Management of multiple entities Walnut Ridge Baptist Church (WRBC) - Overseer of
all finances, property, human resources.... For church, school, pre-school, spe
cial learning lab, hot lunch program, radio and audio ministry.
Administrative accomplishments WRBC - Have developed consistency in the annual b
udget process. Lead through a complete strategic planning process that lead to
a consultant visit. Filled the temporary position of School Administrator for
two years. Accomplished the only year of positive net profit in last 12 years.
Leadership WRBC - Was able to guide the church in use of missionary funds that w
ere not being used.
Had to give regular financial reports to church and school. Praised for clarity
and simplicity of the presentations.
Directed both Finance and Property and Facility team in all monthly meetings, pl

Mayo - I was a leader in Accounts Payable and Patient Account Services in worki
ng with Disney on improving our levels of customer service.
Fundraising WRBC - Set Faith Partners fundraising record three of the seven year
s I was Financial Administrator. We raised $32,408 my first year and $134,918 t
wo years later. We averaged $90,000 my two years as administrator.
Property management WRBC - Made significant improvements to the church areas of
the property. New paint, carpet, and doors in significant area of the building;
technology improvements of video, DVD, and sound systems in all adult classroom
s, also replaced almost every heating and cooling unit in the building through c
areful management. We paid cash for all work done.
Financial Management WRBC - When I came, the school was running 20% (03/04) and
10% (04/05) deficits. We eliminated the deficit in the 08/09 school year despit
e a declining enrollment.
Am leaving the ministry in a strong financial condition with no debt, plenty of
reserves and balanced budgets.
Lead in all aspects of budgeting; preparation, development, and management.
Human Resources WRBC - Able to manage an average health insurance cost increase
of 4% annually through careful management, adjustments to employee participation
, and plan changes; added employee benefit programs such as a vision plan, legal
plan, and others. Brought a consistency to pay increase plan for all staff. I
mplemented an automated PTO time away plan which greatly increased staff flexibi
lity in their use of time off.
Business Ownership Personal - I currently own and operate my own vending busines
s with over $30,000 a year in sales; I am also a partner with three different r
ental units.
Pastor WRBC - In a new role, I had to participate in new things such as hospital
calling, participation in church services, counseling, Bible studies, and funer
als.
Supervision WRBC - Direct supervisor of all church office staff. Changed make-u
p of staff to accomplish cost savings and increase flexibility.
Mayo - Directed a project to transfer all calls in PAS from the assistant team t
o the counselor team. Lead PAS in a strategic planning process. Lead PAS in wo
rk on MCA account inventory transfer to PAS.
Project Management WRBC - Began a strategic planning team to consider changes, i
mprovements to our overall ministry.
Mayo - Was project manager for Accounts payable when left in 2004. Was manager
for the shared services project bringing AP to Mayo Foundation Rochester.
Leader in bringing the Disney model of customer service to Mayo Financial Servic
es and Rochester Department of Finance.
