to now I have done all my education in English so I am well proficient
in this language.

TEAM WORK: • Working as a team I have always met my targets and helped my colleagues
when they needed a helping hand. I participated in the youth camp
organized by Chinmaya mission Colombo in Veyangoda in 2003.
• I have also been a participant in the United Nations youth camp and
organised by the srilanka-united nation’s friendship organisation (SUNFO).
I have also helped my brother who the secretary of this organisation, to
organise these events.

Achievements • I have been an active member of the English debating union and have
participated in the all Island debating competition in 2004.
• I have prioritised tasks by helping to organise the activities by SUNFO.I
have also met deadlines in doing so. I have also prepared projects for my 1st
year of my degree. Here also I have met deadlines in handling the projects

• I believe that I can adapt and work in different situations. I have had
Flexibility experiences of this by working with the team members in the above stated
events and in different environments.

ICT • By doing my degree in computing with majors in networking, I have a

good knowledge of IT and communication.

Others • Attended team working, presentation skills, customer service and

negotiation skill. Conducted promotional presentations and workshops for
government and private institutions.
