2 SpeedTouch™190 Product Configuration
During the SpeedTouch™190 boot process, it gets extra information from the
DHCP server containing -among others- the IP address of a TFTP server and a file
name. In the corresponding configuration file, you are able to specify the user’s SIP
settings. The SpeedTouch™190 then connects to the TFTP server to download
the file. Occasionally (this depends on a setting in the configuration file) the
SpeedTouch™190 will compare its configuration file’s version to the version of
the proposed update configuration file offered by the TFTP server. In case the file
version of the configuration file offered by the TFTP server is newer, the Speed-
Touch™190 will update its configuration (file). The SpeedTouch™190 automati-
cally puts both the TFTP address in the TFTP server text box and the file name
in the Boot File Name text box.
To select another TFTP server or another configuration file name manually,
proceed as follows:
1 Type the IP address of the TFTP server in the TFTP server text box.
2 Type the configuration file name in the Boot File Name text box.
3 Click Save Configuration File Settings to apply and save your changes.
