Program provided housing, counseling, concrete services, and case management.
Supervised multi-disciplinary staff of 14 clinicians. Served in the role of Age
ncy specialist for Regulatory Compliance, and updating NYS OMH 595 license.
In addition, as part of the Agency's recent expansion, authored two "RFP" propos
als. Completed the development and construction of a new 72 unit facility from s
ecuring architect, negotiating contracts, dealing with a number of city and stat

Part time Position. Responsible for a seven person team comprised of 2 psychiat
rists, social workers, and substance abuse counselors. This new program attempte
d to engage and refer refractory shelter clients, the majority of whom were ment
ally ill and chemically abusing for appropriate services. In addition to the cl
inical and operational aspects, I was charged with the development of policy and
procedures.

Riverside House: Port Jervis, New York
Clinical Director
Responsible for all clinical aspects of an OASAS licensed forty bed Medically Su
pervised Inpatient Facility as well as two Outpatient Clinics with a capacity fo
r 120 patients.
Developed and Implemented program for newly licensed facility based upon an
approach utilizing psychotherapy (Cognitive, Behavioral, and Insight) , li
festyle changes and 12 Step Self Help entitled Intensive Rehabilitation Prog
ram (IRP).
Established and maintained liaison with regulatory agencies, community resources
and other referral sources as well as HMO's, Networks, and Insurance Companies.
Reported directly to the CEO.
Operation ceased 11/94 due to under capitalization.

1989-1992
Canarsie Counseling Center: Brooklyn, New York
Clinical Director
Responsible for all aspects of operating a free standing Mental Health Clinic pr
oviding a complete range of psychiatric services to clients ranging in age form
childhood through adulthood encompassing all diagnostic categories.
Clinic census was approximately 10,500 patient visits per year and was staffed b
y 18 full and part time clinicians and 5 support staff.
Specific responsibilities included: Admissions and discharges; UR, QA, and Need
s Assessment; Supervisor to nine clinicians; Hiring and firing; Liaison with gov
ernmental agencies (e.g.: CWA, DSS, SSA, and OMH), foster care agencies, as wel
l as community resources; Reported directly to Executive Director of PARENT AGEN
CY. Maintained small caseload as well.
