Position: Head Brewer
* I am responsible for the brewing of the Company's non-alcoholic malt product a
ccording to the set standard and targets of quantity, quality and time within ap
proved budget.
* I am also overseeing the packaging and technological operations as well as ens
uring effective supply chain operations in the brewery location where the produc
t is manufactured under contract.
2. SIERRA LEONE BREWERY LTD, FREETOWN, SIERRA LEONE 13th November, 2006 - 14th
October, 2007
Position: Brewing Consultant and Trainer
- I was responsible for the training of Brewers (Managers), Supervisors and ot
her Non-Management personnel in the Brewing Department.
- Carried out the functions of the Head Brewer:
- Ensuring efficient brewing of Company's alcoholic and non-alcoholic products a
ccording to the set standards of quantity, quality and time within approved budg
et.
- I was also involved in the optimization of the supply chain section.
- The quality of their products improved tremendously within the period that I
was there. Maltina (Malt Drink) had a very high Heineken Taste Test Result, wit
h a score of 3.2 for the samples of December, 2006 and September, 2007 - the bes
t ever for Maltina in that Brewery. Star Lager Beer had a score of 3.4 for the s
amples of June, 2007.
3. NIGERIAN BREWERIES PLC, LAGOS, NIGERIA
(a) Aba Brewery Branch March, 2002 - April, 2005
Position: Technological Controller
- Ensuring that Standard Process Instructions, from raw materials to finished pr
oducts, are strictly adhered to for all products.
- Responsible for technological control of the brewery location as Head of depar
tment.
- Contributed immensely to the HACCP Certification of Aba Brewery and maintenanc
e of the HACCP System requirement as HACCP Team Leader as well as handling envir
onmental issues in Aba brewery location.
- Carried out relief duties for the Head Brewer any time he was away on leave or
on courses.
- Went on early retirement from Nigerian Breweries Plc in 2005.
(b) Research $ Development Centre, H/Q, Lagos May, 2000 - March, 2002
Position: Head of Central Laboratory
- Provided quality control support for the brewers and marketing by assuring the
quality as well as specifications of grains, purchased materials and other item
s.
- Provided and analyzed micro - samples of beverage products and research and de
velopment projects.
- Carried out regular visits to the factories of the third party maltsters for p
re-delivery control checks before the malted sorghum batches were sent to the Br
ewery locations.

- Conducted research investigations into malting and brewing process development
and optimization using sophisticated laboratory equipment to enhance product qu
