Job Title- Survey Crew Chief

Summary- I have been a Survey Crew Chief for 23 years and a Surveyor for 26 Year
s, working in Boundary, Topographic, Construction Surveys. I am applying to sit
for the Surveyors Exam. I have also been in an office environment for Plan prep
aration with Courthouse and Agency Document research.
In performing above tasks I have used Nikon, Topcon, Ziess, and Sokkia Total St
ations. Prismless and Semi Robotic Total Stations, with TDS ranger and HP Data
collectors. GPS Equipment for RTK , Topographic surveys, and Rapid Static for c
ontrol surveys. I have handled several crews on the same job for some larger pro
jects.
In an office setting I have done Courthouse research, Plotted Deeds and other d
ocuments for use in the field. Plotted field Surveys by hand and AutoCAD. Plotte
d and Designed Septic Systems, Survey and Civil Engineering Plans, using CAD and
Ink Pens.
I have attended various continuing education classed and seminars on surveying
calculations and procedures, Ethics, Storm water, and Septic design. And have at
tended the Pennsylvania Surveyors Conference when able to.
