Diesel Repair & Maintenance Manager
Oversee teams of highly trained specialists in maintenance, troubleshooting, rep
air, and replacement of complex, interrelated electronic and diesel equipment; e
xcellent theoretical and practical application skills in diagnosing and repairin
g diesel engines and over-the-road vehicles. Perform repair and maintenance work
as assigned in accordance with in-house and manufacturers' standards for diesel
technology, hydraulics, brakes, steering, and fuel systems. Deploy essential kn
owledge of computerized diagnostics, maintenance, repair, related control system
s, and workplace safety. Manage fully operational shop equipment, troubleshoot b
reakdowns, and safeguard inventory and supplies. Determine and distribute worklo
ad for each technician. Play major role in ensuring timeliness of repairs and ad
herence to QA.
