“Winning
this
2x8
scholarship
is
fantastic,
it
was
very
unexpected.
It
was
a
very
simple
project
and
we
worked
really
hard
to
get
the
complexity
of
the
design
to
be
simple
and
I
think
that
clarity
came
through.
It
feels
good
to
get
started
on
a
high
note
and
have
a
little
motivation
before
grad
school!”

“Winning
the
scholarship
will
help
me
further
my
career,
in
one
way,
monetarily
by
helping
me
pay
for
grad
school
applications.
But
also
by
getting
my
name
out
there
and
having
a
presentation
at
the
A+D
Museum…which
is
a
pretty
big
thing.”

“It’s
a
great
opportunity
to
exhibit
our
work
while
we’re
still
studying.
It’s
also
a
great
opportunity
to
look
at
all
the
other
schools;
see
what
kind
of
work
is
out
there.”

“It’s
a
great
start
for
the
students
to
exhibit
their
work
and
to
see
what
schools
in
California
are
doing.
Also,
it
is
great
to
meet
teacher
and
local
professionals
in
architecture.”

was
very
rewarding.
The

was

but
worth
it.
I
