Sensazione negativa predominante: delusione.

Strategia specifica: aspettare il ciclo della luna, 28 giorni, prima di prendere una decisione importante.

Il Riflettore è il più raro dei quattro Tipi: solo il 2 per cento della popolazione possiede questa
configurazione.

È molto diverso da tutti gli altri Tipi e ciò che lo riguarda è profondamente legato alla meccanica del
suo Disegno. Infatti, nessuno dei Nove Centri è definito: sono tutti bianchi.

Gli altri tre Tipi hanno tutti qualcosa di definito nel proprio Disegno, il Riflettore invece no. È
completamente aperto.

È un essere fuori dal comune, unico, speciale. Ma poiché non ha alcun aspetto fisso nella sua natura
a cui fare riferimento, non ha Autorità Interna, quel posto di cui ci si può sempre fidare per le
decisioni. Per questa ragione lo si potrebbe ritenere particolarmente fragile e vulnerabile, ma non è
affatto così.

Il Riflettore porta dentro di sé la capacità di sviluppare una grande saggezza se conosce e capisce le
sue aperture e se sa come viverle, se impara a non identificarsi con il condizionamento.

Come abbiamo ampiamente detto, i centri bianchi non sono vuoti o rotti, semplicemente sono aperti
e possono assorbire tutto.

Il Riflettore è molto sensibile a quello che gli succede intorno, a tutto ciò che lo circonda. È aperto in
tutti i sensi alle influenze esterne, al mondo, ed è pronto ad accogliere gli altri in profondità.
Grazie alla natura della sua apertura, è l’unico che percepisce totalmente l’ambiente che lo circonda
e che riesce a stabilire se è in sintonia con lui.

Questa apertura può diventare un handicap solo se non conosce il suo funzionamento meccanico. Se
si identifica con quello che rispecchia, con tutto ciò che lo penetra, si confonde e si sente perso. Può
dipendere dalle persone che lo circondano e appunto per questo deve fare un’accurata selezione degli
individui che faranno parte della sua vita più intima.

Quando il Riflettore viene al mondo sente tutto, vede tutto, prende tutto dentro di sé. Nasce pieno di
stupore, ha la capacità di meravigliarsi per ogni cosa. Poiché non possiede niente di fisso a cui
ancorarsi, tutto lo penetra e allo stesso tempo ogni cosa genera in lui un senso di sorpresa, di
meraviglia e di eccitazione.

Ma allo stesso tempo tutto questo può diventare causa di dispiacere e delusione nel percorso della
vita.

Il fatto di non avere Autorità Interiore può causare disillusione.

Il Riflettore percepisce intensamente il modello indotto dall’ambiente che lo circonda; lo osserva, lo

assorbe, e si sente profondamente deluso quando constata che in realtà non è quello giusto per sé.

È molto importante che sappia circondarsi delle persone giuste e che sappia riconoscere chi ha
l’Autorità Esterna nella quale riporre la propria fiducia, alla quale affidarsi come se fosse la sua.

Il Riflettore ha bisogno dei consigli, delle opinioni, del confronto di idee con queste persone. I suoi
pensieri sono inevitabilmente soggetti al condizionamento, data la totale apertura, e ha quindi
l’assoluta necessità di chiarire le sue idee, di confrontarle con altre, di analizzare prospettive
differenti. Non si tratta di dare Autorità agli altri. Non significa che siano gli altri a decidere per lui:
questo causerebbe solo ulteriore delusione. Ha bisogno di riflettere, riunire e chiarire i propri pensieri,
confrontarli con quelli degli altri in modo da trovare la sicurezza per decidere. Per fare questo ha
bisogno di tempo.

Il Riflettore ha bisogno di studiare e conoscere a fondo il suo Disegno, la sua configurazione, per
poter individuare e applicare con successo la giusta Strategia.

E’ interessante osservare la diversità della relazione con il tempo in termini di Strategia diversa
tra i Proiettori ed i Riflettori.

I Proiettori attendono in una struttura indefinita, aperta il loro invito, mentre i Riflettori hanno un arco
temporale, hanno un orologio. Non c’è davvero nulla di simile al Riflettore ed anche se sono una
minoranza poiché sono solo l’1% della popolazione, sono comunque un numero considerevole di
persone sul pianeta che si aggira attorno ai 70 milioni, quindi sono davvero tanti.

Ed è ovvio che i Riflettori siano diversi dal momento che se guardiamo il loro disegno tutto è bianco.
Ed in essenza sono profondamente condizionati da tutto ciò che li circonda e la loro struttura poiché
è stato geneticamente costruito per essere totalmente condizionato in questo senso. E quindi non c’è
nessun elemento di contrasto
Il Riflettore è qui per essere ed essendo all’interno dell’ambiente condizionante l’ambiente funziona
ciclicamente, sono esseri lunari orientati dalla luna e questo significa che il programma di
consapevolezza è orientato dal ciclo lunare. Si legge spesso nelle loro descrizioni che devono
attendere un periodo di 28/29 giorni che è il tempo che ci vuole affinché la luna compia il suo giro
intorno alla terra. Loro passano attraverso un viaggio nel micro cosmo attorno alla ruota del rave. In
altre parole il modo in cui il Riflettore opera è che se si comprime un ciclo lunare in un giorno solo
avrete una buona immagine di ciò che loro sono. Loro hanno tutti questi centri aperti, ma questi centri
aperti sono ricchi di porte attivate, anche se dormienti.

Come la luna gira attorno alla ruota, l’oggetto più veloce nel nostro sistema solare, l’agente
condizionante più veloce, ogni 10/12 ore una porta si fissa ed un’altra ritorna senza essere fissata. Ed
in termini di definizione per i Riflettori c’è una definizione qui ed una definizione là, ma non è caotico
perché è sempre lo stesso programma ad ogni mese lunare. Quindi in termini di strategia, su come
prendere decisioni per un Riflettore significa solo prendersi tempo e prendersi tempo per loro
significa mettersi nelle condizioni di essere in ogni palcoscenico è risveglio della loro coscienza per
loro.

Questo significa che permettere che tutte le definizioni che appaiono facciano il loro corso per tutto
il tempo in cui la luna si muove. E’ affascinante se lo osservi, se un riflettore guarda il movimento
del ciclo lunare attorno alla ruota e prendiamo ogni canale che si definisce mentre la luna si muove e
semplicemente leggili, uno dopo l’altro, semplicemente leggili e vedrai che l’argomento con cui inizi
e l’argomento con cui finisci questo è il tuo processo, come prendo dentro di me le cose.
L’altra cosa per il riflettore è quanto importante sia il luogo dove sta. Per nessun altro Tipo il Luogo
è così essenziale. Il riflettore comprende il programma relativo alle persone attorno a Sé. In altre
parole nessun altro essere umano come il Riflettore è qui per comprendere qual è l’impatto del
programma su chiunque.
Il punto per il Riflettore è andare attraverso i cicli lunari per trovare per se stessi le risposte alle
domande più profonde. Sono nel posto giusto?
Non-Sé
Non hanno alcuna definizione, non hanno alcuna Autorità interna. Non hanno una modalità
esistenziale fissa per afferrare, per comprendere nulla. Hanno un ciclo lunare dettagliato, che è l’unica
cosa consistente che il Riflettore ha nel suo processo di coscienza.

Pensate a tutte queste aperture, i manifestatori sono qui per comprendere il loro impatto sugli altri, i
generatori sono qui per conoscere se stessi, i Proiettori sono qui per comprendere gli altri, ma i
Riflettori non hanno un punto di vista specifico. E’ l’ambiente in cui sono che fa la differenza, dopo
tutto sono qui per essere aperti a tutti i campi di condizionamento e la relazione con il programma di
condizionamento è totalmente diversa da tutti gli altri Tipi, è parte dell’educazione di ogni Riflettore
che debbano focalizzare la loro attenzione sulle dinamiche del programma condizionante, giorno
dopo giorno, momento dopo momento , ogni movimento di cambiamento e di trasformazione poiché
loro sono così profondamente sensibili rispetto a questo. Se cerchiamo di capire il processo di
risveglio di un bambino riflettore dobbiamo capire che il primo assaggio alla loro consapevolezza è
questo: c’è sempre la delusione, fa parte di lui. Sono questi temi che non sono brutti o belli, non sono
mai brutti, solo nel Maya facciamo questo, diciamo questa è una cosa bella e questa è una cosa brutta,
ma ancora una volta dipende dalla prospettiva, dipende da dove sei, dipende da come osservi.

Non si può separare un Manifestatore dalla sua rabbia, o un Generatore dalla sua frustrazione o un
Proiettore dalla sua amarezza senza distruggere quello che li rende quello che sono. E’ solo essere in
salute, corretti e si, i Riflettori sono qui per conoscere la delusione, delusione in cosa? Nella natura
del come l’umanità si integra nel mondo. Quando io parlo dei Riflettori in modo mistico, parlo di loro
come esseri che possono essere equiparati a dei Giudici, coloro che sanno realmente raccontare il
benessere del campo di coscienza. Il benessere dell’umanità come una cosa, come un’entità, come
una forza vitale più grande piuttosto che l’individuo di per se. Queste sono le aperture dei Riflettori,
sono sintonizzate con il movimento del programma. Possono anche riconoscere la relazione che c’è
tra il programma per gli altri. Possono vedere chiaramente, con grande delusione come ciecamente le
persone vengono prese in giro dal programma stesso. I Riflettori hanno un potenziale enorme di essere
dei grandi guaritori, dei grandi guaritori nel contesto di quello che viene rivelato loro che è quello che
rappresenta questa stessa conoscenza Hd. E’ attraverso questa conoscenza che la loro straordinaria
unicità è chiaramente dimostrata, sono un gruppo ristretto che ha un enorme importanza per tutti noi
e come ho sempre detto trattando con loro la cosa più importante nella loro vita, comincia con l’essere
nel posto giusto, nell’ambiente giusto, nella comunità.

Reflectors are 1% of the worlds’ population.

The Reflector derives its name from the nature of its reflective aura.

The Reflector aura resists, samples and reflects other auras

The Reflector is a wise observer of life with a great gift of reading other people.

Reflector’s must wait a full lunar cycle before making major decision for their life.

Reflectors have the opportunity for a mystical life because of their openness.

Of major important for Reflectors is to find the perfect environment to live in (shelter, community)
and supportive people to live with.

Reflectors should be aware of the daily transists of the planets to see the effect it has on them for that
day.

The most reliable aspect of the Reflector design is their Profile and Motivational Color

Other people will always see aspects of themselves when they meet a Reflector.

Reflectors have no activated centers in their body

Reflectors take in reflect back the energy and emotions coming from tranisting planets and their
environment.

Reflectors are meant to be at the heart of their community. They know exactly when a community is
functioning properly and when it is not.

The Reflector in more detail

The Reflector carries an extraordinary Human Design. They make-up just 1% of the worlds’
population and are wholly different from the way the other 99% of human beings operate.

Reflectors have no energy or awareness Centers turned on and activated at birth. Every Center in their
design is completely white. As a result, they give off an illusion about themselves that has nothing to
do with who they really are.

On the face of it, with all those inactive centers, it would seem that a Reflector is constantly taking in
other peoples’ energies and emotions. Without any reliable patterns of their own.

If we were talking about any other type of human being this would indeed be the case. An open
inactivated center is always vulnerable to the affects of other people.

But the fundamental difference with a Reflector is the nature of their electromagnetic aura. Our human
aura represents the holistic energy field that uniquely surrounds each and every one of us. This aura
is our personal electromagnetic signature and tells every living thing around us what we are all about.
This aura extends up to 3 meters around the entire circumference of our body. Having an aura also
gives us the ability to read and interpret other people’s auras.

The Reflector aura is a ‘resistant’ aura that does two things uniquely. Firstly it samples or ‘tastes’ the
auras of the people around it by taking in only a little piece of what it receives. Secondly it reflects
back all of what it receives from the other person.

This resistant aura works as a protection mechanism for the Reflector. Protection from being
overwhelmed by the emotions and energies of the other people around them.

It is also what makes the Reflector seem like a chameleon to the rest of us. A chameleon that just
blends in with whatever is around it. Reflectors become their environment. They do this quite
naturally but often feel invisible to others because of it.

Other people will always see aspects of themselves when they meet a Reflector; so Reflectors need
to be aware of whom they are in a relationship with.

A Reflector should watch themselves interact with other people to see what negative and positive
aspects those people will bring to a relationship.

If the person with the Reflector is positive and happy the Reflector will reflect that. But if they are
corrupt or manipulative then they will also reflect that behaviour!
So Reflectors should spend some time becoming aware of what is actually them and what they are
reflecting. It will take some practice and it is only over time that they will get to know their real
selves.

Reflectors are walking around in a protective auric ‘bubble’ which doesn’t connect deeply at all to
other people. And this makes personal relationships more difficult for Reflectors than for the rest of
us. The closest any other aura comes to the Reflector is the Manifestor aura.

The Manifestor doesn’t ‘sample’ and ‘reflect’ the auras of other people it ‘repels’ those auras.
However, just like the Reflector, the Manifestor aura is designed as a resistant protective shield from
the auras of other people.

The Planets

A major factor that really makes Reflectors different is the profound effect the movement of the
planets has on their daily lives. This is what their resistant aura cannot protect them against.

The planets transiting through their regular orbits activate and de-activate gates in all of our designs
continually. But only Reflectors feel these effects deeply.

Non-Reflectors only receive a small taste of the effects of these transiting planets. They just get to
experience a little of the energies and emotions made possible by teh transit of the planets.

But Reflectors get the Full Monty! They feel all the energetic effects of the planets profoundly.

Some say that this is the most important thing that Reflectors are really here for. They are here to
show all of us the full human effects of the movement of the planets on a continual basis.

Gate activations coming via other people within the Reflector aura have very little impact on
Reflectors at all. But gate activations coming via other people within the rest of the types has a major
impact on them. Similarly, the planet movements have a limited and shallow effect on non-Reflectors
but a major effect on Reflectors.

Reflectors operate in a totally opposite way to the other 99% of the world.

Decisions

Reflectors have no decision making area within themselves that they can rely on.

Generators can rely on their sacral center for decision making. People with Splenic Center decision
making authority can rely on the spontaneity of their decisions. Those with an activated Solar Plexus
Center need to wait for absolute clarity through their emotional wave before making any decision but
they can still rely on it to be there for them. Even people with heart or self centers holding sway for
their decisions have a reliable if more delicate mechanism. But Reflectors? They have no Center
activations at all. How are Reflectors supposed to make reliable decisions for their lives?
Reflectors, uniquely, have a very close relationship with the moon. They live in a time zone all their
own. It is a lunar cycle time zone. It is this closeness to the moon that offers the Reflector an ability
to make decisions reliably. But in order to be correct the Reflector needs to wait out the entire 28 day
lunar cycle before making a decision. And of course this is a very difficult thing to do!

But it is important for Reflectors to not allow themselves to be rushed into making decisions. When
someone finds out that they are a Reflector for the first time they should begin the process of
explaining to other people that it is not healthy for them to be rushed in their process.

It is also helpful for Reflectors to monitor the daily transit of the planets and the impact this will have
on them for that day. The daily transit chart shows the gate activations in all human beings for that
day as a result of the current position of the planets. These activations (depending on the gates
involved) can activate centers, form channels or add additional active gates to an existing center.

So, when the daily chart is that of a Manifestor, that is who the Reflector will be. Or a Generator or a
Projector.

Reflectors can really use this to their advantage. By looking ahead in time at the transit charts for
future days the Reflector will know exactly how energetic or not they will be feeling. So they can
select their Manifestor, Generator and Manifesting Generator days when they need to really
productive! And maybe not commit so much on the Projector days.

The important thing for the Reflector to remember is that this transit is not who they really are, they
are just reflecting. The most reliable aspect of a Reflectors personality will be their profile and
motivational Color. These aspects of the Reflector are not affected by transiting planets or people
moving in and out of the Reflector aura.

Reflectors will also find it helpful to talk to others and listen objectively to the feedback during their
28 day process of making any decision. They should also try to have the same conversation with
different people to see the different responses and possibilities to any situation.

Four of the most important decisions a Reflector will need to make correctly in life are:

– Where they live

– Who they live with

– Where they work

– Who they work with

They reflect the community and the health of the community and environment around them.

If the community they live within is supportive and nourishing they will blossom and flourish. If it
isn’t, life can become very disappointing for the Reflector.

If Reflectors really master their human designs they have the chance to become the wisest and most
objective people amongst us.

The Reflector is the rarest of all the five Types.

The Reflector also has the most unique and deliberate strategy.

When you look at a Reflector chart all of the Centers in the chart are white. Remember that wherever
you have white on your chart is where you receive in an amplified way energy from the world around
you.

Reflectors receive every kind of energy possible from the people and the community around them.
That means that at any given point in time, a Reflector is experiencing everyone else's energies.

That means Reflectors are feeling, thinking, sensing and knowing everything that is going on around
them on a deep, experiential level. And, while that gives the Reflector tremendous potential for
awareness of what's up in their world, a Reflector who doesn't understand their hardwiring can feel
confused, lost, overwhelmed, struggle with direction and consistency and have a very difficult time
figuring out what to do to create abundance in their life.

The purpose of a Reflector is to serve as a "karmic mirror" for their community. A Reflector has the
role of reflecting back to the people around them the health and energetic vibration of their
community.

If a Reflector is happy, they are experiencing a happy community. If a Reflector is troubled, struggling
or feeling full of lack, they are experiencing an unhappy community. Their sense of direction in life
will always be determined by their community.

Because of this, it is crucial for the Reflector to be in the right community, the community who they
are designed to serve and reflect.

As you can imagine, if you are so sensitive that you are constantly experiencing the energies of others,
it's difficult to connect with your own energy and feel what is good and right for you.

Because of the complexity of the Reflector experience, Reflectors need three things to make
abundant, authentic choices.
First they need to in a geographical location that feels good to them. Reflectors need to love where
they live and love who they work with. If those two factors are out of alignment, a Reflector will feel
stuck or trapped and their abundance flow will feel stagnant.

Secondly, Reflectors need time...lots of time. It takes time for a Reflector to sort out everyone else's
energy amidst their own.

Not only that, a Reflector's chart is deeply impacted by the movement of the moon through their chart,
changing the nature of their own energy over the course of 28 days. Reflectors need at least 28 days
to wait and feel their way into making good decisions.

Thirdly, because Reflectors have very little energy inside of themselves that is consistent, they need
relationships that "reflect" their own decision making process.

A Reflector has to talk through their decisions out loud and see their choices "reflected" through
others in conversation, much like a Projector.

Although a Reflector can experience enormous amounts of energy from others and can be
tremendously powerful, their energy is not consistent or sustainable. Because of this, traditional jobs
can be difficult for the Reflector to maintain without regular cycles of rest and restoration.

You can imagine if you are not designed to work, need a minimum of 28 days and lots of
conversations to make a good decision for yourself, that it's hard for the Reflector to tap into their
abundance flow if they don't understand their very unique hard-wiring. Reflectors can love and
feel deeply and have the potential to know the full potential of what it means to live in community
together and to experience all that it means to be human. They bear witness to the human process
and potential. Reflectors need time and a supportive community. The most important thing
for a Reflector is to find their right place and to take their time getting there, and to trust themselves,
the abundant nature of life and in their ability to tap into a prosperous life.
Besides having your type listed in the keynotes section of your chart, you can identify your type as a
Reflector because:

 All nine centers on your chart are white (undefined).

Representing less than 1 percent of the population, the Reflector is the rarest of the Human Design
types. The Reflector is a truly unique, unusually sensitive person who must be in the right place with
the right people to experience true happiness. A Reflector should be honored and valued by those
around them, as they serve a truly unique role that can help the rest of us make decisions that can
improve the welfare of all.

A Reflector has no inner authority. They can only know truth when they see it reflected through
others. In an ideal society, we would have a collectively supported Reflector living with us and
serving as a barometer for the health of our collective.

Reflectors can do anything provided they wait twenty-eight days to make good decisions. Reflectors
talk a lot, and they need to talk to get clarity. The greatest gift you can give a Reflector is to listen to
them.

The few Reflectors I have had the honor of meeting have been passionate souls who have had a deep
sense of the pain and suffering on the planet. They have been strong proponents for peace and
prosperity. Many of them have traveled around the world as guests and have been completely
supported by the gifts and donations of others.

For the Reflector, all nine centers are white (undefined).

Reflectors are truly unique beings ruled by the magnificent moon. You can almost see the radiant
light of the moon in their faces. May you find that all the Reflectors in your life are beacons of joy,
and that bodes well for them as well as for us.
The purpose of the Reflector is to reflect the health of their community. A happy Reflector comes
from a happy community. An unhappy Reflector lives in an unhappy community.

Because the nature of the Reflector is to be energetically reflective, the conditioning experience of
the Reflector does not seem as harsh as it can feel for other types, especially the Projectors. Reflectors
are designed to be deeply conditioned by their environment, and because they have such little
consistency in their charts, they can reflect something new quite easily without much trauma.

The Reflector’s Chart

It doesn’t take long to spot what is unique about the Reflector’s chart. A Reflector has no definition
in any of their centers and has an almost totally white chart. Because Reflectors have totally open
centers, the gates in their charts are very important. Those energies are the only consistent energies
in their charts.

The Reflector’s Strategy: Wait Twenty-Eight Days

Reflectors are lunar beings. The moon makes a complete cycle through each of the sixty-four gates
every twenty-eight days. As the moon moves through the chart of a reflector, it brings with it
consistent changes in definition. Because of these consistent changes, a Reflector can anticipate
energetic and decisive days based on their lunar cycle. The Reflector’s strategy is to wait twenty-
eight days (the cycle of the moon) to make a decision.

It is very helpful for a Reflector to get a Human Design reading. A reading will show the Reflector
the exact changes in their chart over the twenty-eight days of their cycle so that they can know which
days in their cycle are consistently for certain activities and decision making.

As you can imagine, needing to wait nearly a whole month to make sure your decision is valid can
be difficult in our very fast culture. So it follows that the emotional theme of the Reflector is
disappointment. Reflectors often experience disappointment in their decisions because they didn’t
wait long enough for clarity. They can regret their choices and be stuck with unhappy consequences
because they were pressured to make a fast decision.

They also experience disappointment because, by virtue of their openness, the Reflector can be deeply
wise about the extent of human potential, and they can so clearly see when humans don’t live up to
their potential.

While a Reflector is waiting out their twenty-eight days, it is important that they understand their
need to talk about their decisions with others. A Reflector has no inner authority. They can only know
the truth of their decision when they see it reflected through others.

It is vital for Reflectors that they have a consistent group of friends who make them feel good and
who will listen and support the Reflector in their decision making. Because of the inconsistent nature
of the Reflector’s energy, Reflectors need consistent auras that they can rely on.

Reflectors also need to heed their only true inner authority, feeling good. When a Reflector feels good
where they are, they are in the right place. If a Reflector does not feel good somewhere, whether they
are in a restaurant or at their job, it is important for them to leave. If they are in a restaurant, they can
leave immediately; but when leaving a job, it’s good practice to take a full twenty-eight days to be
sure that leaving is the correct decision.

Once the Reflector waits twenty-eight days to make a decision, then they can do whatever they need
to do to act on that decision. If they need to quit, they can just quit. If they need to move, they move.
No more waiting is required after that.

Although they can need a lot of alone time to discharge excess energy, especially Sacral energy,
Reflectors also need others. A quiet, hermetic life is not correct for the Reflector. In a perfect world,
we would all know who the Reflectors are in our community and would make sure they are feeling
good and happy, because their happiness reflects the happiness of the community.

Special Traits: Inconsistency and Sensitivity

Because the Reflector experiences so much energetic change from within and from others, every day
in the life of a Reflector can be inconsistent and volatile. It’s hard for a Reflector to know what is
stable and reliable. The only solution is to take time with all choices and to make sure to “bounce”
ideas off trusted friends and family. Of course, taking long periods of time to gain clarity isn’t always
easy to do in our culture, and the Reflector is often pressured to make quick decisions that end up
being incorrect and disappointing.

Reflectors have a deep awareness of the full potential of humankind. What happens in the “real”
world can impact a Reflector deeply. War, suffering, and injustice can truly tear at the Reflector’s
spirit, and traumatic global events can cause the Reflector tremendous pain. It’s important for
Reflectors to watch their mindset and to find a strategy, like the Emotional Freedom Techniques
(EFT), to cope with the disappointment and pain they experience.

The Reflector’s Health

As with all other non-Sacral types, the Reflector may have trouble sleeping. Making sure that the
Reflector gets time supine in bed before falling asleep is important for good health.

As the Reflector is quite open, he also needs significant alone time to discharge the extra energy from
his body. Remembering alone time is sometimes challenging for a person who needs and is designed
to be with others, but it is healthy.

Although a Reflector can have more energy than any other person due to their open nature, they do
not have within them any inherent consistent energy. Because of this, hard physical exercise or labor
is not correct for the Reflector. Again, what feels good is probably good for the Reflector as long as
they remember when enough is enough and do not overwork themselves.

Because the Reflector is here to reflect the health of others, they may not always be able to see their
own health. Because of this, Reflectors need consistent people in their life who know them and can
help them recognize if they become ill. When a Reflector becomes ill, it is important, of course, to
take care of their body, but it is also vital to look at the community to see if there isn’t also something
within the community that is making the Reflector ill.
Parenting the Reflector Child
Reflector children need consistency and do not transition easily. Because they have open Spleen and
Identity Centers, it is common for Reflector children to seem clingy and to need their parents close
by.

Remember that feeling good is truly the authority for the Reflector. If they feel good, then they are in
the right place. As a parent, you may have to move your Reflector child around a bit until they find a
place that feels good to them. Because of this, a Reflector child will want to be in school, but be aware
that if there is unrest or problems in the energy of the classroom, your child may reflect that energy
and complain.

Reflectors will also reflect their friends. Reflector children must have friends who feel good, too.
Remember that your child will be a reflection of their peer group. If you do not feel good about your
child’s peer group, you may want to gently work with your child to help them make better friends.

Affirmations for the Reflector

 I am a reflection of my world around me. If I feel good, I am in the right place. If I don’t feel
good, I need to change my location.
 I honor myself enough to take as long as necessary to make good choices. I discuss my options
with my close friends, and I listen carefully to their feedback and sense if it feels correct for
me.
 I am sensitive to the world around me. I can experience the pain and suffering of others deeply.
 I have consistent strategies to help me cope with intense feelings of disappointment with the
world. I seek solace and find joy in nature, in animals, and with children who help me restore
my spirit.
REFLECTOR STRATEGY

Reflector Role: Reflectors are here to reflect our state of well-being back to us.

Reflector Strategy:

 Wait 29 days before making important decisions so that you can reflect on your decision
through a full cycle of the powerful lunar influence on your Chart. The moon moves through
all 64 Gates in the Human Design system approximately every 29 days. This means 64
different energies affect you during that period, so you need time to gain clarity about your
decision.
 Talk to others about your decision during the entire 29-day cycle and journal about how you
feel regarding the decision at least once per day. You'll know best where you stand on the
decision by seeing the issues reflected back to you through others.
 After 29 days, when you have a sense of what feels best to you overall, then you can take
action.

Example: You don’t like your job and you’d really like to quit, but to determine whether it’s correct
for you to resign, track your feelings about it and talk with trusted friends about it for at least 29
days. When you sense an inner clarity about your decision, then take whatever action you need to
leave that job.

The Human Design Reflector: Mirrors and Magnifiers

The Human Design Reflector amounts to less than 1% of the population. Therefore, they are very
rare. All their centers are open — they have no definition, only gates. This makes them wise
observers, and what gives them the ability to reflect their environment — they take in the energy
around them and amplify it. Their life purpose is to reflect the health of the community in which they
live; they are the barometers of the health of the community they’re in. They magnify and reflect all
that is around them and mirror it back for others. They are a reflection of whoever they’re with and
wherever they are. They are empathic. They need to be in the right place with the right community.
If they don’t feel good or like what’s going on with them, then they are in the wrong place with the
wrong people. If they are where it’s correct for them, they will be able to do what they came here to
do.

Reflector Strategy: Waiting through a 28-day lunar cycle.

Reflectors need to talk with others before they make decisions on important things. Their decision-
making process (28 days) begins when an important offer has been made or an invitation is extended
to them by others. They cannot initiate. Every day is different for the Human Design Reflector
because they are lunar beings. How they experience themselves is highly mutable. The Moon makes
a complete cycle through each of the 64 Gates every 28 days. As the moon moves through the chart
of a Reflector, it brings with it consistent changes in definition. What that means is that a Reflector
has a predictable 28-day cycle and predictable changes within their cycle according to the position of
the moon. Because of these consistent changes, a Reflector can anticipate energetic and decisive days
based on their lunar cycle. Because the Human Design Reflector is so changeable and dependent on
the movement of the moon through their chart, the Reflector strategy is to wait 28 days to make a
decision. That does not fit into this culture! They have high sensitivity to the shifting energy of the
moon as it moves through its cycle and to the people and environment around them. Sometimes
Reflectors have to wait out several 28-day cycles.

The emotional theme for the Reflector is disappointment. The disappointment comes from the
pressure to make decisions quickly and from their experience of the world, as they see that the planet
is not fulfilling its mission. When you stand in the aura of a reflector, they truly know you. They are
able to sample and magnify the frequencies around them. This is how they become very wise to their
environment — once they learn discernment and are able to distinguish the other from themselves.
They must have the discernment to make decisions that are correct for them. To help them get clear,
Reflectors need consistent, trustworthy friends in their lives. When Reflectors are making important
decisions they need to be with trusted friends so they have someone to talk with. They have no
internal authority.

The Human Design Reflector has the challenge of being the canary in the coal mine and expressing
the health or illness that’s around them. They need to be reminded that they are not the energy they
are experiencing, and they can be a screen instead of a sponge. Even with all their nine centers open,
Reflectors are not necessarily more vulnerable to conditioning than the other types. Reflectors are
protected by an aura that is resistant and sampling. This allows them to appraise or read their
environment without taking it in too deeply. Once they learn discernment, their auras can protect
them from identifying too strongly with anything they take in through their openness. Reflectors can
learn to live in the moment as they are able to truly appreciate and feel subtle shifts and changes.

The Reflector, like the Projector, is an instrument for the greater good. The Reflector is looking for
perfection in humanity. When everyone is happy, then they feel happy. They have huge compassion.
They are soft beings. Their high expression is their desire to heal the world.

Reflectors and Sleep. Reflectors need to go to bed and lie down before they are tired, and sleep alone,
if possible. Reflectors need lots of alone time to discharge energy. Reflectors, Projectors, and
Manifestors need to be alone in order to discharge energy.

The Reflector Aura. The aura is an invisible energy field that surrounds all living creatures, extending
about 6 feet in every direction. Its frequency communicates who we are to others, and governs the
way we impact or connect with others. The Reflector aura is the “sampling” or “Teflon” aura. Their
aura is the way in which the Reflector tastes the world around it in order to discover what is out of
place or what is different. The Reflector aura is not as vulnerable as the Projector aura.

Reflectors need a lot of love. They need lots of good friends! Reflectors feel the shifts and pain of
the world. Open centers are very sensitive. They do not have sustainable energy. They are not here
to work the traditional work day schedule. Even so, they can amplify the entire archetype of humanity
and can express very big energy for short bursts of time. Their open nature will give the Human
Design Reflector more energy than any other person but they do not have within them the capacity
for this energy to be consistent or sustained. Because of the limited capacity to sustain energy, hard
physical exercise or labor is not correct for the Reflector. Again, what feels good is probably good
for the Reflector as long as they are remembering when enough is enough and not overdoing it!
Otherwise they will burn out at around 35 – 45 years old.

29 day Review, Patience becomes wisdom

You will have perhaps come to appreciate that something is very different in your life and in how
things work for you. You have an extraordinarily unique Design chart in that there are no fixed
Channels and therefore no defined Centers in your chart, which is why all nine of your Centers are
white. Most people have two or more Centers colored in, creating a definition or “set”, distinct way
of relating to the world.

You are like a walking mirror – reflecting the world and others in it back to themselves. You give
other people direct reflections of themselves through how you appear to interact with them. In your
natural and balanced form, you are literally reflecting their world and everyone in it back to them
through your nine undefined Centers.

Reflectors are purely empathic people; you live through all the passions, fears, thought streams,
ambitions, and other qualities present in the people around you. You are extremely sensitive to your
environment. As you may have come to appreciate, you have two ways of handling your sensitivity:
you either become conditioned by the ways of other people, adopting their energies, lifestyles, and
ways of doing things as though they are yours, or, you become enormously wise about the ways of
the world by witnessing everything, reflecting it all, but not necessarily absorbing it. It is vitally
important that you learn to differentiate between these two potentials in your life. Take on too much
of other people’s conditioning and sooner or later you will become weighed down by it. Witness and
reflect the world back to itself and you find your way with grace and ease.

Wherever you go, you can literally “become” your environment, blending in to whatever that
environment holds, be it creative or destructive, conscious or not, upbeat or depressive, you are going
to experience it all, relative to the people in it. Because in the past you have not necessarily
appreciated your very unique nature, you will have often found yourself absorbing everyone and
everything deeply into your own life. This absorption can reach a point where you become
overwhelmed and sometimes deeply disturbed by all the chaos and nonsense you experience as a
result of the unconscious acts lived out in the world around you. This is unsettling and can make you
want to distance your self from people.
If you comprehend the absolute difference of your nature from the vast majority of people, you have
the chance to detach from the experiences and life dramas that are going on around you. Through
detaching, you begin to perceive the enormous levels of wisdom that you naturally accrue through
witnessing all of your interactions and experiences. Finding space in your life is essential, both for
ingesting and processing what you have absorbed, but also for shaking off the input that is unhealthy
for you. Time alone is your healing reverie.

Sensitive to all potential input, you are particularly affected by the movement of the Moon, which
cycles around us roughly every 29 days. The Moon, because of its regularity of movement, cycles in
less than a calendar month through all aspects of the Human Design Life Chart, activating each of the
64 Gates in an ordered sequence. Wherever there is an opening in a Gate in your Life Chart, once a
month, like clockwork, the Moon activates that opening, potentially bringing about a fixed Channel
and two defined Centers for a brief period of time. The Moon moves in sequence through each Gate
of the Life Chart for approximately ten hours, and so, on schedule, month by month, you have a chart
that consistently changes according to the Moon’s movements.

As a Reflector, sometimes you might have your Mind activated, giving you access to a continuing
stream of thoughts; another time you might have a Manifesting chart (for ten hours) during which
time you can find your life becoming busy. Other times, you might become a Generator and find a
burst of invigorating energy sweep through you, or have a defined Spleen Center and experience a
stream of intuitive insights. This interaction with the Moon is the basis for any sense of regularity in
your life. All the other Types experience regularity through their fixed Channels and consistently
defined Centers; as a Reflector, you have the Moon.

The great question since you have no set Design is: How do you find your way through life and how
do you make consistently right decisions for yourself without getting unnecessarily influenced by
everyone else’s input and interests? Remember, you have the Moon giving you a continual pattern
within your whole life. With the Moon passing through each Gate in the chart, you are affected in a
consistent pattern and timing. When you have an important life decision or question come up for you;
for instance, perhaps you are asked to get involved with someone, you will see that in order to be true
to your nature and get the “full picture,” you will need to ride out your 29 day Moon’s rotation before
coming to a conclusion. This obviously does not apply to the every day decisions we all make, but is
very important, really vital, in making any significant life decisions.

During the 29 days, you can read up, research and ask other people all about your dilemma. You can
meditate, pray and do a thorough canvassing around the whole subject. At the end of 29 days, you
will have had the chance to come to your own personal clarity through all the activations and
definitions the Moon has made in your Life Chart. This is one of the most important things for you
to comprehend about your self: that the Moon is your ally and your timekeeper, and that rushing into
any decisions, without doing your own research is going to cause problems for you. Tell the people
in your life this: Before you will make any important decision, you will take a month to consider it.
At the end of the month, if you have lost interest, the answer is, “No”. However if your interest
sustains throughout the month and you experience clarity, then you have your “Yes”! Just as surely
as saying yes to the wrong things will bring you misery, saying yes to the right things brings
fulfillment!
In times past, Reflectors, because of their sensitivity and openness, would often find themselves in
hermitages, the countryside, or in spiritual communities, where they could indulge their need for
privacy, nature, and solitude. In these times, when city life is more prevalent, it is very important that
you discover how unique your makeup is and be watchful to make certain that the flow of life
experiences through you does not overwhelm you. You will recognize your sensitivity and find that
you are in need of space and time to yourself each day so that you can sift through all the influences
to which you are exposed. Without that space for personal reflection, you can live in an ongoing daze
of over-stimulation to a point where you become depleted and disheartened.

We have found that people who relate closely to you have a profound experience in your presence
that can often move them to tears. The tears arise from a deep sense of being seen clearly, having
their true nature reflected so profoundly and lovingly. The person who is not a Reflector comes to
appreciate how benign, passive, and unconditionally loving is the Reflector. Coming to know a
Reflector better, people experience the Reflector’s great wisdom.

Let’s look at the strengths and relative limitations of your Design:

Limitations

• Until you learn about your Design, people can easily take advantage of your sensitivity.

• You have a tendency to absorb other peoples’ feelings, drives, wants, fears and thoughts.

• You may have felt “different” all your life, without an easy acceptance of the beauty of your
difference from others.

• You have a greater need for alone time, and until you understand this well, may have difficulty
extracting yourself form the company of others.

Strengths

• Over time, you develop a profound wisdom that you naturally share with others.

• Through your openness, you can perceive many things that others miss.

• When you give yourself the gift of spending time alone each day, you are able to filter through your
experiences, extracting gems of meaning.

• You have the capacity to offer a pure reflection to others. Through you, others may see themselves
clearly for the first time.
Reflectors, by Design, are some of the most brilliant; most loving and wise people on Earth, but you
must honor yourself and your own special process. This is a “hands off the wheel” lifetime where
what you can trust is your own wisdom.

Reflectors – Mirror, Mirror

Reflectors make up less than 1 % of the human population. Yet they are here to play a vital role. Their
design is unique in that none of their 9 centers are defined. If you look at their chart, (see below), they
are but a ghost of a design with all their whiteness. The truth is that they are our mirror, designed to
be extremely empathetic and understand humanity in a deep way, and give the rest of us a reflection
of where we are at, and how we are doing in life.

Since reflectors have an open design they are heavily influenced by the energy around them. The
people, the places and the events they take part in, are going to deeply impact their energy and sense
of being. With any open center, the energy from around can be amplified and experienced in unlimited
ways. The reflector can become wise about energy because they experience all the flavors of the
rainbow. With emotions they can experience the extremes from sadness and depression to hilarity
and ecstasy. With will power they can experience the subtle finesse of someone trying to get their
way and the brute force of “I want it my way, now!”. They can experience the revved up energy in
a room full of generators and the clam serene of a peaceful mountain top. Their experience can take
on all these dimensions yet the underlying theme is going to be inconsistency.

Because of their openness they will intensely experience these energies when they are around and
then the energy will dissipate when they are not around. The reflector may have difficulty making
decisions because in the moment their is the energy to do something and then it is gone. In another
moment they are identifying with a workshop they want to take and then that identification fades.
The key for the reflector is becoming wise about the energy that surrounds them. If they are with a
Generator it may be a good time to get that project done. If they are with a Manifestor it might be
time to start something. If they are with someone who is oppressive or overbearing they need to shield
themselves. The reflector has openness for wisdom but it can also be a vulnerability.

Additionally reflectors are heavily influenced by the moon. The moon makes a pass though all 64
gates of the I’Ching about every 29 days. As it activates each gate, if this gate activates a channel in
the reflectors design, the reflector becomes defined in certain centers. While this definition only lasts
for about 10 hours, they are defined and they can take on the characteristics of the type associated
with that definition. They can become or feel like a Projector, Manifestor, Generator or Manifesting
Generator. This is a cyclical pattern that they will experience over and over again each 29 day cycle.
It is therefore useful for the reflector to look at that pattern as they can begin to understand how this
cyclical energy impacts them and how to potentially use it.
Speak your truth

It is always more powerful when you speak your truth!

That is a common saying but what exactly does it mean? In human design terms it means expressing
yourself with your authenticate energy. Energy in your design comes in 2 basic different flavors.

Defined energy is consistent and you can typically draw on it at will.

In the human design chart it is represented by:

 a colored in line called a channel.

 a colored in half line called a gate.
 a colored in shape called a center.

Undefined energy is inconsistent so you cannot rely on it all the time. It is energy that you can draw
from those and the environment around you or I also believe you can channel at times from the
universe.

In the human design chart undefined energy is represented by a white line, white half line or white
shape.

There is a special case of undefined energy in human design called an open center. An open center
has no defined gates to affect the energy so by being open it can more dramatically amplify or channel
energy related to the expression of that center. See the chart of James Earl Jones below, he has 4 open
centers.

So the power of human design is to bring awareness to what energies/expression you have
consistently and what energies you don’t. With this awareness you can use your defined energies as
your “go to” or base, and let the undefined energies compliment or enhance your authentic expression.
Please note, the undefined energies need to have an authentic basis. If you try to manufacture them
from nothing they will come off as phony.

Since the first time I saw this in the movie Field of Dreams, I felt it was one of the most powerful
speeches I had seen. I wasn’t sure why, I mean I like baseball but am not really a baseball historian
or avid fan.
Reflectors

Aura: Resistant and Sampling

Reflectors have no fixed definition in their charts, which means that all of their Center’s are white
with very little definition. That definition changes with the transits and by who is in their aura. The
Reflector brings ultimate justice to reality by reflecting everything around them and by judging what
is going on.

The Reflector is very different from the other types. The other types can be referred to as ‘solar’ types
wit their chemistry rooted in the sun. The Reflector is the only lunar type, reflecting the imprint of
the moon.

Reflectors are not necessarily interested in themselves or the other, nor are they concerned about their
impact. They are interested in knowing who they are today because every day is different. They are
connected to the larger program of planetary transits.

Reflectors are the most resilient of all of the types because of their resistant and sampling of aura’s.
Their aura resists taking in the ‘other’ too deeply and it allows for them to sample the aura of the
other so that the can discover if the other is ready to step out and express their uniqueness rather than
be absorbed in the homogenized world.

If Reflectors understand their design and know themselves well, they are completely protected from
identifying with anything at all. They have the ability to see things in a way that no one else can and
magnify everything and everyone around them.

They are a key in the global conscious field filtering consciousness and detecting a ‘blip’ when
something is unusual or out of the ordinary. They can tell who is ready to break the mold of the
homogenized world, point them out of the crowd and lead them to their own unique expression. This
is what really surprises a Reflector and brings them joy.

The greatest gift is to read others and to be one with the totality. They have the opportunity for a
mystical life that many of us cannot know. Unfortunately, most Reflectors are living the homogenized
life and try to be something they are not. As long as they maintain a wonder about life, detaching
from the state of the world to stay in disappointment. It is important to stay present with the moment,
reflecting each moment.

The most important issue for a Reflector is the right environment and the right community.

Reflectors need to be in the heart of the community so that they can learn from those around them
while not becoming dependant on them.

With an Open G Center, the Reflector is highly sensitive to the environment and the people in it. If
they are uncomfortable, then they are in the wrong place. If Reflectors are in a sick environment, they
may get sick themselves or not feel well.
The Reflectors Strategy is unique from the other types in that it moves with the moon’s 28 day cycle
where it transits through all the 64 gates in the bodygraph. There is a consistency in the Reflectors
process by the imprint of the moon set for them for life. In the monthly moon transit cycle, The moon
moves through its cycle ‘hooking’ up gates opposite what is defined in the chart causing a definition
pattern that is consistent in the Reflectors life. Charting the moons movement through their chart is
essential for Reflectors.

“All of the possibilities of conditioning, is what the Reflector is here to take in. But it is not what you
are here to succumb to. You are not here to be emotional beings, you’re not here to feel good all the
time, otherwise you’ll lose your alertness and stop really being of value. You’re not here to be
workers, you’re not. You’re here to be critics, you’re here to be guides, you’re here to be judges,
you’re here to be sensors. You’re here to be those that can truly sense what is going on around you.
But first, you have to be healthy, and being healthy for you begins with entering into the right place
correctly. Once you have the right place, as a base, you can build from that. But you really have to
see, how important it is for you to understand; Don’t be like everybody else! You know, this is

REFLECTOR’S RELATIONSHIP STRATEGY

You are here to be a mirror for others, not to initiate actions.

You need to wait 29 days before making important decisions in your life and observe how you feel
about the decision all along the way. It’s best to journal about it daily to keep track of your thoughts
and feelings on the subject.

You need a reliable and supportive group of friends you can talk with about your decisions, bouncing
ideas and concerns off them so you can see those issues reflected back to you. This may be frustrating
to your friends, but it’s the only way for you to know how those issues really sit with you.

Once you have a sense of what feels right for you and make your decision, then you may take any/all
actions needed to implement the decision.

Major life decisions may require more than one 29-day cycle for clarity about the right choice for
you.
