Configured VPN server to allow the Oman retail office and stores to communicate with the head

10. Migration of the Wholesale Division from Netware 5.1 NDS domain to Windows 2003
Active directory domain and also setting up of new mail server domain (alseer.com) using
Exchange Server 2007 and setting up Blackberry enterprise server(ver 4.5) for the domain.
Involved in installation of Exchange server components (Mailbox, Client Access Server, Hub and
Edge Transport), configured firewall rule in Checkpoint. Installed and configured Blackberry
Enterprise server.
11. Migration of SAP system from 32bit system to ia64 system
Involved in installing Windows 2003 for rx3640 and rx7640 series servers and SAP and SQL Server
2005 installation. Connecting the systems to SAN switches and hence to the SAN resources and
networking of the system.
12. Setting up the backup solution for the SAP system using HP Data Protector Version 6
Involved in installing Windows 2003 and installing Data Protector Cell manager and setting up the
clients so as to take backup of SQL and File System.
13. Migration of SAP system from SAP R/3 4.6C to SAP Enterprise Central Component
version 6
Installed dialog instance of application server and made the SAP instance cluster aware. Did testing
and roll out of SAP GUI 7.10 and SAP GUI 6.40.
14. Migration of the Retail Division to new mail server domain (finefarefood.com) using
Exchange Server 2007 in Windows 2008 active directory domain and also moving of old mail
server domain( spinneys-dubai.com) to Exchange Server 2007 from MDeamon ver.9.5 and
setting up BlackBerry Professional Server .
Involved in installation of Exchange server components (Mailbox, Client Access Server, Hub and
Edge Transport); configured firewall rule in Checkpoint; installed related networking and rollout of
