EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Production Associate
- 1999 to 2009
Keihin Indiana Precision Technology (Honda Motors America Supplier), Greenfield,
Indiana
* I held varied positions and responsibilities throughout multiple departments d
uring my ten years working at Keihin. A capsule summary chronology: Electronic C
ontrol Unit Department-A Side Parts Mounting Machine Operator, Final Finish 2-Qu
ality Control Inspector, Final Finish 1-Shakeout/Cutting Station Operator/Inspec
tor, Gravity Die Caster/Relief Operator, Online Quality Control, Makino-(CNC)-Ma
chines Operator, Gravity Die Cast Machinist, Gravity Die Cast Assembler, and Fin
al Assembly.
* These multiple positions were gained and maintained due to my attention to pro
duct details, ability to learn quickly, work efficiently, and remain adaptable a
nd flexible in a high quality demanding production environment.
* *Other Positions and Responsibilities held Plantwide: Inventory Control, Suppl
y Allocation, Scanning, Tagging, Stocking, Labeling, General Maintenance, Shippi
ng, Receiving, Machine Preparation and Set-Up, Data Collection, Logging, Recordi
ng, Multiple Materials Handling, Archiving, Non-destructive testing using: templ
ates, percent/tap gauges, air mics, micrometer scales, jigs and surface roughnes
s testers, 100% and 200% Online/Offline Quality Inspector.
* During my time as a 100% and 200% Online Quality Inspector I was able to drama
tically reduce production sorts and line claims for defects and quality issues w
ith outbound product. Prior experience in the Casting and Machining departments
paid dividends as it allowed me to be pro-active in anticipating issues of quali
ty and process defects. Thereby eliminating costly recall of shipments and parts
sorting, and maintaining high quality levels within the tight tolerances of the
Automotive Industry.

Qualitech Steel, Pittsboro, Indiana
* Visual inspection of casted steel blooms, made final separation cuts to length
per customer specifications. Also made sample cuts to insure quality for the Ma
cro-Etch Lab. Tagged blooms for proper type, location, quality, and inventory tr
acking. Also when needed, I operated an Industrial Overhead Crane to maneuver th
e giant cut steel blooms.
* In my short time at Qualitech Steel, I was already taking the initiative to le
arn the other processes that encompassed the overall production of steel. This r
esulted in me working in the Steel Yard when time was available to learn the inv
entory and materials handling side of the mini-mill operation. My prior certific
ation with Clark Industrial Trucks allowed me to segue easily into the larger he
avy-duty fork trucks in use around the mill complex.
