PHARMACY TECHNICIAN/OTC MANAGER:
Took in new prescriptions at the drop off window, typed and filled new
prescriptions and refills, called doctor for script clarifications,
prior authorizations and refill requests. Called on any third party
problems and followed up if necessary. Maintained pertinent paperwork
for pharmacy and OTC. Placed orders using Telxon and McKesson Online.
Stocked pharmacy supplies and reordered them when needed. Responsible
for keeping diabetic supplies in stock and maintaining a clean and
clutter free pharmacy.
On the OTC floor I was responsible for maintaining in stock various
products. Using the Telxon to maintain various functions for instance,
keeping up with price changes, ordering, etc. I was responsible for
moving features to keep up with point of sale and other various
managerial duties.
PAYROLL TECHNICIAN:
Was responsible for processing payroll for over 1,000 employees using
various software and online resources. Created and updated
spreadsheets to log information such as: petty cash payments, VSDP,
healthcare, Workman's Compensation, retirement, garnishments, etc.
Sent and received e-mails on a daily basis for pay docks, wage hours
and other changes that needed to be made to employees personal
information. Kept and maintained a neat and accurate pending file from
pay period to pay period as well as kept up with filing paperwork at
the end of each pay period. Made sure each and every paycheck and stub
was sent and received in a timely manner. Used software Microsoft MS
Office, Pay breeze, CIPPS (Commonwealth Integrated Payroll/Personnel
Processing System), Word, Excel, fax machine and adding machine.
STORE MANAGER:

Responsible for opening and closing store for owner. Tested water for
pools and spas (ph levels, acidity, etc.) and printed off list of
chemicals needed to correct any problems for the customers if needed.
Advised customers and showed them new products/chemicals for pool or
spa. Sold and set up delivery of above ground pool or spa. Delivered
chemicals and sand when needed to main store and vice versa.
Maintained a neat and clean store at all times. Was responsible for
book keeping of sales and deposits for the store.
