Technical Project Lead, Business/Systems Analyst, Application Engineer
*Directed and Managed software system development and integration projects for a
variety of banking business clients including Global Technology, Commercial and
Retail Products, Corporate and Service Company. Worked closely with client bus
iness managers and key client SME's to identify and document Business Requiremen
ts and Technical Designs. Developed, tested, and implemented mainframe and clie
nt-server banking systems.
Selected Accomplishments:
*Led Project Teams to implement Disaster Recovery systems for 3 of Comerica's Cu
stomer-Facing applications, including Global Trade Web, Treasury Management and
ARP in October, 2009. The applications were designed, installed, tested and imp
lemented under budget and 4 weeks early to meet a government-mandated deadline.
*Led Project Team to successfully implement a web-based CourseMill eLearning app
lication in January, 2009 which replaced a legacy mainframe system and provided
significant cost savings for delivery of required training to Comerica employees
.
*Led SWIFT-related project initiatives to install mandated yearend updates and i
mplement a SWIFTAlliance Gateway component which expanded connection and interfa
ce capabilities. The SWIFT application is used for sending and receiving messag
es, including financial transactions processed between banks and other financial
institutions.
*Researched, analyzed, compiled and documented Business Case for an ASP replacem
ent (Proponix) for the Letter of Credit, Collections Processing and Global Trade
Web International Trade Services applications. The Proponix implementation was
begun in late 2009 and is targeted for implementation in early 2011.
*Designed, Developed, Tested and Implemented COBOL/SQL client-server components
for Letter of Credit and Collections Processing international applications. Imp
lemented a new Reconciliation application for the international client. Designe
d, developed and implemented a Liability Interface to the Recon application.
*Developed and Implemented mainframe changes for an AMTrust Treasury Management
application.
*Participated with Enterprise Project Management Methodologies (EPMM) team to de
velop components of a corporate-wide PM process structure and website. Particip
ated in Center of Excellence (COE) Focus Groups to define best practices for Tec
hnical Project Managers, including groups which defined WBS templates and Recomm
ended Behaviors. Participated in Comerica Association for Project Professionals
(CAPP) organization, which included attending quarterly meetings, participating
