CAREER HISTORY
Engineering Summary
From 1990 to 1998 I was a senior systems engineer with the United States Space S
huttle Program with United Space alliance/ Lockheed Martin Space Operations as a
Guidance/Navigation & Flight Control Engineer. I improved space shuttle safet
y and reliability and reduced costs by designing and conducting tests on various
systems; tested avionics, guidance, navigation, flight control, braking, hydrau
lics, orbiter maneuvering system, and robotics. As a result of these initiative
s, I was recognized by my employer and NASA with saving the Shuttle Program $200
K in annual cost savings by streamlining hardware and software testing. Additio
nally, I was honored with a Certificate of Appreciation from NASA Director of Jo
hn F. Kennedy Space Center for enhancing, designing, and implementing modificati
ons to Shuttle Program.

From June 1998 to July 2000, I was a senior engineer/analyst with Averstar, In
c. (now L3 Communications wherein I led Independent Verification & Validation (I
V&V) for NASAs Checkout and Launch Control System (CLCS), which provided safety
and reliable means to process and launch space shuttle; assessed safety critical
software and system software for quality, testability, and traceability.
From July 2000 to July 2003, I was a senior systems engineer for Raytheon wher
ein I verified
specifications for ground base Fire Control System for military. Created, coordi
nated, and integrated test plans with team members as Lead Engineer; ensured com
pliance with system specifications. Additionally, I provided engineering expert
ise for $1B+ sale to Kuwait military in 2001. I held a Top Secret Security clea
rance for this position. I was recognized by Raytheon with several On-the-Spot
awards for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and integrating test plans in l
aboratory and field, including those for foreign nations.
I am a graduate of West Virginia University College of Law in 2006 and a 1990
graduate of Bluefield State College with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering Techn
ology. Additional academic credentials include certification from the National
Trial Advocacy College at University of Virginia.
From July 19, 1981, to July 20, 1985, I was in the United States Marine Corps
as an electronics technician. I was honorably discharged after completing my te
rm of active service.
Legal Profile
In 2004 and 2005, I was a law clerk with the Colosi Law Office and the Robinette
Legal Group, PLLC, wherein I provided legal research and analysis to attorneys
regarding numerous legal issues.
Since October, 2006, I have been a member in good standing with the West Virgini
a Bar. I have resolved complex litigation matters for clients in wrongful deat
h claims against entities involving engineering principles; results of case were
placed under seal by court. I have represented insured clients involving constr
uction issues and auto accidents, in addition to personal injury. Additionally,
I have represented clients involved in mining or energy industry disasters.
Specifically, I prepared cases for all phases of litigation, including pleadings
, discovery,
depositions, mediation, settlement, and trial. I evaluated depositions and moti
ons from opposing counsel with respect to engineering standards. I composed pha
se reports for insurance carriers and their insured regarding litigation status.
I have provided direction for civil actions requiring engineering expertise, al
ong with case law research for civil litigation. Further, I regularly coordinat
e and develop documentation for trial. I have trial experience.
I excelled in academics in the area of energy law, advanced criminal procedure,
and pre-trial litigation and received the highest grade for each from West Virgi
nia University College of Law.
