EXPERIENCE:
March 1997 - January 2009
South Carolina Area Sales Manager for Nuvell Credit Company, LLC. Nuvell
Credit Company, a subsidiary of General Motors Acceptance Company, LLC,
provided near-prime/sub-prime automobile financing to General Motors
automobile franchises. My duties included establishing and maintaining
mutually beneficial relationships between the franchises and Nuvell Credit
Company. I provided the dealerships with information on the different
programs available through the company and the benefits of using our
products and services. I maintained relationships with the finance
departments, sales managers, and dealer principles and assisted in
application approvals and contract fundings, as well as assisting in
complaint resolution and maintaining customer goodwill. On May1, 2008 my
duties were expanded to include servicing non-GM franchises as the National

National Auto Finance ceased to exist.
January 1994 - November 1996
Business Manager for Pulliam Ford in Columbia, South Carolina, at that
time, the seventh largest Ford dealership in the United States. I was one

to the correct finance source was the primary purpose of the business
manager's job, as well as the sale of credit insurance, automobile extended
warranties, and rate participation. All documentation was secured to ensure
timely contract funding and proper automobile titling.
May 1993 - January 1994
Sales representative for Healthcare Providers of Laverne, California. We
sold vascular compression systems for home health care use. I would contact
physicians who would determine which patients would benefit from the use of
these systems. Upon receiving an order, I would visit the patient's home
and measure for the correct system, deliver the system to the patient and
instruct them on its proper use.
May 1988 - February 1993
Business manager for automobile dealerships in Columbia and Sumter, South
Carolina. Duties were the same as stated in the job description above for
Pulliam Ford.
October 1986 - March 1998
Sales representative for Associated Distributing in Columbia, S.C selling
Sony electronics to retail appliance and electronic stores in the southern
part of South Carolina. My job consisted of creating new accounts and
servicing existing accounts in my territory.
May 1983 - October 1986
Sales manager for the Display Center in Columbia, South Carolina selling
all major name brand appliances and electronics. I was also responsible for
two crews whose purpose was to deliver and set up appliances and
electronics for home use. In addition, I was involved in ordering and
warehousing products for sale.

Veteran recruiter and instructor for Rutledge Junior College in Columbia,
South Carolina. Duties included notifying eligible veterans of their GI
bill benefits and enrolling them in school. I also taught Business English,
Business Psychology, Anatomy & Physiology, and First-Aid.

Assistant manager of, at that time, the busiest Burger King in the United
States, in Columbia, South Carolina.
