Dear Employer:
I am interested in a position in your organization. I have my resume enclosed, f
or your review. Please use this letter as my formal application presenting my ba
ckground, education, and experience. I currently moved to Gainesville and I am l
ooking into employment in the area. I completed my practicum at New Horizons Nor
th in 2008 and enjoyed my experience there. Mr. Henry Roberts gave me his busine
ss card and stated to use him as a reference if I ever decided to work up in Gai
nesville area.
I have over 5 years of experience dealing and communicating with people in diffe
rent settings and situations. I have been raised in and around the hospital and
feel as though I have a good general knowledge of how a hospital operates and I
know what is expected of a health care employee. I have had many different clini
cal experiences throughout my pre-nursing learning experience in settings such a
s nursing homes, various floors at northeast Georgia medical center (med-surg, o
rthopedic, ER, OR, L&D, mother baby, pediatrics). I have worked within the Emory
Healthcare System for the past 20 months while completing LPN school and I have
gained an expansive amount of experience in the acute care setting. Customer se
rvice has been my primary goal, along with learning each day about what working
in the healthcare field entails. I have enjoyed helping other people and partic
ipating with the staff in all the different assignments and activities necessary
. Throughout the many different tasks that I have done independently or assisted
with throughout my clinical experiences, I have enjoyed trying to make sure tha
t the people that I care for in any setting are happy, comfortable and satisfied
with their care. I have always had a deep love for working with and caring for
people, especially children, and being understanding and flexible with all peopl
e's needs. I feel that I am easy and pleasurable to communicate with as well as
a compassionate and a compatible team worker.
May I arrange an interview to further discuss my qualifications? I am available
for an interview at a mutually convenient time. I can be reached at (678) 412-58
15. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Pamela E. Bartles
