I operate Davenpor t multi-spindle when needed. I am making fuel injecter parts, some with threads. I do my own tool changes as well as adjustments. I sharpen my own tools. I tro uble shoot my own machines. I assist other operators on there machines. I have also trained operators. I have to hold very tight tolerances in Microns. I use precision gauges, mics, calipers, profilometer, etc. I know how to read bluepri nts. I have over 20 years on the job Screw Machine experience in both setting up and operating. Inc. 4/1994 to 11/2003 Grand Haven, MI Screw Machine Operater/Set-Up: I operate and set-up Acme Gridley multi-spindle screw machines in various models as well as New Britan multi-spindle in various models. I loaded my own machine s lifting from 20 to 80 pounds. I use precision gauges, mics, calipers along wit h charts and graphs. I can read blue prints. I was responsible for making all a djustments and tool changes and performed trouble-shooting to assist other opera tors. I trained other operators on the machines. I was also a lead man. I shar pen my own tools. My set-up experience includes , but is not limited to , speed s and feeds, cam changes. I have replaced spindle bearings, replaced clutches fo r speeders. I have worked with all types of threads , threading devices, pneuma tic and straddle rolls. Pneumatic thread rolls , taps, die heads for I.D. & O.D., right hand and left hand threads, recesses, sha ve tool holders, broaches, burnishers. I have worked with cold drawn steel, sta inless steel, bronze, brass, aluminum ect. Comments: I can work overtime. I am honest, reliable and a hard worker. I am willing to relocate.
