My consulting responsibilities include raising debt and equity capital for a var
iety of businesses along with the managerial oversight of various capital projec
ts. Specifically, I continue to play a leadership role in the execution of fina
ncial business plans, the development of key marketing/sales strategies, investo
r negotiations and team building.

Through my leadership, I built the company's trust and bank initiative which inc
luded a national roll up strategy. This acquisition strategy identified and ana
lyzed trust companies and banks with assets from $500MM to $3BN throughout the c
ountry. Developed a new five year financial model that created a trust and priv
ate banking business with a return on equity in excess of 15% annually. Created
a new business, marketing and sales template to execute our business strategy.
Responsible for negotiating a $50MM bank facility for the company.
Harbor Bank and Trust (In Organization), Southport, CT 2006 - 20

Developed a regional community banking strategy to build a $1 billion financial
institution focusing on private banking, wealth management and trust. This fina
ncial model offered premier customer service to professional business owners, en
trepreneurs, high net worth individuals and family offices.
Responsible for the successful completion of all documentation and procedures re
quired by the State of Connecticut to grant approval for a de novo bank charter.
Approval process included application, feasibility study, five year financial p
lan and public hearing.
Upon regulatory approval from both the State of Connecticut and FDIC, I establis
hed a marketing strategy to promote the bank and raised $15MM in capital. The es
tablishment of Harbor Bank as a start up required my leadership in the selection
of an investment bank, preparation of an offering circular, investment/marketin
g presentations to potential investors and the creation of a Board of Directors
that consisted of local community business leaders. Personally recruited and hir
ed an experienced senior management team. I implemented Harbor Bank's corporate
branding through public relations, advertising and special event presentations.
Initiated products and servicing capabilities, which included trust, wealth ma
nagement and private banking. Implemented federally required bank policies and
procedures; built out a 5,500 square foot "A" space commercial bank office, nego
tiated all required contracts, and evaluated a variety of core bank operating sy
stems.
