n active-duty Marine that will be retiring after serving 29 years of service on
November 30th, 2010. My primary focus during my time in the Corps was in the var
ious aspects of Human Resources, including recruiting, training, mentoring and m
anagement. Although my profession has exposed me into multiple zones, my primary
area of expertise is in the arena of Recruiting, Leadership, and Senior Managem
ent. I am open to seek all possible options; however pursuing an area of Human R
esources is where I wish to achieve due to my technical abilities, social skills
, training and development experiences, and immense ability to lead and motivate
personnel.
As you will notice on my resume, I have extensive experience in critical leaders
hip positions, and have performed successfully in these roles. My beliefs is tha

1981 2010 CHIEF OF RECRUITING
OPERATIONS HOUSTON, TX (11/2004 6/2006 & 4/2008 PRESENT): I was respons
ible for the overall operations of a Recruiting Headquarters, which encompasses
overseeing the production and progression of 83 Recruiters. I conducted statisti
cal analysis, applicant screening, maintain and improved quality control procedu
res, initiated product placement, assigned technical job programs to all enliste
es, and managed the organization eligibility of over 1000 applicants annually. I
also maintained operational management, ensured all recruiting policies and enl
istments were within established standards, assisted in the development of organ
izational and operational structure of multiple recruiting facilities, and assis
ted in formulation of all contracting and shipping goals of 17 area management t
eams within the Greater Houston area and Southeast Texas.

RECRUITER INSTRUCTOR (REGIONAL SALES MANAGER) HOUSTON, TX (7/2006 4/2008):
Was responsible for the supervision and mentorship of 17 area management teams
in the Greater Houston and Southeast TX area totaling 83 recruiters.
I executed annual inspection program of all facilities to ensure adherence to e
stablished policies.
Trained and certified over 20 area managers for assumption of position.
Trained and certified all recruiting personnel in systematic recruiting procedu
res.
Conducted communication and professional selling skills training to all members
of the recruiting force.
Conducted over 200 performance reviews on all newly assigned managers and recru
iters.
Implemented comprehensive annual training plans to ensure follow-up, refresher,
and follow-on training were conducted.
Developed and implemented a comprehensive training schedule for the recruiting

X, Conroe TX, and the entire Montgomery County area.
Resolved, educated, and handle parental concerns as needed among each enlistmen
t.
Coordinated the preparation and development of each enlistment to ensure proper
shipment to training.
Managed, supervised, and conducted all training and development of the recruiti
ng sales force which included 8 personnel during this period.
Maintain the link among educators, community, and recruiting personnel.
Exceeded all enlistment goals during this period.
WESTERN REGION QUALITY CONTROL CHIEF SAN DIEGO, CA (7/1999 7/2003):
Responsible for the accurate enlistment procedures of all applicants joining th
e Marine Corps in the Western United States.
Interviewed and inspected the proper documentation of over 20,000 enlistments a
nnually.
Curriculum developed the one week training course for all Marine Corps personne
l serving at one of the 32 Military Entrance Processing Station across the Weste
rn United States.
Provided on-site training and assistance to those marines serving in their pers
pective position and areas.
RECRUITER SCHOOL INSTRUCTOR & COURSEHEAD SAN DIEGO, CA (6/1995 7/1999):
Taught the basic, intermediate, and advance recruiting course to all perso
nnel attending this school.

Responsible for the enlistment of over 130 individuals.
Earn the prestige title Recruiter of the Year 2 years in a row for being North
Carolinas top recruiting producer during this period.
Earn recruiting most supreme award for enlisting over 100 individuals.
This award is called the Centurion Award in which less than 1 percent of all re
cruiters ever achieve in a three year period, whereas I accomplished it in less
than 2 years.
