alla capacità di prendere iniziative è la rabbia che non può essere assolutamente gestita o incanalata;
impatto.
=======================================================================

I MANIFESTATORI

immediatamente, senza aspettare nessuno.
reciprocamente, dipendere dagli altri, senza eccezioni.
Entrando in
allora viene punito.
I genitori devono imparare a trattarlo

The Manifestor

Know Yourself - by Lynda Bunnell

In my last Newsletter article (click here to read) I gave you a brief introduction to the Four Types...
The Manifestor, Generator, Projector and Reflector. And I said that we would explore each type. We
will begin with the Manifestor.

Each Type has a correct way in which their energy interacts with those around them and with life.
Once we have our Human Design Analysis, then we know our Type, Strategy and Authority. And
once we know these things, we know how to make decisions correctly for our life. When you really
think about it, making decisions is the most important thing we do in life. As most of us have
experienced, just one incorrect decision can really take us off our path in life.

If you come into the world as a Manifestor, you are here to “initiate”. The Manifestor is the only one
of the four types that is designed to initiate. The other three types are not initiators and they can
become very frustrated and bitter from the resistance they meet when they do initiate.
Manifestors are rare beings. They make up only 8% of the population. One of the things Human
Design reveals to us is how we humans can operate in the world with as little resistance as possible.
It shows us how we can align our energy (our design) with the environment. It shows us the different
types of people and their roles in life, and how each type is designed to operate correctly with little
‘resistance’.

Manifestors are very powerful beings and they are usually unaware of their power. Each decision
they make has an impact or consequence which affects the people in their life. Most Manifestors are
unaware of the impact they have on others so when they go through life just doing their thing without
considering how they impact others they are usually met with resistance. It is the powerful
Manifesting aura people sense in Manifestors that causes them to feel the need to control the
Manifestor, and this creates resistance in the life of the Manifestor.

When a Manifestor is confronted with resistance they become angry. They do not like dealing with
resistance. They do not like someone questioning them or controlling them. Manifestors have an aura
of being able to go through life without the need of others. And, in a way, it’s true. They don’t ‘need’
the other in terms of creating what they want to create because they are the one type that is designed
to initiate.

However, it’s because of this aura that people try to stop and control Manifestors. To other people
the Manifestor seems out of control. This theme of being controlled begins in childhood. From the
start, the parents are aware that they have a child that can and will do what ever he wants. This creates
the dynamic of the parents controlling the child. If you have a Manifestor child the best thing to do is
to teach her/him to be polite and ask permission before going off to do what she wants and explain
that by asking permission she will avoid getting into trouble.

Unfortunately most Manifestors have been so controlled in their lives that they are not living up to
their fullest potential. They have been so beaten down by control that they are out of touch with their
own power and have become either very passive or very angry people.

Each Type has a Strategy. The Strategy for a Manifestor is to Inform. Once a Manifestor has made a
decision, he needs to settle in and consider all the people that will be impacted by his decision. Before
he takes action toward his new decision, he needs to inform those that will be impacted. If he does
not then he is setting himself up for resistance. If he informs he will meet far less resistance. It does
not mean people will like his decision but fewer people will be concerned with trying to control him.

Ten Things You Need to Know About Manifestors (Human Design)

Ah, yes. The manifestor.

Perhaps the most misunderstood class in the human design system.
…but also the most envied. Everyone *thinks* they want to be a manifestor. Sitting at only 8% of the
world’s population, we manifestors are a rare bunch.
On the surface, manifestors are the most desirable class to be. We’re the only class that’s self-
contained. We need nobody. We’re also the only class that can initiate action. Every other class has
to wait.
Historically, the world was run by manifestors. They were the Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt, for
example. Having the tendency to be rulers, manifestors have really set the stage for how people should
live their lives.
But being a manifestor is not all that it’s cracked up to be. In this article I will debunk the most
common myths about manifestors in an effort to inspire you to work with them instead of against
them.
Manifestors bring a beautiful dynamic to planet earth. But it’s not an easy journey for us. And until
we’re more understood, our existence will continue to impact people in negative ways.
Whether you know a manifestor or not, you’re bound to run into one. And it will be obvious. It is
therefore crucial that you take a few moments to understand their impact. If you’re a manifestor, don’t
hesitate to reach out to me…I will help you and guide you to your greatest destiny.
So let’s get started. Here’s the list, in no particular order:

Ten Things You Need to Know About Manifestors (Human Design)

#1 – Our aura is dense.

Manifestors are designed to push people out of the way. We repel other people emotionally as well
as physically. Although essential to our design, this tends to distance us from other people. It’s
common for manifestors to experience profound feelings of loneliness.

#2 – We don’t get to choose what we manifest.

I can’t even begin to tell you how much I struggled with this. For years I practiced the Law of
Attraction with pretty much ZERO results. And now I know that’s because manifestors are stuck in
the matrix just like everyone else. Little do non-manifestors know, we also have to wait. You see, in
order to manifest properly and healthily, the manifestor must wait until they achieve clarity in the
body. And manifestors with a defined emotional center, like myself, must learn to wait an entire
emotional cycle before making big decisions.
It can be a really dangerous thing when a manifestor thinks they know what they want to manifest.
Usually, this means they’re manifesting from the mind and not the body. The best thing a manifestor
can do for everyone is slow their mind down and learn to get in-tune and aware of their body. Clarity
is the ultimate goal, not “certainty”. Certainty comes from the mind and clarity comes from the body.
If there are any feelings of nervousness or anxiety in the body, then you are not clear. Wait for clarity.
By the way, this also goes for the other classes as well. Learn to be guided by your heart…and by
your body…not your mind.

#3 – STOP trying to control manifestors!!

Oh my God. For the love of all that is holy…STOP IT. Stop trying to control manifestors. Stop telling
us what to do. Stop trying to get us in a box. It fucking pisses us off and breeds resentment for all the
other classes. Human Design is most effective when there’s harmony between the classes. Nothing
disenfranchises the manifestor more than telling them what to do.
Many people make this mistake and it ends up leaving them frustrated, sad, and/or heartbroken. Face
it: manifestors are lone wolves and can be extremely impulsive. Don’t take this personally. It’s just
how manifestors are. If you ever stop hearing from a manifestor for a while, just assume that they
went to go do a bunch of things.

#4 – Manifestors are always doing stuff.

Manifestors tend to be very busy because they are designed to take action and initiate/create. They
strive to have a huge impact on the world. Although manifestors cannot sustain long-term energy
output like generators can, their minds remain highly active at all times. Manifestors who are
functioning healthily usually have two modes: exploding and regenerating. Their creative energy is
released in powerful blasts that can leave the manifestor feeling drained for several hours or days at
a time.

#5 – Let us recharge!
Look, I know how this sounds…but we manifestors require lots of rest. Since our minds are highly
active, our bodies need to relax a lot of the time. That way, when it’s time to act we can explode into
impressive action that’s characteristic of a manifestor. Most people are in awe of the explosive
spontaneity of manifestors…but I find it far more impressive to watch a generator crank out
consistent energy day-after-day for long stretches of time. If you’re a generator, remember that
you’re designed for energy output…manifestors are not. Please…let us rest.

#6 – Leave us alone!
We’re lone wolves…no offense to you or anyone. Don’t try to trap a manifestor or get them to stay.
Let them go. If you do, it will increase the odds that they’ll be back. You can make a manifestor feel
comfortable with commitment if you give him or her lots of freedom in the relationship. Manifestors
can make great partners if you’re willing to support them by reminding of their strategy to inform.

#7 – Remind manifestors to inform.

It is not uncommon for manifestors to become obsessed with ideas flying around in their heads. When
this happens, it’s really easy for them to act impulsively without informing people of their actions.
Because of this, manifestors can be seen as confusing, or even intimidating. No other class exhibits
the initiative and spontaneity of the manifestor. It is for this reason that people are constantly trying
to control them. The only way for manifestors to eliminate this resistance is by informing those close
to them about their intentions.
If you’re a manifestor, informing is your friend. Remember that you’re not doing it for anyone but
yourself. The purpose of informing is not to ask permission…it’s so you can meet with less resistance.
By informing, you not only decrease resistance, but you’ll find that people actually want to support
you and rally around those movements that you initiate as a manifestor. But…please…show respect
to the other classes by first asking them or at least letting them know that you’re about to inform.
Before you deliver the impact, ask: “Is it okay if I tell you something?”
Manifestors…make sure you’re making a clean impact on the world by knowing your power and
respecting those people who might be affected by it. In just two words: be nice.

#8 – The traditional manifestor model is dead.

The last thing the world needs is more rulers. As the world becomes more globally conscious, the
need for rulers decreases. Manifestors in today’s world need to stay far away from any impulses to
rule over the other classes. Instead, focus on initiating and then moving on. Stick and move,
manifestor. It is in this way that you will set the example by going first.
This is not to say that manifestors are not born leaders. We are. But we have to be careful to not
confuse “leading” with “ruling.” Sometimes there’s a fine line…and keep in mind that a true leader
always leads among, not above.

#9 – The role of the manifestor is counter-intuitive.

When the word “manifestor” is used, images of domineering rulership often come to mind. But upon
closer examination, you’ll see that a healthy manifestor is there to serve others. If you look at initiating
as a service to the non-initiating classes, then you’re truly using your powers for the good of the
planet. Traditionally, manifestors have a “receiving” (read: taking) energy. But manifestors in the
new world should instead focus on giving. You can still be a lone wolf and contribute to the overall
harmony of the planet. If you are a manifestor and you want to have a good life, focus on using your
powers to be of service to others, not at odds with them.

#10 – Manifestors can often be intimidating.

The manifestor is designed to push energy out of the way, which is useful for clearing old/negative
energy on the planet. On top of this, manifestors have an initiating energy that’s often spontaneous.
Because of this, it’s quite normal for the other types to feel a little bit insecure or fearful around
manifestors. If you don’t understand their frequency, it can easily come across as quite intimidating.
Because of this, many people are constantly suspicious and on-guard around manifestors, which can
get really tiresome for everyone involved. This level of resistance can really take its toll on
manifestors, driving many of them to give up manifesting altogether.

#11 (Bonus) – Manifestors are NOT generators.

Generators love telling manifestors what to do and how to do it. To a generator, the world is an
entirely different experience. Generators…listen up! We do not have the same energy signature that
you do. We are not designed to output energy all day every day. If you’re a generator, count your
blessings and be grateful for your abilities. But stop holding us manifestors to your standards. We
can’t do what you do. Our energy is an initiating one, not a sustaining one. It is severely damaging to
the mind, body, and soul of a manifestor to behave as if he/she is a generator. It might take many
years, but eventually serious mental and physical health problems can emerge from a manifestor
trying to keep up with a generator. Stop trying to keep up with the generator…you won’t be able to
anyway.

#12 (Bonus) – We’re here to experience deep peace.

Everyone loves peace. But the ultimate goal of every manifestor is to experience deep peace. It is so
intertwined with who they are, that it’s essential for them to achieve peace in their lives. As my good
friend John Martin says, “There is a sweetness about a manifestor that’s just being authentic.” When
you combine the dense and hard aura of a manifestor with their genuine sweetness, you end up
creating a beautiful harmony that can create a massive positive resonance in the world. So be nice to
us, okay? We love you!

Manifestors: It’s Not Personal

The Manifestor aura has been described as closed, repellent, or non-attractive. The mystery for the
other types is that the Manifestors closed aura mechanically triggers a pull-back reaction. A
Manifestors presence doesn’t feel like everyone else’s; where they stand is guarded in the energy
field. Manifestors can seem unavailable, that they that cannot be reached; no matter how much effort
is made by the other, or by the Manifestor.
Two arm lengths in every direction, the aura field is different for each Type. The Manifestors aura
is the very first experience that we have in meeting a Manifestor. The unique way in which the
Manifestor aura is experienced is at the root of many of the difficulties in being a Manifestor; and
it at the root of how the mind interprets our interactions with Manifestors.
I am an Emotional Generator daughter of an Emotional Manifestor father, and the mother of an
Emotional Manifestor son, and the aura phenomenon of the Manifestor is deeply familiar to me. For
years, before my Human Design experiment, my mind turned the mechanical differences between
us into stories of not being loved, and of not being loving enough, the Unavailable Father, and the
Unreachable Child. I made the Manifestor mechanics personal to me.
I remember this feeling with my son, especially when he was a baby. How I felt towards him when
I was alone was distinctly different than how I felt when I was with him. I loved my son deeply;
and yet, the minute I stepped into his aura, there was a subtle pull-back, a mental dialog
of something’s not quite right with me, with him, with how being together felt. As a parent, I pushed
through these thoughts, and yet, never truly felt like I connected deeply with my son; at least, not as
much as my mind thought I should or could.
Even today, when I step into my 94 year old father’s aura, there is a subtle, energetic pulling back
that takes place within me. There is a subtle cringe in my energy, an ego push to want him to be
different than he is. I now know that this experience is based upon my conditioning: my push to be
in control, my emotional drive to make him feel/seem more like a Generator, so that I feel more
comfortable with him.
For me, the beauty of experiencing the mechanics of Human Design is in the deep recognition of
what is, not what my mind thinks what could be, should be, if only. When I recognized that my
father and son were simply closed, I realized that their aura wasn’t personal. It wasn’t about me,
about love, or anything else my inner dialog could interpret. My experience is simply a function of
the differences between us: my open-to-everything-in-life aura, and their closed-to-everyone aura.
The nature of this closed aura protects the Manifestor from being influenced by others. The great
gift of the Manifestor design is their power to initiate, to put into words and action the energy of
their non-sacral motors. By being closed to influence, they carry the potential to be deeply aligned
to their Inner Authority as the guide for their actions. What most Manifestors fail to recognize in
their closed aura, is that their words and actions impact others. The Manifestor operates behind
closed doors, so when they act or speak it has great impact. It can feel like what they say or do
comes out of nowhere – others can’t sense it, can feel blind-sided.
This impact upon others is why the strategy of informing others before initiating can be life changing
for a Manifestor. With the act of informing, they begin to recognize their own impact upon others;
not to be influenced by the other, but to acknowledge the interconnectedness, even when they do
not feel it. And, by informing others, they build a communication bridge of trust with others.
It is important to teach a Manifestor child to have good manners, to develop the strategy of asking
permission. Asking permission is the child’s process of developing the recognition that what they
do impacts others. Within the strategy of asking permission is an acknowledgment, that in this case,
for now, this is not the child’s decision; it is not the child’s mind that gets to decide, but the Inner
Authority of the parent. Gradually, as the child develops their awareness of their Inner Authority,
decisions are moved from the responsibility of the parent’s Inner Authority to the child’s Inner
Authority; asking permission becomes the act of informing.
What many Manifestors fail to recognize is that the act of informing is also the moment that they
can develop the awareness of their Inner Authority. So often decision making in Manifestors is
presented as ‘they can do what they want’. This is not true. Manifestors are not here to make mental
decisions, nor are they here to make personal ego decisions. The one Ego Manifesting channel is
the 45/21 which deals with the material wellbeing of the tribe: which is an Inner Authority decision
based upon serving the greater good.
It is in the act of informing that the Manifestor has the opportunity to be aware of their Inner
Authority. Not everything the Manifestor informs about is going to actually happen, not all thoughts
become initiated. Manifestors are built to only initiate action upon what they recognize as correct
in that moment of informing; either through their emotional clarity of informing multiple times, or
splenic awareness in the Now of informing, or the ego push/pull towards the greater good.
Otherwise, it is just another thought, another idea that comes and goes, regardless of who or how
many times they have informed others about it.
Mature Manifestors find great peace in not having to do everything their mind thinks, or their ego
wants. One of the consistent themes I’ve noticed among all the Manifestors in my life is their drive
to be left alone to do their own thing. To be left in peace. To not have to deal with the continual
interference of those who want them to be available all the time. To be left alone to do or not do, to
simply enjoy being, as they are.

Noticing Your Life 9/12/16

======================================================================
THE MANIFESTOR

Life Purpose: Translate inspiration into form

Strategy: Inform, then act

Emotional Theme: Anger

Wealth Theme: Non-verbal creative flow

Challenges: Sustainability (work), burnout, power, not needing others, interruptions to creative flow,
impact on others

Percentage: Less than 8% of the population

The life purpose of the Manifestor is to initiate action and creation.

The Manifestor is uniquely different from all of the other other Types in that the Manifestor is the
only Type who doesn't have to wait for an outside force to help them recognize right timing.

Manifestors have an inner creative process. The process is non-verbal and difficult to explain and
express to others so answering questions or asking for help can be difficult for the Manifestor because
you have a hard time explaining what you're doing.

When a Manifestor is creating, they are simply moving. The timing of their movement is internal and
attuned to their unique creative flow. Once a Manifestor gets an idea, to make it happen, all they have
to do is wait for the timing to feel right and then go take action.

In addition, it is the role of the Manifestor to process inspiration and translate it into action. It is the
role of the Manifestor to make an idea happen, even if they don't finish the job and do the grunt work
associated with the manifestation of an idea (that's the role of the Generator Types...), it's their job in
life to get the proverbial ball rolling. When you they don't, it can actually cause them to shut down
their creative energy and their power to manifest abundance.

Because Manifestors are often following their own inner creative flow and consequently, deeply
attuned to their own process, it's easy for other people to misunderstand or misinterpret the Manifestor
energy. Manifestors can make life easier for yourself (and their loved ones) if they learn to inform
others before they follow their creative impulses.

Informing isn't natural or easy. Manifestors often have their energy shut down or their creative
impulse judged or squashed. Because of this, many Manifestors learn to hide their power and even
hide what they're really up to.

Manifestors are not here to be stopped or told what to do. They may have also felt that taking the time
to find the words to express their creative flow is so difficult that it's easier for them to do things for
themselves, thank you very much, than it is for them to try to find the words and ask for help. It can
also be difficult if someone, with the best of intentions, tries to help them.
In response, the Manifestor can feel angry if they have to stop what they're doing and try to find the
words to describe it to someone else. This can sometimes lead to other people thinking that
Manifestors are self-absorbed or not a "team player." Neither of these things is necessarily true.

It's simply that the Manifestor is in their flow and if they have to stop the flow for some reason, they
know that they might not pick it up again in the same way.

Manifestors are often afraid to tell people what they are doing. They often have a lifetime experience
of people trying to stop or control them and, especially as children, they learn to quietly do what their
creative impulse tells them to do. But, when the Manifestor fails to inform, it makes the emotional
theme of anger much more prevalent in their lives.

People get confused by what the Manifestor is doing and they react negatively. Manifestors need to
inform and they also need to follow their creative flow, no matter what anyone else thinks or says.

This can be hard for sensitive Manifestors.

To stay connected with their abundance, Manifestors have to take the action that feels right to them
no matter what anyone else thinks or says.

Manifestors do not have sustainable energy. They need cycles of rest and restoration. Consequently,
working in the traditional way we think of as working isn't healthy or even profitable for the
Manifestor (burnout is a possibility). Manifestos do well with work that involves getting something
started and then moving on or work that is cyclical in nature.
The Manifestor
Energetic, powerful, effective, impulsive, and mysterious, Manifestors are one of the rarest types in
the Human Design system, making up just 9 percent of the population.

The Manifestor’s Chart

Besides having your type listed in the keynotes section of your chart, you can identify your type as
a Manifestor because:

 You have a direct defined channel from the Throat Center to one or more of the motor
centers.
 You have an open Sacral Center (see figures 19–21).

Figure 19: A Manifestor has a direct defined channel from the Throat Center to one or more of the motor
centers—in this case the Solar Plexus.

Figure 20: A Manifestor with a defined Throat to Root

Figure 21: A Manifestor with a defined Throat to Ego

When a motor is directly connected to the Throat Center, it gives a person the energy to start things,
such as conversations, or even businesses, without waiting. Manifestors have the energy to start
things, unlike most of us, who have to wait for an opportunity or invitation.

A Manifestor is constantly manifesting in their mind. When a Manifestor gets an idea, they just go
do it. And they can usually do it quite well. A Manifestor is the only type that is pure energy.

Secretly we are all conditioned to believe that we are Manifestors. We are told as small children to
“just do it” and to “go out and make things happen.” For most of us, this becomes a frustrating
experience that never really bears the fruit we intend it to.

In spite of their tremendous initiating energy, a Manifestor is not able to work in a sustainable fashion.
(This is represented by their open Sacral Center.) A regular Monday through Friday, nine-to-five job
is exhausting for a Manifestor, and most Manifestors faced with those kinds of work options will feel
overwhelmed or even angry.

Because Manifestors are the only type who can truly just do things without waiting, their energy can
make people a little uneasy—especially if they don’t understand their own energy. When a Manifestor
speaks or enters the room, most people will feel their energy—they will have a powerful presence,
and a powerful voice to match—but no one ever really knows what a Manifestor is about to do. This
creates an aura of mystery and sometimes even nervousness.

Because Manifestors can initiate action, they don’t necessarily need others to make things happen. A
Manifestor gets into a kind of “manifesting groove” and simply creates in accordance with their
powerful creative energy.

Manifestors can often have communication issues. Being so energetic and driven, a Manifestor in
action can resemble a bullet train speeding to its final destination. But what Manifestors sometimes
don’t realize is that there are people waiting at stations along the way hoping to get on, but the train
doesn’t ever stop. The people waiting for the train either feel angry or left out; they’re confused and
frustrated. If they’re going the same way, why can’t the Manifestor slow down for a second so they
can make their way together? Eventually they may give up and catch a different train.

The Manifestor, meanwhile, doesn’t see what the problem is. Didn’t she get to the destination with
great efficiency and speed? Why are others trying to control her process? (She is doing very well on
her own, thank you very much!) You can see how these two perspectives—one collaborative, the
other individualistic and results-driven—might clash on some points.

The Manifestor’s Strategy: Inform

The Manifestor’s strategy is to inform others of her actions. A powerful Manifestor can soften the
impact of her energy and harness it to serve herself and others by taking note of all the people who
will be impacted by her actions and then tell them what to expect.

Informing does not come naturally for Manifestors, and they may feel controlled or manipulated by
their impact field. Manifestors are not here to be told what to do. Most Manifestors do not tell others
what they are doing because they learned very early on that others will try to stop them or tell them
that what they want to do is not possible.

But Manifestors who understand that informing can improve their relationships and remove
resistance, will create support for their power and creative energy. It is important for Manifestors to
remember that just because they inform doesn’t mean that they have to stop or change what they are
doing. They are just letting people know what to expect.

And just as others will feel more loved when a Manifestor shares their plans, so too will Manifestors
also feel more loved and respected when others inform them about what is happening. If you love a
Manifestor, tell them about what you are doing. It helps them create and takes away some of their
natural anger.

Special Traits: Power Struggles

In the short run, a Manifestor can amplify the energy of the Sacral Center and do more work than the
average person. But because Manifestors do not have sustainable energy, others may feel frustrated
with their apparent laziness once their initial energy burst peters out.

Remember, Manifestors are not here to work; they are here to initiate. Just because Manifestors can
initiate activity, one must not assume that a Manifestor can work long hours doing physical labor or
other types of the “daily grind.”

The Manifestor’s Health

Manifestors need breaks and time to discharge excess energy out of their system. This can make them
look like slackers and loners. But the need to retreat and rest is vital for maintaining the Manifestor’s
health.

It is not uncommon for Manifestors to struggle with insomnia or wakefulness at night. Because
Manifestors do not have a defined Sacral Center, they are not designed to be “worn out” at the end of
the day, and they need to lie down and relax before they can fall asleep. This means that Manifestors
get healthy sleep when they go to bed before they are tired. If a non-Sacral person waits until they are
exhausted to go to sleep, then the quality of their sleep may be poor.

Manifestors will also tend to sleep better by themselves. Manifestor children tend to do better if they
have their own room and sleeping space as well. The idea of sleeping alone can be difficult for
Manifestors to understand, but this is not a personal issue. The time spent sleeping alone helps the
Manifestor discharge the extra Sacral energy they have been amplifying throughout the day.
Manifestors will sleep better, feel better, and be healthier in the end if they get a chance to renew their
energy. And they will do it their own way. They are designed to.

Parenting the Manifestor Child

The Manifestor child poses an interesting challenge to parents. Truly, this is a child who is
energetically designed to survive challenges and be naturally self-directed. Many Manifestor children
grow up learning that they have to shut down their power, or they have to secretly just do what they
want to do. Because of this, the idea of informing for a Manifestor is not only unnatural, it can seem
frightening. The Manifestor is scared that people will try to tell them they can’t do what they want to
do or that they will be punished for being too powerful.

Most parents immediately sense that this is going to be a child who will need a lot of control. The
parents do this not because they are willful or uncaring, but because the Manifestor child will do
things that might seem dangerous or frightening to the parents. For example, a Manifestor child may
look outside and see that it is a beautiful day. He looks down the street and notices the lovely forest
at the end of the road. Because this is a child who is designed to follow his inspiration without any
need for waiting, he goes out the back gate, down the street, and enjoys the forest for the afternoon
(or maybe longer).

Truthfully, the Manifestor child is designed to be just fine staying in the forest for days if that is what
he wants to do. But this can certainly be a frightening experience for a parent. A natural response
would be to exert more control than usual over the child in order to keep him safe.

If you have identified your child as being a Manifestor, you must teach her to inform from the start.
This process may take time, but it will serve your child for a lifetime. As a parent, it is normal to
experience resistance if you tell Manifestors (or any children, for that matter) what to do. Instead,
parents should empower these children to make choices so that they do not get deadlocked in a power
struggle.

When parents approach the Manifestor child with an attitude of win/win conflict resolution, the child
learns that her parents and others care about helping her get her needs met. This allows the Manifestor
child to be more open to informing and staying deeply connected to her inherent power.

Affirmations for the Manifestor

 I am a powerful being. I do not have to wait to exert my power.

 I make note of all the people who will be impacted by my actions and inform them about my
actions. They do not have to like what I do or even agree to help me, and their resistance does
not mean that I have to stop my actions.
 My actions give others things to respond to. By giving others things to respond to I am taking
my place in the natural order of creation.

I always attract the right people who will support my creative flow.

The Human Design Manifestor: The Producers

Manifestors are one of the rarest Types in the Human Design system, making up approximately 8%
of the population. Manifestors are the only Type who are pure energy beings because they have a
direct defined channel from the Throat Center to one or more of the motors (Will Center, Root Center
and Emotional Solar Plexus). However, a Manifestor never has a Sacral Motor (Sacral Center)
defined. This means that Manifestors, in spite of their tremendous initiating energy, are not here to
work in a sustainable fashion. A regular Monday-through-Friday, nine-to-five job is exhausting for a
Manifestor and most Manifestors, when faced with that as their work option, will feel exhausted or
even angry. Because the open Sacral takes in work force energy and amplifies it, it can work
intensively for a short period of time, but not for a long period of time. The open Sacral is not here to
work in the traditional way. The open sacral types are not here to work sustainably. They cannot
maintain the traditional work schedule forever. Projectors crash at 40. Manifestors seem to be able to
hang on a bit longer, 45 – 52. Burnout can manifest as an auto-immune disorder, depression…the
body eventually breaks down if the Manifestor does not leverage her energy correctly.

Manifestors absolutely have to be out in the world making things happen for their life. They are the
billiard ball on the billiard table. A Manifestor who does not initiate will fry their circuits. You are an
energy volcano, and if that energy has nowhere to go you will shut down, your creativity will shut
down and you might also get sick. Your Life Purpose is often about leading change by sharing new
ideas, pushing people beyond their comfort level, and empowering them to do things in new ways.

When a motor is directly connected to the Throat Center, it gives a person the energy to start things
such as conversations and businesses without waiting. (Unlike the other four types.) A Manifestor
will have a powerful voice and a powerful presence. When a Manifestor speaks or enters the room,
most people will feel their energy. Because Manifestors are the only Type who can truly just do things
without waiting, the energy of a Manifestor can make people a little uneasy or uncertain. No one ever
really knows what the Manifestor is about to do. When a Manifestor gets an idea, they just go do it.
And they can usually do it quite well. They are designed to just do things.
Manifestor Strategy: Inform

The Manifestor strategy is to inform others of their actions before they take action. However,
Manifestors move so fast that they feel that it takes too much time to explain. Ultimately, slowing
down and informing others about what they’re doing, as angry as it makes them, will in the long run
save the Manifestor a lot of time and disruption, judgment and misunderstanding.

A powerful Manifestor can soften the impact of her energy and harness it energy to serve herself and
others by taking note of all the people who will be impacted by her actions and then tell them what
to expect. Informing does not come naturally for Manifestors and they may feel controlled or
manipulated by their impact field. Manifestors are not here to be told what to do. Most Manifestors
do not tell others what they are doing because they learned very early on that others will try to stop
them or tell them that what they want to do is not possible. But, Manifestors who understand that
informing can improve their relationships and remove resistance will create support for their power
and creative energy. It is important for Manifestors to remember that just because they inform doesn’t
mean that they have to stop or change what they are doing. They are just letting people know what to
expect.

In addition to informing, Manifestors also feel more loved and respected when they themselves are
informed about what is happening. If you love a Manifestor, inform them about what you are doing.
It helps them create and takes away some of the natural anger that can be triggered in the Manifestor.

What are some of the challenges for the Manifestor? All of the other types have a decision-making
strategy that is sourced or rooted in the external world. They have an opportunity to wait for things
to manifest in their outer reality and confirm for them what direction to go in. Manifestor inspiration
comes from within, but because of that there can be some hesitancy and lack of clarity about what to
do. Often, the Manifestor just has to do it. Only after the fact will they know whether it’s correct for
them or not. It is important that the Manifestor maintain an inner connection with themselves or their
higher power. A Manifestor must have a connection to an internal voice that’s bigger than them in
order for them to have clarity for where they need to go, what to do next.

The emotional theme of Manifestors is anger. Anger often happens when people try to slow you
down, help you, or tell you you can’t do something. Not having the skills to manage anger properly
can sometimes be destructive. Manifestors often struggle with knowing when enough is enough. If
you’re a Manifestor, it’s important to gauge the impact of what you’re doing to make sure you’re not
frying everyone else’s energy and burning them out.

The Manifestor Aura. The aura is an invisible energy field that surrounds all living creatures,
extending about 6 feet in every direction. Its frequency communicates who we are to others, and
governs the way we impact or connect with others. The Manifestor has a closed and repelling aura.
The moment someone comes towards a Manifestor, their own aura is pushed back.

Manifestors And Sleep

Sleep can be a big problem for Manifestors. Because Manifestors do not have a defined Sacral Center,
they are not designed to be “worn out” at the end of the day like a Generator. Non-sacral people need
to lie down and rest before they can fall asleep — before they feel sleepy. This means that
Manifestors, Projectors, and Reflectors get healthy sleep when they go to bed and lie down before
they are tired. If a non-sacral person waits until they are exhausted to go to sleep, the quality of their
sleep may be poor. It is not uncommon for non-sacral people to struggle with insomnia or wakefulness
at night.

They will also tend to sleep better by themselves. The time spent alone sleeping helps the Manifestor
discharge the extra Sacral energy that they have amplified all day. The idea of sleeping alone can be
difficult for Generators to understand but this is not a personal issue. Manifestors will sleep better,
feel better and be healthier if they get a chance to renew their energy.

Manifestor Keywords: • Initiator • Innovator • Powerhouse • Thought leader • Provoking • Paradigm-

buster• Can be a lone wolf • Edgy and experimental

=======================================================================

A Manifestor

The Throat is the center of action and communication. Because a motor (energy source) is connected
to the Throat, and therefore has an outlet of expression, a Manifestor can initiate action. This is the
key attribute of Manifestors; they can successfully initiate actions and conversations without needing
to respond or be invited.

In America, most of us are raised and conditioned to be Manifestors, but very few of us have the
Design to be one. Trying to force things to happen, without a motor connected to the Throat, causes
frustration, pain, disease and unhappiness.

Throughout history, until the middle of the Twentieth Century, the ability to initiate was so important
that Manifestors became our kings, queens and leaders. Manifestors effectively enslaved the other
Types by harnessing their energies for the Manifestors' objectives. Today, by following our
Strategies, the need for a Manifestor leader has passed.

Manifestors are not here to be controlled by anyone. You can't tell them what to do. Ironically,
although we are raised to be Manifestors, children who actually are Manifestors are often severely
punished because they do things of their own accord without asking permission or informing. This
can lead to very repressed Manifestor adults. As the parent of a Manifestor child, your job is to teach
him or her to be polite. You shouldn't keep them from initiating, but by being polite, they will
encounter less resistance.
Manifestor Strategy

As an adult Manifestor, your Strategy is to inform. Adult Manifestors should not ask permission, but
their lives will be much easier if they inform the people around them of what they plan to do. The
energy of a Manifestor is intimidating and people naturally resist or retreat from it. By informing,
the Manifestors diffuse this fear and resistance allowing others who are so inclined to follow their
lead.

The primary emotion of Manifestors who are not following their Strategy is anger. They are angry
at people trying to control them and resist them. They hate being told what to do, and they should
not be told what to do. If you are a Manifestor, experiment with informing. You will see resistance
diminish and your anger subside.

If you are a Manifestor, you really don't need any help or permission to get things done. All the other
Types need interaction with others. You are inherently unpredictable and uncontrollable, and this
upsets people and causes them to dislike you. Try experimenting with informing.

If you are an emotional Manifestor (your Solar Plexus is defined), you still need to wait before making
decisions. You don't need input from others, you just need to feel the question for two or three days,
throughout your emotional cycle, so that you have considered it while you are up as well as down.
Then you can make a good decision.

Because you can initiate, people (including yourself) think you are in charge and responsible for what
is happening. You are not. Life moves on with or without us. Just because you can start things, does
not mean you can control them. Chill out. People will look to you to save them and blame you for
things they don't like. Follow your Strategy and take pride in who you are.

It is important for a Manifestor to rest. Although they are doers, they do not have the most powerful
motor, the Sacral Center. Generators are the ones equipped for hard work. Your open Sacral Center
causes you to be influenced by Generators around you, and to work twice as hard, but this is unhealthy
for you. Rest in bed at night before you are tired. You can read or watch TV before sleeping, but
rest before you think you need it.

Human Design: Manifestor Strategy

To Inform

written by Chetan Parkyn and Carola Eastwood

Manifestors are the great catalysts in life. Wherever you go and whomever you meet, you are a trigger
and cause for activity. Because it is impossible for you not to have an effect on people, everyone
around you will feel a great compulsion into some form of activity in your presence.... or they could
choose to deliberately sit back and let you do everything for them! With your Manifestor Design, you
seem to effortlessly catalyze results, then wonder why everyone else has such difficulty getting things
done!
Everywhere you go, whether you realize it or not, you catalyze people into action. You are the root
cause of action, the driving force. If you are reading this and thinking, “well that sounds great, but
I’m not very good at it”, read on.... The purpose of learning about your Human Design, besides
becoming more aware of yourself and others, is to take back your power and authority!

Moving at what can seem like light speed to accomplish goals, Manifestors are dynamos, and the
accomplishments that you take for granted can attract either great admiration or jealousy from others.
The difficulty for you is that, from a very young age, your energy is met with either subtle or overt
resistance from others. People can feel themselves threatened by your seemingly uncontrollable
energy; therefore, a large amount of your time can be spent diffusing interference from others.
However, if you learn how to inspire others to work with you rather than against you, you then bring
the full scope of your tremendous energy to bear in any endeavor.

As a Manifestor baby, as soon as you learned to crawl, you were off! Everywhere! When you learned
to walk, your parents most likely had the hardest time trying to restrain you from your attempts to
constantly explore the whole world and everything and everyone in it. As a Manifestor you are
naturally designed “to do,” to make things happen, so blocking you is always going to upset your
nature.

There is one important and startling fact, the knowledge of which can transform your whole life:
While you are a “doer”, capable of doing anything at anytime from your own inner volition, others
are not. Most people require a stimulus from their environment before they can act effectively; for
instance, something to respond to, or an invitation.

Please try to understand that people feel threatened by Manifestors; they feel left out because they
can only guess what you are going to do next, and this keeps most of the population slightly off
balance around you. You are a natural catalyst wherever you are. Something we all know at a very
subtle, non-verbal, level, is that Manifestors can quite easily turn our world upside down.
Subsequently, you, as a Manifestor may be resented and blocked in your efforts to do even simple
things. This can make you really angry or cause you to shut down, as your natural “doing” nature is
being obstructed and deliberately held up.

There is a solution for you, and this is an important Strategy for your Type: Simply let people know
what you are about to do. As a Manifestor “informing” others of what you are about to do may be the
last thing you want to even consider. “Why should I tell anyone anything? Why can’t they just let me
be and get out of my way?” But, you will find that even a small bit of information about your
intentions for someone who is not a Manifestor can be a huge relief for them. This simple action
allays other people’s fears, helps them feel included, and actually encourages their support.

For example, rather than simply marching out the door, try telling your roommate, “Hey, I’m going
out for a walk!” This will help people feel safe around you, enlisting their support rather than
resistance. By giving a little information, suddenly, you will find an immense freedom to move
effectively in your life while catalyzing agreement and cooperation from others.

We realize that what we are saying here may seem difficult, but try to see others’ point of view and
how threatened they might feel that you can do anything at any time and they are not ready for it.
Because of your Manifestor Design you have a relentless, compulsive, insistent, driving energy that
is constantly finding ways to express itself. Others are not Designed in this way!

As a Manifestor, it will be immeasurably helpful to realize that regardless of your life circumstances,
you always trigger other people. If you can pause long enough to see the bigger picture, you will find
that you do not need to be constantly avoiding or pushing others out of your way to get things done
in life! When you perceive you are being obstructed in going about your life, you have three choices:

 You can get incensed and try to push your way through.
 You can give up and stew in your own resentment.
 Or, you can inform the obstructers of some of your intentions.

By informing others, you will not only be allowed to pass freely, but also get support and offers of
company in your endeavors by the very people who had been blocking you. After all, it can be fun
hanging out with you, the Manifestor! Accompanying a Manifestor, who knows what may happen
next?

Just having a Manifestor Design does not automatically imply that your activities are creative, or even
positive! Creativity requires clear intent. Even though your manifesting feats look amazing, you are
not infallible. You might manage to do things more easily than other people can, but if you cause
chaos by your activities, that is not necessarily making yours or anyone else’s life more pleasant.
Hitler was a Manifestor, and he certainly catalyzed action! On the other had, you can be an enormous
force for good. The manifestor, Al Gore, spearheaded an unprecedented worldwide crusade for
environmental awarenss!

Regardless of our Human Design Type, as children, we are all influenced by our environment, parents
and educators. It is possible that you have been discouraged and blocked from manifesting from an
early age by people around you, because they had no idea of what you would do next and felt
constantly vulnerable.

Another possibility for you as a Manifestor is that you find yourself expected to constantly fetch and
carry for everyone around you without ever finding fulfillment or purpose for your own life. People
simply find your manifesting ability to be very “useful,” and you may have unconsciously agreed to
go along with their expectations of you. When you examine how this plays out in your life, you will
see that although things do, indeed, get done, no one really benefits in the long run. You pick up and
carry people and their problems, and in doing so actually deprive them of the opportunity to manage
for themselves. It is a little like being a lifelong parent for a lifelong child, and can end up angry and
resentful.

We have met more than a few truly disempowered Manifestors who have been so conditioned by
others that they simply give their power away. Learning about your Manifestor nature will empower
you live true to your nature and be the powerful, driving force that nature intended. The world truly
needs you, and it needs you awake, empowered, and fully engaged as a manifestor!

Are you one of those Manifestors with only a mild understanding of how capable you are? Do you
now realize that you can do things at leisure that other people with different Types of Design cannot?
As a Manifestor, you have a huge responsibility to be clear about to whom and to what you will lend
your manifesting abilities. Sometimes a commitment can mean a lifelong responsibility.

So, the question: if you always have such a strong effect on people, how do get you clear about whom
to be around? Since you catalyze people into activity, to whom will you give your manifesting
abilities?

Knowing in advance and having the inner assurance to stand aside from those situations that will fail
to satisfy you, or give you a sense of peace, is enormously empowering. Confidently picking up on
those particular situations where you can contribute wholeheartedly and benefit yourself and others,
will transform your whole life. The key is in knowing the benefits and limitations of your Manifestor
Design:

Limitations:

• People are silently frightened of your manifesting ability.

• You can fail to realize the uniqueness of your own power to “do” and expect others to have the same
ability.

• You can be impatient for others to get out of your way so you can perform, alienating those who
could otherwise perhaps assist.

Strengths:

• You have the amazing capacity to catalyze action.

• When you learn to include others, you can inspire a cooperative team of helpers.

• You have constant access to a uniquely powerful drive that creates results!

As you comprehend your particular Type of Rave Chart and how it works for you in your own unique
way, you will find that life starts to take on a whole new meaning. It begins to “click”, or make sense
to you. With this knowledge, in a world of myriad potential opportunities constantly presenting
themselves, you are able to clearly identify the options that work for you.

I'm curious how much the term ''Energy'' is stressed when referring to Manifestor's since they do not
have a defined Sacral center. Where is this energy coming from? Or is it not coming in the same way?
What are the sleep habits of Manifestor's?

In caso contrario avrà
imparato qualcosa.

Manifestation by Design

There is often a misconception when people are introduced to Human Design that only the Manifestor
type can manifest. But that is simply not true. We can all manifest if we do it by our design. A basic
rule of thumb starts with the strategy of the type. Manifestors manifest by informing who they impact,
Manifesting Generators manifest by acting, responding etc., Generators manifest by responding,
Projectors manifest when they are invited and Reflecrtors manifest when they reflect.

As you start to understand more about the high level strategy you can begin to fine tune it even more.
For example, if you are a 1-3 profile you are designed to manifest a particular thing, when you have
a foundational understanding and you have experienced enough to make it work. If you are a 5-2
profile you have the opportunity to manifest when you draw people in. If you have the leadership
gate, gate 7 then you are designed to manifest while leading. So there are many factors built into your
design that effect how you manifest.

In addition to aspects like profile and gates you should take a closer look at the Throat center. After
all in Human Design all expression comes to the surface in the throat. The connections you have there
can influence how much initiation will work for you. If you are a true Manifestor type then you can
initiate a lot. If you are a manifesting generator then you can initiate some but it typically works better
to initiate by response. If you have a defined throat and are a projector then there maybe certain things
you can initiate but usually it will work better to initiate after invitation. Lastly if you have an open
throat then your manifestation will be best by invitation, response or reflection.
Manifestors Amoung Us

Manifestors are here to be the creative spark to the flame of creation. This is quick energy. It needs
to embody that creative juice and flow. They strike and something happens, something is initiated,
something is kindled.

But Manifestors don’t function in a vacuum. They get things started but they need Generators,
Projectors and Reflectors to get the thing of the ground. If we are talking a high tech product or idea
the Manifestor sparks it but the Generators come in and do the work guided, lead and managed by
the projectors. The Reflectors lend reflection to give feedback on how things are going. At least that’s
the way it should work if we are all living our design.

So to make things happen beyond the first spark Manifestors must inform. That is their strategy. If
the Manifestor does not inform, the people around the Manifestor don’t know to come and pitch in to
get the thing of the ground. There is a delicate balance for the Manifestor between informing and
doing. When you stop what your doing to inform it slows things down. Part of the beauty of
Manifestor energy is the quickness. That quickness is the spark of creation or initiation that leads to
manifestation. Without the quickness there is not as much spark and without the spark, the thing or
the project might not take flight.

In Human Design what makes a Manifestor and Manifestor is to have a defined Throat center that is
connected to at least 1 of the following 3 motor centers; the Will, the Root, or the Solar Plexus. (There
is a forth motor of course which is the Sacral but having this with a motorized Throat would make
you a Manifesting Generator, not a Manifestor.)

There are so many aspects that make up design it can be misleading to stereotype the different types
of Manifestors, but I do so in order for you to get a sense of the flavor of this energy. What follows
is a description of the underlying push of the energy for the three basic types of Manifestors.

Types of Manifestors

Ego or Willful Manifestor

A Manifestor whose Throat is powered by the Will is

called an Ego Manifestor. The Ego Manifestor will
typically display some of that pushy energy associated
with will power. “I want it” or “This is how I want it.”
Ego Manifestors can be driven to be on their own trip.
Remember this channel from the Will to the Throat is
about hunting and gathering. This design is possibly all
about collecting the toys or material goods. We need
stuff to survive.
Emotional Manifestor Chart

The Emotional Manifestor may have will energy but they also have the emotional wave which will
control their manifestation. They have less clarity in the moment as they need to ride their emotional
wave. They not only have to maintain the balance of informing but they also have to maintain the
balance of acting and waiting for clarity. With any emotional design clarity only comes over time
from riding the emotional wave to the high and low points. The net result is that this type of
Manifestor is not suited to always act quickly. In all they will probably have less true manifesting
opportunities than a pure Ego or Splenic Manifestor. Here are two charts, one with the Will connected
to the Throat and one with no Will connection to the Throat.

Splenic Aware Manifestor

The third type of Manifestor is called Splenic aware. In

this case a motor center connects to the Throat thru the
Spleen. The Splenic aware Manifestor is empowered
with the knowingness in the now that the Spleen
provides. This is probably the quickest acting
Manifestor. Their action will generally be on a more
global basis and less on the “its about me” basis. This
is because the energy can flow directly from the Spleen
to the Throat or Spleen through the G/Identity to the
Throat. In this configuration it is not flavored by the
“me” of the Will center. It is more likely to find the
Splenic Aware Manifestor acting in a more altruistic
way.
Manifestors

Historically, Manifestors have lived the role of king, queen or priests and ruled over large groups of
humans.

Since Manifestors have ruled throughout history it is easy for them to gain authority and power over
others. They have established basic human laws and all spiritual and material hierarchies as an attempt
to maintain control and not to be challenged. They are distinctly patriarchal, yang yang energy.

Everyone wants to be a Manifestor because it is the only TYPE capable of acting on its own account.
Manifestors are designed initiate.

The Manifestors gift is to be able to act independently. Because of this, Manifestors may feel like the
rest of the world is moving in slow motion. Manifestors can make things happen without other people
but they can only do so much so they need the other Types to fulfill their goals.

Manifestors often do not fit into groups easily, perceived as uncontrollable. Being designed to operate
independently, this can become their greatest handicap. Manifestors are not here to do hard work but
they have to be allowed to do their own thing and remain uncontrollable in their own environment
doing their own thing.

Manifestors must wait, like all of us, but when the moment comes to act, they must inform all those
concerned even though they might face rejection.

Manifestors have to accept rejection on a deep cellular level. Rejection is their issue. If they live their
design those who matter will never reject them. They will be loved simply for who they are – simple,
powerful, untamable, freedom loving people.

Manifestors are simply here to enjoy. It is a gift from the gods. Whatever the Manifestor does now is
for them and the only responsibility they have is to enjoy the reward by being their Self.

STRATEGIES

Manifestors strategies are different according to age – as a child they are taught to ask for permission
and as an adult – they have to inform before they do something. This is the most difficult thing for a
Manifestor. However, courage to practice this strategy will make a huge difference in their life and
for those around them.

Emotional Manifestors have to wait out their wave before they know when, why and whom to inform
about what. Sometimes it is difficult to hold back emotional energy and wait, however, it always pays
off in the end.

Will I be allowed?

As a doer, they don’t need anybody to act and therefore they are deeply reluctant to ask others. They
can feel as though they are giving their power over if they inform, so they usually don’t bother
informing and take what they want when they want it.
Most manifestors never learn how to ask or inform. Thus, they end up being punished, which feeds
distrust of others and so the circle continues.

Because Manifestors can take what they want when they want and can, they tend to behave this way
in relationships. Especially with men – “You are mine, I am taking you”. Relationships that begin
this way end in disaster.

Through informing the little things, you can avoid resistance and crisis. It also helps if the Manifestor
informs who they love and want to be with.

Emotional Authority

This kind of person has the potential for enormous power when they are making others wait for their
decisions to be clear. Natural decision making strategy is to “play hard to get” before clear decision.

This type of Manifestor is likely to react making decision before waiting for clarity to emerge. Also,
with defined head centers, likely to make decisions before waiting, relying on mind to know – it
doesn’t. The worst enemy is the mind – with the mind tending to take control of a situation, forcing
a premature decision, which will eventually turn on U.

If you do not use strategy, waiting until clear in emotions, you will meet resistance and rejection from
others. Most manifestors are uncontrollable and dangerous because they do not follow their strategy.

Manifestors in the world

In truth, Manifestors are all pussycats that do not really resonate with the rest of humanities need to
work. They are not really concerned with being useful. Most just want a quiet life where they are left
alone to do their own thing.
