International Cooperation in Prosecuting Crimes

“International Criminal Court” is an organization where individuals are

prosecuted on behalf of crimes such as genocide, crimes against humanity, and war

crimes. Cooperation of the International community is that the world comes together and

protects victims of human trafficking, terrorism and corruption of the society causing

misplaced people. International Crime Control System is a plan made to combat any

international criminal or follower, and to protect the victims of any of these actions that

they have caused.

United Kingdom’s position in International Cooperation in Prosecuting Crimes is

that the U.K will definitely cooperate since in it is one of the biggest supporters to the

International Criminal Court. The United Kingdom has passed a bill where they will

support and cooperate with the ICC and sentence a person committing a crime to prison

depending on their violation on any of the three points that the ICC defends and

prosecutes criminals. (International Criminal Court Bill, 2001). United Kingdom has

made effort in helping the ICC by donating money. For example in 2010 United

Kingdom had donated two hundred thousand Euros for trust funds for victims. United

Kingdom does plan to help any country that is willing to stop these international

criminals from continuing with their inhumane actions. There has been a history of

terrorism, human trafficking, and genocide; United Kingdom will contribute their time

and effort in stopping criminals.

Solutions that United Kingdom proposes for the international community is to

come together and receive many ideas of many countries that want to stop these criminals

and put them to justice and receive the consequences of their actions. Another solution

can be to increase the border security of countries that are many affected by any of the

points that the International Criminal Court has. But as well as increase military

enforcement to countries who receive a somewhat amount of cases to increase the

progress in finding any international criminal. The delegate of United Kingdom

recommends that countries come together and make sure that we can stop these criminals

and make the world a safer place for all.
