1999 2000. Managed the estate and assets of Mr. C. H. Woodward.
Guided the reorganization of the family trust and distribution of assets. Compl
eted securities reregistration, tax returns and estate closing.
1996 -1999. Development Consultant for MEEM Investments, Inc.
Directed the overall planning of a 204-unit apartment complex, fitness center, a
nd extended stay motel situated on 13 acre campus. Started with the project at
the conceptual stages and guided it through the rezoning, architectural/engineer
ing, costing and general contractor selection phases. Acted as the owners repre
sentative and arranged financing by preparing proformas and obtaining final comm
itment from HUD and a local bank.
1995 1997. Owner of Trade Secret franchises. Led two mall-based franchises bac
k to profitability by updating point of sale technology, business processes, and
sales environment. Sold both franchises back to the parent corporation for a r
easonable gain.
1992-1995. Oak Park Investment Advisers. Registered Investment Adviser. Manage
d private funds and published the BIOVEST investment newsletter
1989 1992. Managed Scottish Links Golf Course.
Led Scottish Links, (now called Fox Run) an 18-hole public golf course and succe
ssor of McIntosh & Co., Inc. through initial development, construction, and oper
ational stages. Led the company through Chapter 11 reorganization, had a plan c
onfirmed and stayed on for 18 months when the course was sold to a new owner.
1975 1990. McIntosh & Co., Inc. Founder, President, and Chief Operating Offic
er.
Started the company as an independent securities brokerage firm. Directed the e
xpansion of the company into banking, software development, and real estate. Fr
om $56,000 in capital the firm reached an equity capitalization of $1.8 million
before being forced into reorganization by human resource litigation against ano
ther executive officer.
