As Quality Assurance Manager for Sensors Unlimited, Incorporated, I
had responsibility for the quality of the product beginning with
purchased material quality through delivery of the final product. We
manufactured InGaAs technology products ranging from linear arrays to
line scan cameras to 2D imaging cameras. SUI's quality program has
maintained its ISO 9001 originally issued in March 1998.

knowledge of the Hybrid circuit manufacturing processes including
seam sealing wire bonding, I also introduced a plant wide
computerized SPC program that resulted in over $50,000 / year in

Recruited to provide Senior Quality and Manufacturing Engineering
support for the production of pressure gauges and instrument
components ($10M in annual sales). During this assignment, I drew on
my Mechanical background to address machining issues for components
manufactured in our vertically integrated shop. I brought in a new
welding station that replaced an old system. The new system took the
yield from approximately 60% to 98% for the production of gauge
bellows. I also became the supervisor of the plating department of 20
people. During this experience I took the steps to become AESF
certified as an Electroplater / Finisher. Principle Member of the
Aerospace Manufacturing Improvement Team using KAIZEN techniques
resulting in annual savings in excess of $100K per year.

loop corrective action system.

of large decanter centrifuge systems for world wide distribution. I
started as Quality Assurance Engineer and progressed to be the
Quality Assurance Manager. While at Alfa Laval, I became experienced
in the heavy industry fabrication processes. My activities included
the standard Quality Assurance activities and included managing
welder qualification certifications, Non-destructive testing (Liquid
Penetrant), and End Item Data Packages. As Quality Assurance Manager,
I became the focal point for all quality related issues.
