Functional Summary:
My work experience has predominantly been in the area of sales and marketing.
For the last 10+ years, I have been engaged in sales management and marketing in
the industrial battery/motive power as well as water and waste water piping/sup
plies industry. My sales experience spans territories throughout the Southeast
and Mid-Atlantic corridor. My customer base for battery/motive power sales has
included fork lift dealers, warehouse/distribution centers e.g. produce, tire.
For water and waste water, my customer base included selling to consulting engin
eers, municipalities, distributors and contractors. Responsibilities have inclu
ded branch management, sales management as well as promoting, specifying and bid
ding product. Another key responsibility included customer servicing by trouble
shooting issues related to the product sold. One of my most important assets i
n business is my ability to communicate and work with the key decision makers to
effectively meet and manage their expectations. My skills in relationship buil
ding have enabled me to gain broader market entry and manage difficult business
situations. Achieving the best business results for my clients and the company
I represent has always been my primary goal.

* Responsible for the management of 2 employees at the Jacksonville branch.
* Responsible for the sales management of the sales in Northeast Florida territo
ry covering Jacksonville to Tallahassee to Daytona Beach.
* Expanded the customer base by adding several key dealer accounts including Rin
g Power, ClarkLift and Equipment Repair Specialists and key produce distributors
such as Fresh Point and Produce Distribution Center.
Consolidated Pipe and Supply Co., Orlando Florida
Area Manager (2006-2009)
* Responsible for expanding market into Northeast Florida for the sale of pipes,
valves and fittings for water, reclaim and sewer - brought in major projects to
taling $230,000.

Hancor Inc., Findlay, Ohio


Sales Engineer (2003-2006)
* Selling HDPE storm water pipe to contractors, municipalities and golf courses
in Northeast Florida and Southern Georgia. Worked through repricing issues in 2
004 and met targeted sales goals.
* Responsible for Central Florida territory that had significant issues with com
petitors and distributors. In 2003, increased sales 22% through targeted produc
t marketing and relationship building.

Area Sales Manager (2001 - 2003)
* Responsible for tracking and bidding capital projects in the Southeast region

* Increase sales tracked to $42 million representing a 300% increase

* Responsible for sales in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions
* Hired and managed a team of 4 sales representatives
* Introduced a new bidding process to sales team resulting in the subsequent bid
award of $140,000
* Doubled the sale being tracked from $7 million to $14 million
Price Brothers Company, Dayton, Ohio
Sales Engineer (1996-1999)
* Was the successful bidder in over $15 million in pipe products
* Acquired a $10 million bid in 1998 that prevented a plant closure in Palatka,
saving experienced personnel from being laid off from the company
* Overcame adverse perception of Price Brothers and its products in certain key
counties, creating long term relationships with the principal engineering firms
and municipalities.
* One of the key players to successfully open the door for future bidding in the
West Coast regional after legal problems had precluded Price Brothers' particip
ation in designated pipe work.
