Applications System Administrator

____________________SUMMARY____________________
I have spent the last sixteen years of my career in hospitals working my way up
from a desktop tech to an applications system administrator.
Although in my last position I was responsible for three major hospital systems,
my main responsiblity was with with Sovera for HIM and later included PFS (elec
tronic document management).
My Sovera for HIM experience for the first five years included participating as
the main hospital lead in the initial installation, user maintenance, desktop in
stallations, help desk calls, customer satisfaction follow-ups, system-wide moni
toring including all servers as well as workflow and interfaces, and both hardwa
re and application upgrades.
During the last three years, the system was brought under the IT Department and
most of the server reposnsibilities were transferred to the server team and remo
te access transferred to the Citrix team.
My "official" training included one week of FileNet Administration in Chicago, I
L and three weeks of Sovera Systems Administrator at CGI in Fairfax, VA.
My work ethic is high and strongly believe in teamwork and sharing of informatio
n (cross-training). I created a "simplified" step-by-step procedure manual that
included many of the issues/solutions the Sovera Administrator would encounter
in the day-to-day monitoring of the system.
