installate all’aperto senza particolari precauzioni.
macchina a pieno carico.
convogliare l’aria verso l’esterno.

quadro;
• avvitare il pressacavo fissando così il cavo all’armadio;
• richiudere l’armadio tramite l’apposita chiave verificandone la
corretta chiusura;
• ripristinare l’alimentazione del ramo tramite l’interruttore
dell’impianto elettrico.
collegati all’interruttore generale.

process pump takes cooled water and sends it in the process plant. It stops refrigerant migrating in the evaporator whilst the compressor is
stopped.

where applicable: simply connect the water manifold units mechanically.
ATTENTION: Make sure there is nothing on top of the unit. This is
essential to prevent warm air expelled from being drawn back into the
condensers. If the unit is placed under a lean-to, there must be a
clearance of at least 2 metres between it and the unit. Deflectors must
also be applied to convey air outside.

removed condenser filters, in order to avoid the entrance of foreign
bodies.
WARNING: During the winter, if temperatures fall below freezing, the
water pump must be kept running at all times to prevent ice from

rotation
In order to verify the correct connection to the electric network, first
open the compressor fuses and fan fuses, then switch on the unit.
Afterwards check that the electro-pump rotation is like the indicator
placed on the electro-pump cover.
Otherwise block the unit and, after cutting off voltage to the machine,
invert two phases of the main electrical supply. Repeat the checking
1 procedure and then stop the chiller and restore the previously isolated
fuses to working order.
ATTENTION: Never, under any circumstances, invert the power supply
phases of the individual components.

When the unit is removed or replaced because it has reached the end wash or replace
of its life, it must be taken to special collection centres. • For any water or oil leaks or formation of condensation
• Water pressure in the circuit
If no specialised centres are available, proceed as follows:
• a qualified personal must collect the refrigerant taking care not to 8.2. MONTHLY CHECKS
disperse it into the environment and then send it to authorised
collection centres. In order that the chiller can work properly, check the following:
• the lubricating oil must also be collected and sent to authorised • The condenser to make sure it is clean;
collection centres for disposal. • Tightening of electrical terminals and contacts of contactors;
• Dismount the various components and the structure and sort the • Current demands of all motors;
various materials into separate groups for disposal (please bear in • Tightening of bolts fastening components to ensure they are
mind that considerable quantities of copper and aluminium are secure;
contained in the unit). • Refrigerant charge, and check for moisture through the liquid
inspection window;
The above allows the various materials to be recovered and disposed • Oil level through the inspection window at the base of the
of in order to avoid environmental damages. compressor (use BSE170 BITZER oil);
• The flow switch to ensure it is working properly;
• Clean filters on the water circuit ;
• Check the state of transmission belts.
WARNING: wear and tension state of the centrifugal fans transmission
belts must be checked anyway, if a situation of excess noise or
vibrations out of range of the machine should occur.
NOTE: Maintenance is not foreseen for safety valves. Cap removal with
sealing tampering are considered unauthorized changes of setting; this
involves the expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty.
