* Supervise a 20,000-square foot fulfillment distribution center, which includes
warehousing and shipping marketing and promotional items for other companies. S
hipping is done via United Parcel Service and various motor freight companies, s
hipping to every state in the U.S., Canada.
* Manage a 1,000-plus SKU inventory using a PC-based inventory system.
* Supervise two full-time employees.
* Coordinate what is to be packed and shipped, prioritize orders, purchase suppl

* Responsible for procurement of major kitchen appliances for resale to customer
. We had national account status with vendors such as Whirlpool and Maytag to pu
rchase direct from their distribution centers in truckload quantities.
* Worked with marketing department in regards to pricing and shipping for other
items such as water heaters and space heaters.
* Worked with purchasing manager to buy vehicles for the company in my last year
, including cars for the sales force and trucks for the construction and service
departments. This involved working closely with the fleet service department on
specifications for each vehicle.
* Responsible for buying printed material and copy machines for corporate headqu
arters.
